Jesus wasn’t speaking in riddles. In His time, salt was gathered from the Dead Sea region, mixed with minerals and dust. When exposed to moisture or stored carelessly, the real salt dissolved, leaving behind a white residue. It looked like salt, but it could no longer preserve, flavor, or protect. What remained was thrown out and trampled underfoot.

Everyone listening had seen this happen.

And that’s the warning. Faith can still look right on the outside—words, routines, even ministry—yet slowly lose the inner substance that gives it power.

Daily situations where we risk losing our “saltiness”:
• Sharing God’s Word but compromising truth to avoid conflict
• Praying in public but skipping private prayer
• Offering kindness, yet grumbling when things don’t go our way
• Teaching or leading others, but holding onto bitterness
• Giving advice or guidance, but ignoring it in our own lives
• Carrying routines of worship but losing the fire in our hearts

Salt doesn’t lose its strength by being used—it loses it by being diluted and disconnected from its source.

Jesus ends with a call, not a condemnation:

GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

All the good things that officers do rarely make the news. Most news stations and newspapers would rather report alleged abuses committed by officers because that is what sells. Negative reporting gets people's attention!

The truth is that you guys do so much GOOD on a daily basis that is never reported! This week, which is National Police Week, I would like to focus on the GOOD that you do!

You are the ones who stand between good and evil. You are always ready to assist, rescue, and defend. If it were not for your
presence, citizens would not live in peace or be able to go about
their lives in a safe manner.

Everytime you take a drunk driver off the street, every drug dealer
that you arrest, each case that you investigate, every prisoner that you daily guard, every domestic that you intervene in, every shift that you supervise, every square mile that you patrol... whatever capacity of law enforcement you work in, you make a DIFFERENCE!

There are times when others will not see or know the good you've
done. You may not even see the end results of your labors all the
time. But God does and He notes it! You have been appointed by GOD to the position that you hold, and HE is pleased with your work! He is using YOU to overcome evil with good! Stand proud!

PRAYER: Father, thank you for our officers! Thank you for the good that they provide for our society! Thank you for their dedication, integrity, service and protection! Bless them in a special way this coming week! In Jesus' name, amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching me that I do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from Your mouth. Feed my soul with Your truth today and help me to hunger for Your presence more than any earthly thing. Amen.

But sound resurrects.

When you opened your mouth,
what had ruled quietly lost jurisdiction.

Because your voice is not expression.
It is alignment.

When you speak in truth, heaven recognizes its own language.
Angels move.
Boundaries redraw.
Old permissions expire.

You do not shout to be heard.
You speak, and things remember who God is.

THE LORD IS SAYING
“My child, I did not train your voice in comfort. I trained it in fire. I hid My sound in your chest until your character could carry its weight. Your voice is not for agreement—it is for governance. Do not dilute what I forged in the furnace. Do not whisper what I anointed to thunder. When you speak in alignment with Me, atmospheres obey because they recognize My authority riding on your breath. Speak. I will stand behind every word I authorized.”

MENTAL HEALTH REVELATION
Prolonged silencing trains the nervous system to associate voice with danger.
The body learns restraint to survive.

But healing restores agency.

When the voice returns after trauma, it often arrives with force— not because something is wrong, but because something has been reclaimed.

A healed nervous system does not ask permission to exist.
It communicates clearly, firmly, and without apology.

That clarity is not aggression.
It is integration.

And integrated truth
cannot be negotiated with.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
• I declare my voice carries heaven’s authorization.
• I no longer negotiate my sound with fear.
• My words align atmospheres with truth.
• What resisted me is losing permission to stay.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Many misunderstand salvation because they do not understand the role of blood in God’s plan of redemption. From Genesis to the cross, God established a principle that never changed: sin requires blood.

“Without shedding of blood is no remission.” Hebrews 9:22 (KJV)

Before the cross, God allowed sins to be covered temporarily through animal sacrifices. These sacrifices were not the solution; they were pictures pointing forward to Christ. “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins” (Hebrews 10:4, KJV). The law exposed sin, but it could not remove it.

The cross marked the turning point.

When Jesus shed His blood, He did what no sacrifice before Him could do. His blood did not merely cover sin — it paid for it completely. Scripture says we are “justified by his blood” (Romans 5:9, KJV). Justification is a legal declaration from God Himself that the sinner is no longer guilty.

This is why salvation after the cross is not based on works, endurance, or religious effort. It is based on the finished value of Christ’s blood. God is not saving people today by law-keeping or self-improvement, but by faith in what the blood of Jesus accomplished.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)

After the cross, something radically changed: peace with God became possible immediately. No priest. No altar. No sacrifice repeated. “Having made peace through the blood of his cross” (Colossians 1:20, KJV). Salvation is not gradual—it is instant the moment a person believes.

This is also why salvation is secure. If eternal life depended on our performance, it would never last. But because it depends on Christ’s blood, it cannot fail. God will never demand payment twice for the same sin.

The gospel message today is therefore blood-centered, cross-centered, and grace-centered:

The Gospel (KJV)
“How that Christ died for our sins,
And that he was buried,
And that he rose again the third day.”
1 Corinthians 15:1–4

Salvation is received the moment a sinner believes this gospel. At that moment, the blood of Jesus is applied, sins are forgiven, righteousness is credited, and eternal life is given. Grace does not excuse sin — the blood satisfied God’s justice fully.

The cross did not lower God’s standard.
The blood of Jesus met it completely.
