There are many jobs which are already very active, however if you have a job that involves sitting or standing without moving very often, you could have a think about how you might be able to build in more activity into your working day. This might include things like:
- Taking the stairs instead of the lift
- Having a short walk during your break time
- Having a walking meeting rather than sitting at a desk
- Setting up regular reminders to stand, stretch and move around for a few minutes.
You might also like to think about how you travel to and from work, and whether you might be able to fit moving more into this part of your day.
