    SPIRITUAL GIFTS AND MINISTRIES

God bestows upon all members of His church in every age spiritual gifts that each member is to employ in loving ministry for the common good of the church and of humanity. Given by the agency of the Holy Spirit, who apportions to each member as He wills, the gifts provide all abilities and ministries needed by the church to fulfill its divinely ordained functons. According to the Scriptures, these gifts include such ministries as faith, healing, prophecy, proclamation, teaching, administration, reconciliation, compassion, and self-sacrificing service and charity for the help and encouragement of people. Some members are called of God and endowed by the Spirit for functions recognized by the church in pastoral, evangelistic, and teaching ministries particularly needed to equip the members for service, to build up the church to spiritual maturity, and to foster unity of the faith and knowledge of God. When members employ these spiritual gifts as faithful stewards of God’s varied grace, the church is protected from the destructive influence of false doctrine, grows with a growth that is from God, and is built up in faith and love.

  • Kingdom Authority and Power — What You've Been Given | Born Again in Today's World Day 3 | Kingdom Living

You got saved. You got a new identity. You started renewing your mind. Now it's time to find out what you're carrying.

Day 3 of the "Born Again in Today's World" series picks up where the morning training on Philipsburg Live and God's Love Live left off and goes DEEP into the authority and power that every Kingdom citizen has been given — and why most believers never use it. We break down the difference between exousia (delegated authority — the RIGHT to act) and dunamis (supernatural power — the ABILITY to act) — and why you need both. We walk through Peter and John at the Beautiful Gate, the seventy-two returning with joy, and the moment Jesus told His disciples He saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

Then we bring it to the break room, the drive-through, and the drive home— because Kingdom authority that only works inside the church building isn't Kingdom authority at all.

Fair warning: you will laugh, you will get convicted, and you will never look at a 120-pound police officer the same way again.

  • DAILY BIBLE LESSON.
MISUNDERSTOOD VERSES USED AGAINST THE HEALTH MESSAGE.

Please, share this study with your family, friends co-workers, and all who you can, for the expansion of the Kingdom of GOD.

There are a number of Bible verses that many Christians use to "support" their meat eating (including Biblical "unclean" meat), and which they use against the health message. Let's examine the verses in question.

    1. Matthew 15:11 ...'Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.'

If we simply take the whole chapter in context, it can be easily seen that what Jesus is talking about is the Pharisees rules on eating with unwashed hands. And although Jesus is not saying that eating with dirty hands is ok. He is merely pointing out that the Pharisees placed more importance on these ritual rules than they did on love. So Jesus is teaching a "heart" issue, in that what comes from the heart is that which really makes a person "evil", not what goes into the stomach.

    2. Acts 10:10-13 ...'And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.'

This is such a well known misunderstood piece of scripture that many Christians use to "validate" their eating of unclean animals. And yet the meaning of the vision is clearly given within the context. Now let's say that the vision DID mean we can now eat anything. Shall we now start eating dogs, cats, rats, horses and such like? Do Christians eat such things? Of course not. And yet they use this verse to support their eating of pigs and other Biblically unclean flesh. Peter even said himself after the vision ... 'Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.' ... He was shocked and troubled by this vision. Why? Because he couldn't believe that God would now pronounce all unclean animals and insects as ok to eat.

So what does this vision REALLY mean? ... Acts 10:28,34,35 ...'And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any MAN common or unclean ... Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.'

Through this vision, God was basically showing Peter that ALL PEOPLE who fear God and do His will are accepted ("clean"). So why did God use a vision to do with eating? Maybe because as verse 10 says, Peter was very hungry before he had the vision. Also in the vision, God spoke THREE times, saying that what He had cleansed, Peter should not call common. Why THREE times? Because THREE NON-JEWS then came to see Peter to take him to Cornelius.

    3. 1 Timothy 4:4 ...'For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving.'

Again, if we read in context, we can see that in verses 1-3 it says ... 'in the latter times some shall depart from the faith ... Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron ... Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats.' ... Some say that this is speaking about the Adventist church. But note, Paul is saying that these "individuals" teaching to abstain from meats also teach not to marry. The Adventist church does not forbid marriage, but rather promotes marriage between a man and woman. On the other hand, the Roman Catholic church does forbid eating foods on certain holiday celebrations and forbids marriage through it's institutions of the nuns and priests.

Please also notice this important point ... The word "meats" in verse 3 simply means FOOD. When the Bible is talking about animal meat, it says "flesh". But when talking about non-flesh food, it uses the word "meat". For example, in Genesis 1:29 God tells Adam and Eve what He has created for them to eat ... 'every herb bearing seed and the fruit of the tree yielding seed'. And what does God call this food in Genesis 1:29? MEAT. So going back to verse 3 of Timothy above, what "meat" has God CREATED to be received with thanksgiving? Food of the earth. Because God did NOT create animals to be killed and eaten. That was not His plan.

Also, did you notice that in verse 4 it says 'every CREATURE of God is good.'? The word Creature simply means "thing founded" or "created thing". So if "creature" in this verse means anything other than natural products of the earth which God created for us to eat, then people will HAVE to include every crawling thing upon the face of the earth .. INCLUDING HUMANS! So, is it ok to eat rats, spiders, dogs, cats, and people? Is cannibalism now approved? After all, Mark 16:15 says ... 'Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.'

The only logical conclusion is that Paul is talking about those who would forbid the eating of foods that God originally created for our diet.

1 Timothy 4:5...'For it is sanctified by the word of God AND prayer.'

How is food sanctified (made holy for us to eat)? NOT just by prayer which many Christians seem to believe. But rather by the Word of God AND prayer. Now, where in the Bible is unclean meat like pig, camel, mice, bats, eagle sanctified? Where?!

    4. Romans 14:2-3 ...'For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.'

Now let's look at what Paul said in chapter 12:1 ...'I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.' ... Do you really think that Paul would plead with us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and then turn around and suggest that eating anything, even those things that HARM our bodies is ok? I don't think so. Again, if Paul IS suggesting that eating all things is ok, then you must include ALL THINGS, dogs, cats, rats, horses, etc. Would this be acceptable to God? No way! So what is Paul saying above in chapter 14?

The context of the point Paul is putting across is to do with "those who are weak in the faith". That is, one who has but a limited grasp of the principles of righteousness. He is eager to be saved and is willing to do whatever he believes is required of him. But in the immaturity of his Christian experience and probably also as the result of former education and belief, he attempts to make his salvation more certain by the observance of certain rules and regulations (ceremonial laws) that are in reality not binding upon him. To him these regulations assume great importance. He regards them as absolutely binding upon him for salvation, and he is distressed and confused when he sees other Christians about him, especially those who seem to be more experienced, who do not share his assumptions.

In Corinthians the problem is identified in the practice of eating foods sacrificed to idols. According to the ancient practice, pagan priests carried on an extensive merchandise of the animal sacrifices offered to idols. Paul told the Corinthian believers, which were converts from both Judaism and Paganism that inasmuch as an idol was nothing, there was no wrong, so to speak, in eating foods dedicated to it. However, he explains, because there were some who were beginners in the faith and still fairly weak, and could not with a free conscience eat such foods, Paul urged those who were stronger in the faith not to place a stumbling block in a brother's way by indulging in those foods. And Probably for fear of offending in this matter some Christians abstained from flesh foods (Biblically clean meat) entirely, which means that their food was restricted to "herbs", that is, vegetables.

So what is meant by "all things"? All things that are sanctified (pronounced clean, as per Levitical laws) by the Word of God. Does the Word of God pronounce dogs, cats, pigs and wild beasts as clean to eat? No.

If people would only take the WHOLE of God's Word in context, they would see the clear truth of the matter. God is trying to draw men back to the original plan in the Garden of Eden. And He wants a people in the last days who are living according to that original plan. This is the message of the three angels of Revelation 14. A message of turning away from the world and Babylon's deceptions, and returning back to God. The messages point us to our Creator. And how were we made? We were made in the image of God. So should we act and live in the image of God. This is the health message. Please bring glory to God in all you do.

  • Dear Father,

When I was younger, we were told the story of Joash repeatedly, and his story was also a popular question in Bible competitions. The Scripture says, “Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem.” This was all I knew: Joash was seven, and he was king. How? I had so many questions and made so many comparisons. I was older than Joash, and the best I had done was win Bible competitions.

However, we weren’t told the entire story. I learned about his achievements, not his failures--about how he was king, not how he failed as one. I have nothing against Joash, Father, but see how strangely a man’s story is told, not in its entirety? Then we are immersed in the knowledge of a man’s successes, confused as to why we are not without failures.

The fall of Joash was, in large way, related to his applause--a child who leads. One of the most invaluable parts of a man’s success is the struggles and risks attached to it. There are struggles that pertain to a field of success, and there are peculiar struggles that apply to individuals. Joash was a victim of the former.

This is a case of responsibility without maturity, particularly in situations where people are made to lead while ignorant of which way to go. I see how this pattern repeats itself across different spheres and levels of life. And more troubling still is how great achievements can blind a man to his own faults, until the very thing that lifted him becomes the ground of his fall.

  • Put Your House in Order

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, today we are reminded of a powerful truth spoken in the Word of God and taught by Jesus Christ: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” In Luke chapter 11 verse 17, it is written that “every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.” This is not just about buildings. This is about your life, your family, your spirit, and your calling.

When there is division—confusion, inconsistency, hidden struggles—your foundation becomes weak. Mark chapter 3 verse 25 makes it clear: “if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Not that it might fall, not that it could fall—but it cannot stand. You cannot speak faith but live in doubt. You cannot preach love but carry bitterness. You cannot lead others while you are broken within. A divided heart will always produce a divided life. That is why First Corinthians chapter 14 verse 33 reminds us that “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” So if confusion is present, then something is out of order.

Many people today want the pulpit before the process. They want ministry before maturity. But God is saying, “Start at home.” And when we speak about your house, we are not just talking about a physical place—we are talking about your character, your habits, your private life, and your relationships. First Timothy chapter 3 verse 5 asks a serious question: “For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?” Before God lifts you publicly, He works on you privately. What you build in secret is what will sustain you in public.

That is why the command in Isaiah chapter 38 verse 1 is so direct: “Set thine house in order.” There are things in your life that must be fixed. There are areas that must be aligned. There are wounds that must be healed. You cannot skip this process. Even Jesus teaches us in Matthew chapter 7 verse 5, “First cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” In other words, deal with yourself first. Alignment within produces effectiveness without.

When your house is in order, something powerful begins to happen. Your prayer becomes effective. Your voice carries authority. Your ministry produces fruit. Why? Because there is alignment. There is no contradiction between who you are at home and who you are outside. And that is where power flows. Psalm 127 verse 1 says, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.” You can try to build in your own strength, but if God is not at the center, it will not stand.

You are called—yes. But calling alone is not enough. Preparation is necessary. Even those who were used greatly were first prepared deeply. God is saying today, “Fix what is broken. Align what is scattered. Heal what is wounded.” Because your calling is too important to be carried by a divided life.

So today, ask yourself: what in my life is out of order? Where am I divided? What needs to be surrendered? This is not condemnation—this is correction for elevation. God is not rejecting you. He is preparing you. That is why the prayer of David in Psalm 51 verse 10 must become your prayer: “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

And as you begin to align your life, as you begin to surrender every area to God, you will discover that you are no longer weak, no longer unstable, no longer divided. You will stand. Not just for a moment—but for a lifetime.

So lift your heart and say, “Lord, put my house in order. Align my heart, my mind, and my life. Make me whole, so I can serve You effectively. Remove every division within me. Build me up, so I may stand the test of time.”

A divided house may look strong—but it will fall. An ordered life may take time—but it will stand. So before you go out to change the world, before you step fully into your calling, before you seek to impact others…

Let God first organize your house.

  • One major trait of spiritual immaturity is picking up random theology randomly on social media. You will keep digging an endless hole for yourself. Have a local church and be pastored richly . Keep it focused and simple.

  • REPRESENTING THE KINGDOM

    Main Text: Matthew 28:19–20

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

    INTRODUCTION

    Week 1: Authority was given
    Week 2: Dominion was restored
    Week 3: Authority over darkness

Now Week 4 answers the final question:

    “WHY were we given authority?”

Because authority is not for position…

    It is for purpose

God never gives authority just to impress people…

He gives authority to expand His Kingdom

    1. YOU ARE AN AMBASSADOR OF THE KINGDOM

    According to 2 Corinthians 5:20:

    “We are ambassadors for Christ…”

    What is an Ambassador?

    An ambassador:

    Represents a king
Speaks on behalf of a kingdom
    Carries authority of another nation

    This means:

    You don’t represent yourself
    You represent Heaven on earth
    Powerful Truth:

    Wherever you go…

    The Kingdom goes with you

    In your home
    In your workplace
    In your city
    2. AUTHORITY COMES WITH ASSIGNMENT

    Jesus said:
    “Go therefore…”

That word “therefore” connects to authority

    Because you have authority—now GO

    Truth:

    Authority without action becomes useless

    Many believers:

    Know the Word
    Feel anointed

But they are not going anywhere

    God is saying today:

    “Stop sitting—start going”

    3. THE MISSION: EXPAND THE KINGDOM

    Jesus gave a clear assignment:

    “Make disciples of all nations”

    This means:
    Win souls
    Teach truth
    Raise disciples
    Transform lives
    Important:

You are not called just to attend church…

You are called to build the Kingdom

    4. REPRESENT THE KING THROUGH YOUR LIFE

An ambassador must reflect the king properly

    This includes:
    1. Your Character
    Integrity
    Humility
    Holiness
    2. Your Words
    Speak life
    Speak truth
    Speak authority
    3. Your Lifestyle
    Live what you preach
    Be an example

    You cannot represent Heaven…

    And live like the world

    5. AUTHORITY WITHOUT RESPONSIBILITY IS DANGEROUS

God does not give authority without expecting maturity

    Many want:
    Power
    Anointing
    Influence

    But they don’t want responsibility

    Truth:

    If you misuse authority…

    You lose effectiveness

    6. YOUR ENVIRONMENT SHOULD CHANGE BECAUSE OF YOU

When a true Kingdom ambassador enters a place:

    Things shift

    Darkness decreases
    Peace increases
    Truth is established
    Ask yourself:
Is my home changing because of me?
Is my workplace influenced by me?
Are people seeing Christ in me?
    7. YOU ARE SENT, NOT JUST SAVED

    Many believers think:
    “I am saved, that’s enough”

    But Jesus says:
    “GO”

    Powerful Statement:

You are not just a believer…

    You are a sent one

    Just like Jesus was sent:

You are sent into the world

    ILLUSTRATION

A light bulb does not shine for itself…

    It shines to remove darkness

    In the same way:

You are not saved for yourself

You are saved to impact others

    PRACTICAL APPLICATION

    This week:

    1. Be intentional
    Share the Gospel
    Encourage someone
    Pray for others
    2. Represent Christ boldly
    Don’t hide your faith
    Stand firm in truth
    3. Influence your environment
    Bring peace into chaos
    Speak life into situations

    FINAL DECLARATION

“Father, in the name of Jesus,
    I receive my assignment.
I am an ambassador of the Kingdom.
    I will not stay silent.
I will go where You send me.
I will represent You with boldness.
Use my life for Your glory.
    In Jesus’ name—Amen!”

This is not the end of this series…

This is the beginning of a movement

    Authority has been given
    Dominion has been restored
    Darkness has been defeated

    Now the Kingdom must expand

    PROPHETIC

    “You will not remain ordinary…
    You will walk in authority…
    You will impact nations…
You will expand the Kingdom of God!”
