  • LORDSBOOK FAMILY — LET’S SHARE THE BLESSING

Lordsbook has been such a blessing to so many of us… a place filled with truth, encouragement, Scripture, and a community centered on Jesus.

Now it’s time to pass that blessing on.

Today, I want to challenge you to do something simple, but powerful:

Share Lordsbook with 5 people you know.

    Not randomly… but intentionally.

Because the people around you fall into 3 groups:

    1. The one who doesn’t know Jesus at all

This is someone who needs salvation.
They may never walk into a church… but they will scroll on their phone.

Lordsbook can be the place where they first encounter truth, Scripture, and the love of Christ.

Just like Scripture reminds us, God meets people right in the middle of their lives:
Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV) – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you…

You may be the bridge God uses.

    2. The one who is struggling to accept Jesus

    They’re close… but not surrendered.

They’re asking questions, dealing with doubts, or wrestling with their past.

Lordsbook gives them daily truth, consistent exposure to Scripture, and a safe place to grow without pressure.

    Sometimes people don’t need a debate…
They need consistent seeds of truth.

    3. The one who knows Jesus but needs encouragement

This is the believer who is tired, distracted, or discouraged.

They love God… but they need to be strengthened.

    Just like the Word says:

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Lordsbook exists to lift them back up, refocus their heart, and keep them in the Word daily.

THIS IS HOW WE GROW THE KINGDOM TOGETHER

    This isn’t about numbers.
    This is about souls.

    If Lordsbook has blessed you…
Be the reason it blesses someone else today.

    Send a message.
    Share a post.
    Invite them personally.

    5 people. That’s it.

But those 5 people could change eternity.

Let’s reach everyone, everywhere for Jesus.
Let’s disciple the world with the Word.

    Go invite your 5.

  • He entered Samaria, the Lover of Mankind
The Lover of Mankind entered Samaria because He saw the heart thirsty for love, which was the heart of the Samaritan woman. He sat by the well waiting for that heart, that empty vessel which had been filled with the filth of the flesh and thought it contained the grand prize. Jesus longed to give the woman the water that does not cause thirst, but gives satisfaction. And when one is satisfied, the longing for greater satisfaction becomes that spring which wells up to eternal life (cf. John 4:14). Thirst is the price of what we do not have; it is seeing the water and striving for it. But satisfaction is the request to taste, which pushes one to seek to remain in grace and strive for more, not out of lust, but out of the conviction to renounce all that hinders. It is a set of spiritual forces working together:

1- The desire to cling to the Lord.
2- The free renunciation of all that hinders this clinging.
3- The denial of all that hinders clinging.
4- Praise and remaining in communion.
This is not the satisfaction itself, rather satisfaction is firstly the vision of the glory of eternal life. It is not merely a desire, feeling, or emotion, but the launching of the spirit with its rational powers towards what is greater, which is the Lord Jesus Christ reclining in the bosom of the Father, and the striving to remain in the bosom of the Father. At that point, seeking spiritual gifts becomes like talking about dust, whereas seeking to remain in the fire of love is the pure gold that the soul desires with the insistence of love.

  • Everything happens in God’s time, and His plan is never delayed nor rushed. We may not always understand the seasons we face, but God’s Word assures us that “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV). Just as the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation are unfolding according to His perfect timeline, so will the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The signs around us remind us that the end is near, and our focus should be to walk faithfully and be ready at all times. Jesus said, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 24:44 KJV). Let us not grow weary or distracted by the world, but remain steadfast, prayerful, and obedient—prepared every moment for the soon return of our Savior, who will make all things new in His appointed time.

  • Grace Jin Drexel, the daughter of a well-known Chinese pastor recently detained in China’s crackdown on underground churches, is asking Christians around the world to remember and pray for believers in China.
In an interview with Fox News Sunday, Drexel — an American citizen and Senate staffer — said her father, Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri, was arrested at his home in Beihai, Guangxi, on Oct. 10. He’s accused of “illegally using information networks,” a charge she says is clearly political and meant to silence him.
Around the same time, about 30 other Zion Church leaders and members from cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen were also arrested or went missing.
Pastor Jin, who took part in the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, helped start Zion Church in 2007 — one of China’s largest unregistered house churches. Even though authorities shut it down in 2018, the church continues to meet and grow, both in person and online.
Drexel urged, “Please don’t forget us. Don’t forget the Christians in China.”

  • CASTING KEYS … AND CARES
A couple from church shared a humorous and glorious testimony with me this past Sunday. The husband took his grandson and son-in-law fishing near a boat dock. They were fishing from the bank and weren’t having much luck. My friend snagged something and pulled it to shore … it was a leaf. In his pocket, on his key ring, was a miniature measuring tape. He pulled out the measuring tape and measured the leaf (that’s what good fishermen do when they catch a “big ‘un.”) He took a photo of the 5-inch-long leaf and threw it back in the water (he was observing the catch-and-release method of fishing … wink, wink.)
He then laid his key ring in the chair beside him and proceeded to cast his lure back into the water, several yards from shore. Unwittingly, he snagged his key ring with the hook and inadvertently cast his key fob and key chain into the lake. He didn’t even realize what happened until he heard the “Ker-plunk” of the key chain hitting the water. Personally, I would have been at my wit’s end if that had happened to me, but my friend (patient soul that he is) picked up his phone to call his wife. “I hope you still love me after I tell you what I just did,” he said. He told her what happened and asked her to be prepared to come pick him up (since the keys to his car were at the bottom of the lake.)
Thinking he might be able to wade out and search for the lost keys, he found a long stick and used it to measure the depth of the water they were fishing in. The water was well over six-feet deep. He had just about given up hope on retrieving his keys when a gentleman walked up to him and asked him how things were going. My friend told his story about the keys to the man. The man replied, “I think I might be able to help you. I just bought something for such an occasion and I’ve never used it before. It’s a fishing magnet.” He went to his car and retrieved the magnet. My friend showed the man the basic area where the keys went into the water and the man flung the fishing magnet in that direction. He hauled the magnet back to shore and all that was on the end of the magnet was a rusty, old nail. He threw it in again, and, lo’ and behold, he hauled in my friend’s key chain! The magnet had attached to the miniature measuring tape. My friends key fob was drenched, but, when he dried it off, it still worked. Catastrophe averted! My friend called his wife and told her the story of what had just transpired …. “Well, I guess I don’t have to come pick you up after all!” she replied.
When they told me the story I laughed out loud, and also praised the Lord out loud. After all, He cares so much about the little things in our lives that he sends people along our path who can help us out during our difficult moments.
I love that my friend had such a cool demeanor when this incident happened. Through his story, I discovered that if you cast your keys in the lake, everything will turn out fine if you’ll just cast your cares upon the Lord!
    1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
