“𝘈 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦—𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳.
𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩; 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨’𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳.”
We know the feeling—long journeys where the final stretch feels the hardest. The body is tired, the heart is weary, and the urge to stop grows stronger. We have all been there. Whether we are pressing through trials or quietly losing strength, the question is not how far we have come, but whether we will hold fast now that we are almost home.
🕮 𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟏𝟎:𝟑𝟕 declares, “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺.” These words were written to believers tempted to shrink back under pressure—to give up, turn back, or loosen their grip. They faced persecution, loss, and uncertainty. Yet God reminds them: the wait is short, and it will not end in defeat. Christ is coming.
“𝘈 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦” does not mean no suffering—it means limited suffering. It may feel long to us, but it is brief in God’s timeline. The early church clung to this promise like a lifeline. Like a runner who sees the stadium lights after miles in darkness, we keep our pace with confidence that Christ is near and our hope is sure.
Scripture calls us to hold fast. “𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨; (𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥;)” (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟏𝟎:𝟐𝟑). “𝘉𝘦 𝘺𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵; 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴: 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩” (𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝟓:𝟖). Our hope rests not in our grip but in His faithfulness.
We are kept, not by our strength, but by His. “𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏:𝟓). Like a weary traveler carried the final mile, we endure because He sustains us. The road may be long, but His grace is longer. The night may stretch, but a new morning is certain.
Christ Himself is our assurance. He said, “I will come again” (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟒:𝟑). His return is not a possibility—it is a promise. One day Christ “𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟗:𝟐𝟖). The One who promised is faithful. He will come though we're not faithful; even if we fail, He remains able.
So, we press on. Our journey is not endless. Don’t quit now—we’re not wandering; we’re almost home. The weight we feel, the battles we fight, and the tears we carry all point to the coming Jesus. Will you hold fast in this final stretch? You don’t need Christ just to start the race—you need Him to finish it. Let today’s step be taken with assurance: we are almost home.
𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, strengthen my heart to hold fast as the finish draws near. Keep my confidence firm, my hope steady, and my eyes fixed on Christ. Remind me that Your promises are sure and that my journey ends in Your presence. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!

When I was younger, we were told the story of Joash repeatedly, and his story was also a popular question in Bible competitions. The Scripture says, “Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem.” This was all I knew: Joash was seven, and he was king. How? I had so many questions and made so many comparisons. I was older than Joash, and the best I had done was win Bible competitions.
However, we weren’t told the entire story. I learned about his achievements, not his failures--about how he was king, not how he failed as one. I have nothing against Joash, Father, but see how strangely a man’s story is told, not in its entirety? Then we are immersed in the knowledge of a man’s successes, confused as to why we are not without failures.
The fall of Joash was, in large way, related to his applause--a child who leads. One of the most invaluable parts of a man’s success is the struggles and risks attached to it. There are struggles that pertain to a field of success, and there are peculiar struggles that apply to individuals. Joash was a victim of the former.
This is a case of responsibility without maturity, particularly in situations where people are made to lead while ignorant of which way to go. I see how this pattern repeats itself across different spheres and levels of life. And more troubling still is how great achievements can blind a man to his own faults, until the very thing that lifted him becomes the ground of his fall.

- The world today is overwhelmed by evil murder, crime, and violence everywhere. This darkness begins in the heart, as
Jeremiah 17:9 reveals that the heart is deceitful. Matthew 15:19 shows that evil actions flow from within. These are signs of the last days described in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. Yet, there is hope God promises a new heart in Ezekiel 36:26. We must guard our hearts as Proverbs 4:23 teaches and overcome evil with good according to Romans 12:21. - Heavenly Father,
In this midnight hour we come before You with reverence and humility. Your Word reminds us that a nation is blessed when it honors and acknowledges You as Lord.
Tonight we lift up the continent of South America, especially the nation of Chile.
Lord, awaken hearts throughout this land to seek You and walk in righteousness. Raise up pastors, evangelists, and faithful believers who will proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness and compassion.
Let the message of salvation reach cities, villages, and communities across this nation. Break every spiritual barrier that prevents people from hearing and receiving the truth of the gospel.
May many people turn to Jesus Christ and experience the forgiveness and new life found in Him.

“𝘐𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥.
𝘈𝘵 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥.”
Sometimes we think a moment will finally make us happy—a promotion, a purchase, a payout, or rewards. We chase joy like a shadow, always just out of reach. Perhaps you are exhausted from pretending to be fine, wondering why the Christian life feels more like duty than delight. Whether secretly disappointed or quietly distressed, the question is not, "Where is joy?" but, "Where are we seeking it?"
🕮 𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟏𝟔:𝟏𝟏 declares, “𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘸 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦: 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘫𝘰𝘺; 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.” David does not point us to possessions but to presence. Joy is not found in what God gives—but in where God is. The path of life leads into His presence.
“𝘍𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴” means complete—overflowing, lacking nothing. Picture a dry well in a barren land: no matter how deep it is, it cannot satisfy without water. So is the soul without God. Activity, success, even ministry cannot fill it. Only His presence satisfies. Prayer is not digging deeper into emptiness, it is coming to the Living Water.
Scripture settles this truth. “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴… 𝘫𝘰𝘺” (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟐𝟐). “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘖𝘙𝘋 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩” (𝐍𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟖:𝟏𝟎). “𝘙𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟒). “𝘛𝘩𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭” (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟗𝟒:𝟏𝟗). Joy is not borrowed from the world nor withdrawn from bank accounts—it is bestowed by God.
The Bible teaches that true joy is a fruit of the Spirit, not a byproduct of our circumstances (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟐𝟐). “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘖𝘙𝘋 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩” (𝐍𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟖:𝟏𝟎). “𝘙𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺: 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺, 𝘙𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟒). “𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭” (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟗𝟒:𝟏𝟗). Joy is not borrowed from the world—it is bestowed by God.
And this joy sustains us. “𝘠𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺” (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏:𝟖). Like a child resting in a father’s arms during a storm, peace is not found in the absence of trouble but in the presence of our Heavenly Father. “𝘞𝘩𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘐 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘦?” (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟕𝟑:𝟐𝟓). When we have Him, we have enough.
We could not enter God’s holy presence on our own. Sin barred the way. Yet “𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥” (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟑:𝟏𝟖). He did not merely show the path of life—He is the giver of life (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟑:𝟏𝟔). Through Him, we are brought near.
Perhaps we have been seeking joy in the wrong places—moments, achievements, escapes. Joy cannot be manufactured; it is found in His presence. You don’t need Christ just to improve your life—you need Him to be your life. Draw near, and discover what your soul has been missing all along.
𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, we confess that we have sought joy in lesser things. Draw us back to Your presence, where true fullness is found. Teach us to delight in You above all. Fill our hearts with the joy that only You can give. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!

- Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we lift up our beloved sister Mercy to You right now as she has been in the hospital since yesterday.
Lord, we come together in unity, asking that in Your infinite mercy, You would stretch out Your healing hand upon her. Touch her body, restore her strength, and remove every sickness and discomfort she is facing.
Father, bring her comfort and peace in this moment. Let Your presence fill her hospital room and remind her that she is not alone. Strengthen her spirit and renew her body day by day.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom over the doctors and nurses caring for her. Guide every decision and treatment toward her full recovery.
We trust in You, Lord, as our healer and sustainer. May Mercy rise from this season stronger, restored, and with a testimony of Your goodness.

Join War Within Group—where real struggles meet real faith. It's a space for healing, faith, and real conversations.Q: What situation is currently testing your faith?
From my heart:
Uncertainty about my future, but I’m choosing to trust God daily… even when I don’t have a stable job, when finances feel overwhelming, and when doors don’t seem to open. In moments of emotional exhaustion and silent battles, I remind myself that God is with me—strengthening me, holding me, and making a way even when I cannot see it.
This season is teaching me to rely on Him not just in words, but in surrender… believing that He will uphold me and never let me fall.
Isaiah 41:10 — "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

- Dear Father,
There was a period in my life when I would afford myself little or no rest until my desires became a reality. Today, I reflected on how the answers to my previous prayer requests have now become prayer requests themselves, often in the form of deliverance from where I once prayed to be. I believe it is okay when change is motivated by the need for growth, but how do we give meaning to the restlessness and quiet dissatisfaction, of staying in places we once prayed so hard to be? Is this how growth presents itself, or were my ambitions faulty?
Prophet Isaiah testifies to this when he said, “The twilight I longed for has become a horror to me.” This realization has humbled me in my pursuit of new goals. Now, I find myself seeking answers to every ambition as intensely as I would pursue them.
I have come to realize that every new prayer request flows from a place of purpose alignment. I sought to align my ambitions with eternal values, and I found fulfillment in every answered prayer that reflected that purpose. For instance, my desire to build schools was driven by the need for influence. I desired wealth when I perceived the need for warfare globally and its impact on kingdom values. I sought knowledge so that, through freely giving, ignorance might be eradicated.
Wealth took on a meaning beyond status. Certifications became more than symbols. Assets became more than luxury. I began to pray differently when I discovered purpose.

- Keith Hobkirk has requested I share the following prayer needs for China: “April 12 - This week, pray for the needs of the people of Xiantan. Pray for the church to be a Christlike witness to their friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members.
April 13 - A pastor in Xiangtan speaks about how improved transportation has actually made things difficult for the city’s economy: "Around 2023, the transit connections among Xiangtan, Changsha, and Zhuzhou reopened, creating a half-hour living circle between Xiangtan and the other two cities. This has also led to a great deal of population loss, because Changsha and Zhuzhou have more job opportunities, and many young people are moving in both directions. That has also contributed to Xiangtan’s economic decline, because companies cannot recruit enough workers." Pray for people who will invest in Xiangtan, that it may be a city that flourishes for the good of all its citizens. Pray also for more care for those who are struggling in the poor economy.
April 14 - A Xiangtan pastor says, "Campus ministry has shrunk and been restricted. The church cannot enter campuses or communities, and even social charity activities are hard to organize in the church’s name, because we are considered an illegal church and cannot operate in that way." Pray for more creative ways for churches to love and witness to students in the name of Christ.
April 15 - A pastor in Xiangtan says, "Schools maintain constant pressure, and students feel they must study hard and are deeply repressed. Many young people have depression and emotional heaviness. When we interact with them, we find that if we only try to reason with them, they feel annoyed. To build relationships takes a great deal of time and energy, and for ministry today that is a huge challenge." Pray for students in Xiangtan who are struggling with depression or who are overwhelmed by school. Pray that the church can be a source of comfort and peace for them, that they will be able to build deep relationships with students and show them the hope of Christ.
April 16 - "After the pandemic," says one Xiangtan pastor, "people have become more and more guarded. Before, we could hand out Gospel tracts on the street or give small gifts. Now none of that can really be done. On the one hand, the government restricts it and does not allow it. On the other hand, people are guarded, and there are too many scammers. If you kindly offer someone a small gift, they will throw it away because they are afraid." Pray that the Holy Spirit would overcome the spirit of fear and suspicion in Xiangtan, that the lost would find the hope of Christ.
April 17 - "Right now there is an online culture," says one pastor in Xiangtan. "Especially among those born after 2000, the culture places a high value on personal entertainment, while social and outdoor activity have greatly decreased. When we try to reach them, we discover cultural challenges, and they are not willing to participate. It is hard to enter their world. They have their own circles and electronic entertainment, which gives a high level of stimulation to the brain, so when they hear the Gospel, it feels too traditional and too old-fashioned. They also have a desire for novelty and a tendency to tire quickly of things." Pray that the gospel will break through the overemphasis on entertainment, that young people in Xiangtan would be aware of their own deep longings and that in Christ they would find the rest that their restless hearts seek.
April 18 - A sister in Xiangtan says, "In this age of rampant material desire, together with the culture of the city, people are especially drawn to eating, drinking, entertainment, and pleasure. They feel they do not have time for Jesus. They want to have fun, play mahjong, and pursue whatever brings profit. Some time ago there was a woman here who actually came to church for a period of time, but her heart never really seemed to come in. She said that going to church brings no payoff, no visible benefit, whereas playing mahjong does, and people drift in those things day after day. It is very hard, really very hard, to shepherd and support them." Pray for gospel depth in Xiangtan, that people would not see the gospel as transactional or expect a worldly "payoff," but would rather be captured by the beauty and goodness of the gospel vision.“Keith Hobkirk has requested I share the following prayer needs for China: “April 12 - This week, pray for the needs of the people of Xiantan. “𝘛𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦.
𝘐’𝘮 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘏𝘪𝘮, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘺 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦.”
Thirty days. Thirty steps. One defining decision. Some choices demand everything—like a soldier stepping onto the battlefield, a bride walking down the aisle, or a believer surrendering all to Christ. These are not halfway moments. They require full commitment. Whether we are wrestling with surrender or longing for deeper devotion, the question is not how much we give but about whether we are truly all in.
Paul declares in 🕮 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟐:𝟐𝟎, “𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵: 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘐 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦; 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘐, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘦…” This is not partial devotion—it is total transformation. The old life is crucified, and a new life begins, not centered on self but on Christ. We cannot live a part-time Christian and expect full-time blessings.
To be “𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵” means our old identity, desires, and self-rule are put to death. This is not self-improvement—it is a full exchange. “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘐 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘐 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥.” The Christian life is not powered by our pace but by His grace. Like a branch abiding in the vine (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟓:𝟓), we live because He lives in us.
Scripture confirms this truth. “𝘐𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦” (𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏𝟕). “𝘠𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥” (𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟑:𝟑). God does not call us to try harder—He calls us to surrender fully. “𝘠𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥” (𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟑). “𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦” (𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟐:𝟏).
Yet this surrendered life is not empty—it is empowered. “𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘦.” “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏:𝟐𝟏). “𝘠𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯” (𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟗–𝟐𝟎). Like a glove that can do nothing without the hand inside it, we find our “𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘗𝘢𝘤𝘦” only when Christ fills every step. “𝘈𝘣𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶” (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟓:𝟒).
The “𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘐𝘯” life is the only reasonable response to the Christ who went “𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯” for us. He “𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦” (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟐:𝟐𝟎). He held nothing, no hesitation, and no reservation. The cross was not partial—the sacrifice was complete. And the One who gave all is worthy of all.
So, Are you all in? Have you held back any part of your life from Him? Is there anything you're still holding, any area you haven't surrendered? You don’t need Christ just to improve your life—you need Him to be your life. The old steps are gone. The new pace has come. He gave Himself for you. Lay it down, go all in, and walk with Christ fully, faithfully, forever.
𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, I surrender all that I am to You. Teach me to die to self and live fully in Christ. Take every part of my life and use it for Your glory. Let Christ live in me, and let my life reflect His power and grace. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!
