Yesterday was a good day. I stayed awake the whole day and the last thing I did before going to bed was draw. Well sort of draw. I redid the layout of Brian's new apartment. I really like doing things like that. It's weird how I get satisfaction from drawing lines just right. I need to photocopy it and give it to Brian.
Today, as I often do, I woke up so tired. It's 3:30pm and I still feel tired and sleepy. Dad called me from Sunnyvale to ask me to help him build a fence. I had finally mustered enough energy to go over and help him when he came home. He said he would call again, so I wasn't expecting that. He doesn't seem to care much about the fence anymore. I don't know whether to be relieved or annoyed. I'm glad I don't have to help today when I don't feel well, but I'm annoyted that I put so much effort to get myself out of bed and mentally prepared to tolerate what I knew would be an unpleasant experience and then find out it was for nothing. He made it sound like it needed to be done today :(
Fishbone is very affectionate today too. She was running around upstairs for over an hour this morning. Now she seems sleepy. In the tropical fish tank, the orange and white barb was viciously chasing and biting the kissing gourmy (sp?) so my Mom, who likes the docile "kissy," told me to catch it in the fish net and leave it in the net for awhile. That's where it is now, swimming around in the net, still trying to attack the fish around it. Oh, yeah, yesterday, we returned the two cichlids because they were taking chunks of fin off the plecho.
I went to the bookstores in Mt.View after dinner last night with Mom. There was a mountain biking calendar and sculpture calender. Mom bought the sculpture calendar for Aiko. I need to tell Brian about the mountain biking one. I forgot that I have nearly $90 in store credit there. Hmmm. Guess I'll be going there again soon, maybe even tonight after the pizza dinner with Kevin, Jason, and Seri. Would Brian be willing to go to that I wonder. Maybe I can tempt him with the pizza and calendar. I doubt it though.
I hope I draw the camellia by the front door sometime soon.
