Keeping Active Guides
If physical activity were a drug, we would refer to it as a miracle cure, due to the great many illnesses it can prevent and help treat.
Physical activity is not only good for your body, it's also great for your mind. Moving more can really benefit your health and how you feel.
Keeping Active guides are available for each Doncaster locality (south, north, east and central Doncaster) and contain advice about moving more, including how much and how often, plus lots of information about opportunities and ideas to be more active where you live, at home, when travelling and at work.
Resources

The guides were piloted (with support from Primary Care Doncaster) in all Doncaster localities between 2024-25. Feedback from these pilots was used to inform the updated version of the guides, available above.
A limited number of physical copies of the guides will be made available in communities in spring 2026. More details about this will be made available in due course.
