Well, I went to Pharmaca and B & N on Tuesday after my meeting with CS and bought a bunch of books and magazines on fibromyalgia to educate myself. CS seems to believe the fibromyalgia is my biggest problem right now (vs. depression).
The book published by the Arthritis Foundation seems to cover the basics on fibro and has worksheets, which I like filling out. I also got a workbook, a phrase book, a dictionary, and CDs to help me learn Mandarin in preparation for going to Shanghai. That's a little scary.
When I got home, I told Lyle I just spent A LOT of money at the bookstore. He asked, "How much, a thousand?" I smiled and told him "Yes ;)" He said it was fine as long as it will help make me feel better. What?!
I didn't spend a thousand dollars, but I felt bad splurging on all the items I bought. Then Lyle asks for the receipt so he can expense all the items I bought to learn Chinese and about the city of Shanghai.
Me: "We can do that?"
Lyle: "Of course. It's because of work [that we're going over there]."
Oh. That's nice ^_^! I don't feel AS bad now.
