Profile Updates on Your Website
The profile widget is embedded onto any page on your website and your members can log into their profile directly from your site. They use a single email and password to access all of our features, including their profile.
You Control What Can be Updated
Every field in Membee is available on the member profile so you have field-by-field control over which fields are allowed to be visible and editable. A field can be activated with a simple checkbox, saved, and immediately display when the member accesses their profile.
All Changes are Documented
Membee automatically adds a note-to-file to the member’s record each time they update their profile on your website. This note details the date, time, the IP address they were located when they update their member information, and the old and new values that were updated.
Manage Person or Company Profiles
Whether it’s a person’s personal information or a company’s information, it can be updated through the profile!
Certain contacts can be given administrative rights to the company’s profile, allowing limited contacts to update the information.
Create Custom Sections
Membee has an abundance of categorization and custom fields. You can create custom sections that make it easy to group important fields together and add a title or descriptive text to the section so members know the importance of the fields.
Manage Their Login
A member’s login credentials are often an important aspect of their membership. Members can self-manage their login right from within their member profile including the ability to change their password or switch to using their social network credentials to access “members only” features.
Manage Their Credit Card
Membee’s Card Vault feature makes it easy for you to permit members to store and reuse their credit card for future event registrations or even to automatically renew their membership using their credit card. Members can self-manage their card preferences and control when it’s used without contacting you!
Upload Files or Documents
If supplying a document(s) to you is an important part of a member maintaining their membership then you will activate the file upload capability in the member profile. You can create a new section with details of what to upload and when new documents are received, Membee will notify you via email.
Organizations Can Manage Their Contacts
If your membership contains members that are companies, organizations, or institutions, then you have the added challenge to track their contacts- no problem. Members can manage their own list of contacts and even allow the organization to designate a person to manage the organization’s profile or the profiles of fellow contacts.
Order Sections
Membee’s “drag & drop” interface makes it easy to arrange the sections of the member profile in the order you want. Simply move all the important and core information at the top and the less important information at the bottom.
User Notifications
Membee keeps you in the loop while it does all the work. You specify which of your Membee subscribers are notified when member profile changes occur. Notifications can be sent by Membee each time a member profile is updated if you like but a best practice here is to have Membee notify you say once per week and list all of the profile updates in a single email.

Of course Membee’s Profile widget has a responsive design so your members can manage their profile on the go from any mobile device.
