I am a towering Tree
None can surpass me
I look down upon Saplings
And laugh defiantly
I am a towering Tree
I’m the tallest I’ll ever be
The Sky can only see me
For you have only reached my knee
I am a towering Tree
Loggers are now I see
they cut me down with glee
They pull my trunk through the debris
No longer am I a towering Tree
You have grown and surpassed me
I look up upon Saplings.
Oh how I wish you can forgive me!

“The person you took for granted today, may turn out to be the person you need tomorrow. Be careful how you treat others.” That automatically comes to mind when reading this.

welcome. :o) I’ll be reading a lot more. Be weary, I sometimes tend to ramble on about my reading xperience. If you like essays, you’ll be fine.
