Seri came home a day earlier than expected, so Mom was very happy. She didn't seem upset at all when I asked Seri to relay the message that I wouldn't be coming home until Thursday. I was relieved. Tonight everyone will be back home except me. Two nights ago I started drawing, ...if tracing out basic shapes could be called that. I'm looking forward to reaching the coloring phase--but I must finish outlining the individual chain links first=be patient! I put in batteries for the mini lightbox I got at Bic Camera in Sapporo last night. Yippee, it works. I can see the chain links better now. I've also been trying to remember where the heck I put my preliminary drawing for the pen and ink pelican drawing I did. I want to do the same pelican, but in water color or colored pencils. Maybe it's in one of my portfolio folder/case? Unfortunately, it's probably back at home, so I'll have to spend some time rummaging through my room when I'm down there tomorrow. Lyle says we should leave around 2pm, so I'll have time to do that before our family "Thanksgiving" dinner. Lyle is still not well :( I wish I could do something to help speed up his recovery. The weather's been dreary lately and I haven't skated for a week and a half. The weather is one reason, but I feel too tired to anyway. Lazy bum. I guess I'll try to "draw" a little now.
