Fishbone and Pepper are running around right now and I’m using the laptop to write while I keep an eye on the two of them to make sure they don’t get aggressive. Pepper is behaving rather timid and Fishbone is very curious about Pepper, but he keeps hopping away. Sometimes Pepper follows Fishbone, but if Fishbone turns around, he starts hopping away again. Pepper is also leaving a trail of poop behind him, though not as much as he does at Brian’s-he, he. Having them out together really emphasizes the size difference between them. I think I was wrong about Fishbone being twice the size of Pepper. It’s probably more like two and a half to three times bigger. I’m really glad Fishbone isn’t acting aggressively. Pepper is also probably either too timid or too young to be pursuing Fishbone in a sexual manner (thank goodness!). He’s so different from Pecha, who was always trying to mate with anyone available, even stuffed toys.

I need to make sure Brian pays more attention to Pepper. Pepper is not very used to humans or any sort of contact it seems. Brian, pet and touch Pepper in a loving manner more! At least an hour of petting and direct interacting is necessary everyday to create trust, not just letting the bunny out to run and watching it run around. It’ll get bored quickly like that. Oh, and two more hours of free run on top of that too.

Today's a 6.5 =)

La, la, la. I’m feeling at about a 6.5 right now on my mood scale, better than usual. :) I’m sipping green tea in the cute cup Mom got me yesterday at Crate and Barrel. My goals for today were: 1. wake up at 9:30am and 2. do my laundry. Well, I failed miserably on #1, but I finally did my laundry after 3 weeks of being too tired to do it. I like doing my laundry because I like being out in the sun to hang my clothes out to dry. I also love the smell of sun-dried laundry and feeling the warmth of the clothes after I take them down to fold before I put them away. I even did a tiny bit of gardening today. That always feels good. Last night I went to bed around 1:30am after being awake for about 40 hours. Funny how I didn’t feel more tired than usual even though I was awake for that long. If I didn’t take my sleeping meds, I‘m not sure if I would have been able to fall asleep that early—not sure what that means for me. Whatever the case, I’m glad I’m feeling how I feel right now (savor the moment!).

BUNNIES, BUNNIES, BUNNIES. I held Pepper and pet him for half and hour and clipped all of his nails. They were getting kind of long. He jumped off of me onto the kitchen table and hopped across the newspaper Mom was reading. Then he hopped onto the pile of past newspapers and onto the table where all the pens are. The Minnie Mouse doll that was sitting innocently on the next table was his next target. He circled the doll, groomed himself a little, and found his prey: the paper tag attached to Minnie’s ear. Munch, munch, munch. I quickly went over and picked him up before he could do more damage to Minnie. Minnie sat there smiling her smile. When I put him back into his cage, he waited eagerly for his yogurt drop, so I ran up the stairs to steal one of Fishbone’s. She heard the familiar yogurt drop rattling sound and expectantly looked at me. What the heck, I gave her one too. Pepper was still waiting for me when I got back and he was rewarded for his patience (?). Aah, I love bunnies :)
