A day to match my mood.

It's raining, raining, raining. The sky's have been gray these past few days. It's pouring pretty hard for this area. I'm on the phone with Brian. We're both feeling lazy, so we'll talk again later to see if we want to do something outside our homes.

Yesterday I felt down too, so I sat at Seri's computer to transfer my 1998 photo files from the Kodak floppies to my Zip disk. It's a good way to pass time mindlessly. At 4:40 after playing with Fishbone, I drove to Kathy's. We went to Berekeley with Carlo. First we ate dinner at Thai House (yummy), then we headed over to Freight and Salvage Cafe to wait at the door for M-Pact. We had pretty good seats since we got in right when the doors opened at 7:30pm. It was worth the short wait out in the drizzle.

M-Pact made me laugh. All of the members had great talent and voices, but one of them had a voice that made me tingle when he sang his solo about the "one power." They'll play in Davis and Fremont in the coming weeks. I wonder if I'll go to see them again. I should ask Kizuki-san if he wants to go. Oh, I forgot to ask Kathy for her M-Pact CDs. I was tempted to buy them onsite, but I resisted the urge (yay for me).

Isn't it illogical that we go through the day without thinking that we might be dead before the day is over? Is this a survival mechanism so we don't drive ourselves insane worrrying about it?
