I feel weird. Not sure how to describe it. I got up at 10:30am (wow for me) and went to the DMV with Dinky. Took 20-30 min after I rang the bell for someone to come out of the building to check Dinky over, so I was 10 min late for my DMV appointment inside. Too bad, I though I gave myself enough time before the appointment to have Dinks "verified." Finally, got the license plates though :) They're so bright and sparkling almost! I've called the car insurance people also--just waiting to hear back from them to change my status to "active." Seems like Dinky and I can go places again (like Big Basin)!!

After that, I updated my site jokes and vocab. Mom wanted to run some errands, so I drove. We ate lunch at Sushi Kuni first though. I walked with Mom too later in the day. Right now I'm around 8400 steps. Yesterday I was able to do around 12,000 steps.

I feel bad about not getting Yuhi's stuff done as I said I would. Not too thrilled at having to translate the Potawatomi Indians book, but it'll do me good in the long run I suppose. I'm upset that I wasn't able to do it earlier as I had hoped--haven't had enough energy or wasn't in the right mood, etc...bunch of excuses. At Kathy's, tonight, I did do some, but it sure takes me a long time because I have to look up almost every kanji character to make sure it's right. How embarrassing if the Japanese I write wasn't written correctly :P Oh, well, not much I can do tonight for that one. I'll have to get my butt moving tomorrow night or the day after.
