Some say sex and gender are different. They say gender is a construct and a spectrum, and claim that people can ‘identify as’ any gender they like. Yet for most of history, sex and gender have been synonymous, and this new idea has started to cause confusion. What has changed? People are either male or female, which are two sexes. Yes, behavioral constructs have developed that are traits commonly associated with either one sex or the other. People of either sex can exhibit the behavioral traits of the other; it is possible to call a man feminine or a woman masculine. This is quite natural, because we are all born from both a male and a female and can exhibit both physical and behavioral traits from both parents. Does sharing in these masculine-feminine traits give us the ability to identify as the sex we were not born as? No. There is absolutely no reason to regard someone as a sex they are not based on behavioral, and in some cases physical, observations. Sex is deeply physiological, leading to the creation of sexual organs and other bodily variances. There is no reason to mutilate and chemically interfere with a person’s natural development as a ‘solution’ to appease ‘confusion.’ Those who claim to feel relief from such procedures are simply being pushed further into delusions by having those delusions affirmed. There is no possible way to change a person’s sex. Making attempts to by unnaturally interfering with a person’s hormonal constitution is an abuse of their natural maturation and physical development. “Be your true self,” the trans community cries, while making every effort to openly present themselves as the opposite sex they were born as. If you’re to be your true self, you would avoid any attempt at change, yet the very prefix ‘trans’ means just that—change. This is absolute delusion and unhealthy behaviour. There is great merit in accepting people for who they are and how they choose to present themselves, but encouraging and accepting this sort of delusional behaviour is unhealthy for society. Some of the ‘gender identities’ may seem to fit better under ‘personality types’ which are based on mental make-up and behaviour. Though however much our behaviour may stray from the perceived norms associated with our sex, they will never fully define our sex. Physiology defines sex, and part of that physiology is in the brain. Different hormones cause a natural schism in some behaviours based on sex, but behaviours alone, and that includes “identifying as” something, will never completely define a person’s sex. The recent tendency for this delusional behaviour to be accepted, now leading to the developmental interference of children, needs to be seriously addressed. It needs to be confronted in our communities, healthcare systems, mental health institutions and societies in all forms. There is good reason it was regarded as mental illness in the past and still should be. Though some past attempts as treatments have been horrid and regrettably harmful, there are still solutions that many have found helpful. There are also many coming out to decry modern attempts at solutions that simply give in to the delusional behaviour as harmful. Why has this happened? Saint Stuart September 12, 2025 The explosion of tension right now on the internet around Charlie Kirk’s assassination is exposing the opinions and positions of many people. Some are showing sympathy for Kirk and his family only to lose many followers, receive hateful comments and even death threats. Others are flagrantly celebrating his death, many of them getting terminated from their jobs. This shows a deep divide in society today, not necessarily a purely political one, but it is often tied to political leanings. I think much of it comes down to an understanding of religious, especially biblical, teachings and values around sex. Charlie Kirk spoke out again important issue in society today from gender ideologies and transgenderism to abortion and conservative political views. He was often antagonize from people who disagreed with him, and we see online today a lot of labels being thrown around by both sides. From the left ‘fascist’ ‘Nazi’ and ‘bigot’ are commonly used, and from the right ‘is woke’, ‘communist’ and ‘socialist’. Let’s take a look at these terms and how they relate. Fascism is a style of leadership that puts a dictator in place for the sake of national interests who suppresses rights and freedoms of people they disagree with. Two notorious fascist leaders were Benito Mussolini and Adolph Hitler around the time of World War II. It is often characterized as xenophobic and hostile toward outside groups, often based on race or nationality. Nazi ideology is a type of fascism with support for dictatorship, fervent antisemitism, anti-communism, scientific racism, white supremacy and homophobia. These are all ideologies that most of society today regards as evil, including far right Christians. However, many conservatives hold values and opinions that oppose some things that fascists also opposed, such as homosexuality and socialism, and it’s for that reason that I think far-right thinkers are often labeled fascist. Under Biblical teachings, homosexuality is immoral, and many believe that the sexually-deviant lifestyles and ideologies that come from that culture are also evils that can lead to a life of mental illness. The consensus among conservatives today, however, is not a fascist solution to those problems, but an open dialogue to encourage discussion and debate, exactly what Charlie Kirk was doing. I'd like to share my design for followers of Jesus. It's called You're the Blessed! A play on words for believers in Jesus. As a statement of positivity and encouragement, we say “you’re the blessed” because God, our creator, has blessed us with the world He made for us. James 1:17 states that “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” Through God’s guidance, we may be made capable to experience those things in wholesome and pleasing ways, as Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” A beautiful way to do just that is to be ever-grateful for those blessing, as 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” Our prayer is that all will experience God’s blessing daily, keeping in good health and being prosperous, productive and accomplished in the things that will glorify Him and His kingdom. Dedicated to Queen Elisabeth II and my grandmother. The thought of living forever changes my outlook on life in a very positive way. Though my time on Earth is limited, I’ve felt often as a comfort of love from God that my soul will live on into eternity. I don’t know fully what that will be like, but it inspires me and causes me to think about my time here on Earth in a different way. The question as to whether a person’s soul will live on after death is a very important one, and the guidance God has given us points to two possibilities– eternal destruction or eternal life. Passing through life not knowing the outcome, one might feel frustrated, thinking what’s the point building and working on a life only to have it destroyed as we see through the inevitability of death. What we leave behind becomes an important purpose we can develop– our contributions, memories that others have of us and any children born. Naked a man comes into the world and naked a man leaves, but we have a chance to make an impact on the world while we’re here, hopefully improving it for future generations. Still, the lives of the past and future will inevitably die, as will everyone currently living. Surely there must be a way for all those souls to continue to appreciate what they worked so hard and beautifully to make of the world that God has provided for us. I think there is, and along with other blessings that visions of heaven bring, it inspires me to make the most of my time here on Earth. Praise God! Knowing that I’m going to be around to remember and see the results of everything I’ve done with my life makes me think more seriously about what I ought to be doing. The limited time we have is often enough for many to feel pressured to make the most of what they can, but the added hope of an eternity to enjoy after spurs the mind in many wonders. How will what we do here affect that eternity, and who will we be there with? Our minds are unable to even fully comprehend eternity, but the foundations of our own eternity seem to be rooted in how we develop our lives. When Queen Elisabeth II died, during her funeral service at Westminster Abbey, I thought of what I sometimes very joyfully contemplate when I think about life after death– that she will be one of the many amazing people throughout history that I will have a chance to meet in heaven. Among all the saints, beautiful souls will be there, some that we have learned to admire during our time alive. What will we say to them? What will we share with them about what we’ve done with the life of beauty God has provided us? We can think about these things now while on Earth and feel inspired to be better people and be encouraged to make a powerful impression on those great role models that the world has been fortunate to know. My inspiration for a long time was to one day meet Saint Joan of Arc. Knowing that I may one day have that opportunity fills me with a dedication to do what is right in God’s eyes, and do the things that saints and great people of the past would applaud. I also think of my grandmother who recently passed away, and how I can live my life knowing that I may one day tell her about it in heaven. That is how great people in this world can be made. Most importantly, I think that the people in our own lives having the opportunity to join us in that sort of eternity is what seems most wholesome and glorious in God’s ways. In all of that bliss, thinking of someone not being there wells a sadness within believers that causes them to reach out to non-believers in earnest to share what Jesus taught about going to heaven. Do our family members and friends know what inspires believers to honour what the Bible teaches? Tell them if you do. An eternity in happiness will be better and better with each soul that enters.
