I have a rabbit on my foot. He is warm :). Uh-oh, now he is digging the carpet. Keeper has been very cranky today. He even started to chew on plastic, which he hasn't done before. Not sure why. Earlier, Mr. Jones was trapped in the bedroom for 15 min when he followed Lyle in there. The door closed behind him and Lyle didn't notice that Mr. Jones was in the room with him. When I went looking for him, I found him sitting by the door just looking at it. Lyle's comment afterwards: "Oh, so that's what all that scratching noise was." Haha. Fishbone has been sedate. Very understandable since she's recovering from surgery. She doesn't like taking her medicine. I wouldn't either; it doesn't smell or look very appetizing.
I have some new ideas for Mom's store sign. I woke up today feeling rested. That hasn't happenend in months!! YEAH!! It's a beautiful day, the air clean-feeling because it rained last night.
Yesterday's adventure: Drove to the San Francico animal shelter to pick up 2 rabbits to transport to Capitola. A family in Monterey wanted to adopt them pronto. I met Susan H. in the parking lot in front of the K-mart and Safeway at highway 1 and 41st street. She was in a hurry to take them to Monterey, so I didn't get to talk to her much. Too bad, I wanted to know more about her. I asked if she was the same Susan I emailed a few times back and forth, but she wasn't. So many Susans helping out bunnies ;)
After the bunny transport and "transaction" I drove to Mom's store. She was pretty busy with customers for a couple of hours so I kept myself occupied by thinking some more about the sign design and getting inspirations from the greeting cards in her store. An Indian woman named Monica brought in her photographs to be framed. I talked with her about the job market and stuff. I felt a little like I was Mom's sales person because I found myself making small talk to keep Monica feeling comfortable and occupied while Mom worked on her photos. I also helped another customer with her framed shadowbox artwork. I liked feeling useful :P
