As it is, this is literally unreviewable. However, it looks like all of your changes are encapsulated in the final commit. Is that right, or did I miss something?

Is this the stuff you've been running on madrid?

Yeah, that's correct. Everything I've changed is in the last commit for getting things to build on illumos and to get all the upstream CI checks to pass.

I have been running madrid based on artifacts produced by this compiler build.
