A Profound Open Letter to the Skeletons in the Drafts

Dear Ideas,

In all sincerity, we ( brain and I)  apologize for the abandonment, leaving all of you to wither in the WordPress Cosmos. The simple thought of seeing you blossom into a wonderful post paints a smile upon our faces. But alas, Brain and I have not enough words to fund your growth.

We are doing all possibilities to revive you so don’t worry yet. Brain works very hard at his company BrainStorming, Inc. for financial support to fund you guys. I, on the other hand helps keep track of the words he earns. As of today, June 11, 2015, we have raised a thousand words for you guys but a thousand words simply does not fit all of your needs as your population increases at an alarming rate.

We suggest you hold on in the dark damp areas of the Drafts. Soon, someone shall be chosen and then finally extracting all you from these hellish places.

Your Parents,

Brain and I.

You See Me Rolling!

In this particular moment I knew I screwed up, bad.

I braced myself for what the future has imposed for me. For a brief moment, my mind did a quick recap as if, well, not as if but actually a minute ago.

Excitement pulsed through me as the view of the skate park came within sight. With new found skills, I was ready to show off. The thought of showing off opened my mind to the fact that my pride would someday kill me, maybe now.

Anyway, along with the skateboard I forwarded down the slope, gaining speed and prepared myself for the trick. Other people’s eyes stayed on me, feeding my pride. As soon as the slope elevated, I kicked down my back foot, resulting in a popping sound, and sliding my front foot. The ollie was successful,  escalating my height from the ground. Next objective: do a vertical pop shove it. My feet slid off from the board. And that’s when I knew I screwed up.

I fell face plant on the ground, but, momentum was not yet done with me. Since my legs were still suspended in the air, momentum rotated my body three times. I blacked out.

When I came to, pain was everywhere and my eyes only can glimpse the fluorescent light, blocked slightly by figures in which I guessed were doctors. I closed my eyes.

Moral: Never let pride control you or face the consequences.

No, this is not my experience. It’s just daydreaming. We don’t have skate parks here and I don’t even know how to ollie.

I am a Malevolent Monster! What Have I Done?

I enslaved my brain and I have become a cruel and brutal master.

I angrily forced and battered it to generate ideas.

It was totally blank for anything.

But his caring friend, Pity, persuaded me.

I gave it a chance.

It’s last chance.

It told me in its last dying breath to write its experience with me.

Guilt swapped places with Anger.

What have I done?

No it’s not a poem. Apparently for me, having mental block can be beneficial. Why? The post above.

How Safe are You from These Deadly Figures?

Somehow circles (yeah, you read that right) invaded our lives and society and are spreading at a deadly rate. How?

First order of business, our human lives.

  • We began as a fertilized circle and as time passes by, circles mark their presence in body parts such as the five senses.
  • Blood runs throughout the body with the process of circulation.
  • Some bones acquired the ability to pivot around the body.
  • What’s more, a common cycle of humans which is driven by pure instincts, is to produce new offspring. And what does a cycle take form of? Yes, that’s right, circles.

Human technology too is, I’m sad to say, compromised.

  • For instance, transportation makes use of wheels which are circles.
  • The annoying loading screen you see when your internet connection slows down takes shape of a circle.

Even…

  • Majority of favored sports games are played with balls, and what plane shapes are they? Yes, circles.
  • Even the very place where you call home is a circle.
  • The great ball of hot gases that powers life on Earth is a circle. Almost anything in the universe is circle.

Also,

The fact that I used the word… oh no, they’ve hacked into my mind. I can feel its presence in me. Save yourself and your loved ones. YOU have the chance!

CIRCLES!!!

Puberty’s Plague

Drenched in fear, the inhabitants of my body take shelter as the plague approaches.

The first few signs appear by marking my forehead with constellations. To reverse its effects, we had to boost the volume of fertilizer in our Adam’s apple. Unfortunately, the aftermath resulted to a deeper voice.

My shoulders broadened in size due to excessive hard work to lessen the effects of Puberty’s Plague. Fortuitously, the plague ceased, for now. But deep inside, our instincts tell us, that is only the beginning.
