My appetite is still pretty big, though slowly waning. I feel like such a pig :P I got to go walking by Lyle's work and apartment (by the water's edge) and saw 5 windsurfers and 2 people surfing with what looked to me like HUGE kite-like things. That was neat. There are white-crowned sparrows in the area and that always brings a smile :) Oh, yeah, I saw a bird on the highest post of a group of posts in the middle of the water between Lyle's work place and his apartment as I started walking. I kept my eye on it when I could to see if the bird would stay there while I walked around and could get closer. It seemed like a cormorant, but I wasn't sure--secretly, I was hoping I was mistaken and it was a pelican. Unfortunately, a large seagull flew down and scared it off the post when I finally reached the point where I could get a better view.
