Good day, and welcome to The Kitchen.
On this platform, we explore the contents in the Body of the Word as the delicacies of God—to create the form of the Father on earth, make the earth in his likeness and to take charge of the economic destinies of nations for God.
Relax, and let's journey through the scriptures to see the Body of the Word.
In Revelation 1:1–3 and 12–17, the Apostle John gives us a powerful vision. On the island of Patmos, he saw Jesus Christ—not as an abstract concept, but as a living Person. He saw a full body: clothed in glory, eyes like blazing fire, feet like glowing bronze, and a face shining like the sun in all its brilliance.
This vision establishes something foundational:
The Word of God is a living Person, has a full body—and He is the image of the invisible God.
Hebrews 1:3 confirms this:
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being.”
This means the invisible God has been made visible—in the Body of the Word.
Colossians 2:9 declares that “in Christ dwells all the fullness of the deity in bodily form.”
So, if you are seeking to understand the Father, you must look at the Body of the Word—because the Body of the Word is the face of God.
Jesus has always carried the responsibility of revealing the Father (John 1:18), and He continues this work today (John 17:26). How? Through His Body.
2 Corinthians 4:6 tells us that the knowledge of God’s glory is revealed “in the face of Christ.”
That face is not just symbolic—it is the full Body of the Word, expressing the beauty, nature, and glory of God.
Every part of this Body carries meaning.
Every detail is a revelation.
Every description of his Body in Scripture is a window into the Person of the Word.
Jesus said in John 5:39 that the Scriptures testify of Him. This means every description we see—like those in Revelation 1—is not random. They are precise, spiritual descriptions revealing who He is.
And here is the key:
When these descriptions are unfolded, they produce light.
Psalm 119:130 says, “The unfolding of Your words gives light.”
That light is revelation—the detailed understanding of the Father.
The Body of the Word as Blazing Fire
One striking description in Revelation is this:
“His eyes were like blazing fire.”
This is not limited to His eyes alone—it reveals the nature of His entire Body.
The Body of the Word is like blazing fire.
Ezekiel saw the same reality (Ezekiel 1:27)—a figure filled with fire from waist up and waist down. This shows us that the Word of God is full of fire—intense, living, and powerful.
But what does this fire mean?
It reveals something deeper:
The Body of the Word is the aggressive hunger of the Father.
This fire represents divine passion—an intense longing, a consuming desire of God.
And what is this hunger for?
The Body of the Word itself.
The Body of the Word as the Food of God
In Exodus 25:30, God commanded that the bread of His presence be before Him at all times.
Jesus later reveals this mystery in John 6:
“I am the bread of life… the living bread that came down from heaven.”
So we understand:
The Body of the Word is the food of God.
It is the one and only meal continually set before Him.
Even in Numbers 28, God required daily offerings—morning and evening. This reveals His ongoing desire:
The Body of the Word is the daily request of the Father.
The Body of the Word as the Lamp of God
Now we go deeper.
If the Body of the Word is blazing fire, then it is also light.
And if it is light—then it is a lamp.
Jesus said in Matthew 6:22:
“The eye is the lamp of the body.”
And in 2 Samuel 22:29:
“You are my lamp, O Lord.”
This means:
The Word of God, as a Person, is a Lamp.
And the work of a lamp is clear—to burn, to blaze, and to give illumination.
But here is a critical truth:
A lamp must be fueled.
In Leviticus 24:1–2, God instructed that oil must continually be supplied so the lamp can keep burning.
The lamp does not provide its own fuel.
That responsibility belongs to us.
Our Responsibility
The Father desires to express Himself on earth as a Lamp—to give light, direction, and revelation.
But for this to happen:
The Lamp must be fueled.
And how do we fuel it?
Through:
Our hunger for the Body of the Word
Our attention to the Body of the Word
Our continual engagement with the detailed descriptions of the Body of the Word
When we bring this “oil,” the Lamp burns.
When the Lamp burns, there is illumination.
When there is illumination, the knowledge of the Father is revealed.
Without fuel—there is no fire.
Without fire—there is no light.
Without light—there is no revelation.
Final Charge
The Body of the Word is:
The image of the invisible God
The face of the Father
The blazing fire of divine hunger
The food of God
The Lamp of God
And today, heaven is calling us into responsibility:
Fuel the Lamp.
Give attention to the Body of the Word.
Stay hungry for its revelation.
Engage deeply with its Body.
Because as you do, the Father will be revealed—clearly, powerfully, and continuously.
Prayer
Father, thank You for revealing Yourself to us through Your Word. Open our eyes to see, and stir our hearts to continually fuel Your Lamp in Jesus’ name. Amen.
