David Nephi Johnson

David Nephi Johnson is the Chairman of the Wasatch County Republican Party in Idaho. He has been arrested for felony child abuse for waterboarding his daughter.

The case began when the Department of Family and Child Services reported to police that a teenage girl felt unsafe at home. She was even afraid her father might kill her. This was after he waterboarded her when her room was not cleaned to his expectations. During their investigation, they learned he had backhanded her and left visible bruising on her torso.

She also reported that her siblings were abused and at least one other had been waterboarded.

The County GOP responded expressing their concern and noting that the Vice-Chair would assume temporary leadership until more is known.

Stephen Stokes

Stephen Stokes is a former County Commissioner of Benton County, Tennessee. He was also a teacher. He continued to serve as commissioner until his sentencing despite calls for his removal for absenteeism even before he was arrested for sexual battery of a minor in June 2025.

He was released on $100,000 bond, but in August 2025, he failed to appear and was arrested again.

He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in prison on January 20, 2026.

Leon Black

Leon David Black is a billionaire investor and co-founder of Apollo Global Management. While he is technically politically unaffiliated, he is a big campaign donor and two-thirds of his donations are to Republicans. He was also a good friend of Jeffrey Epstein.

In 2023, he was sued by a woman who alleged that Leon Black raped her in Epstein’s townhouse when she was just sixteen years old.

This is the third woman to accuse Black of rape. She is identified as Jane Doe. She is diagnosed with autism and Down’s Syndrome and “developmentally around twelve years old.”

Cheri Pierson claims she was sent to give Black a massage, but he raped her. She dropped her suit.

Epstein payed $62.5 million to the Virgin Islands to settle any Epstein-related suits there.

Andrew Cirone is a Fort Collins, Colorado, police officer currently on unpaid leave due to being arrested for attempted exploitation of a child. While he was investigating a case, a woman reported he talked to her adult daughter and asked for sexually explicit photos from when she was a child.

He was charged with a felony, attempted sexual exploitation of a child, and a misdemeanor, first-degree official misconduct.

Shawn Patrick Myers

Shawn Patrick Myers was elected to the Grove City City Council representing the Third Ward in 2012. He won reelection to his fourth term in 2023 but was arrested before he was sworn in. He has been replaced by an appointee.

He was arraigned for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, corruption of minors, disseminating explicit sexual material with a minor, and endangering the welfare of children. The child was nine years old.

A relative of his was babysitting the child several times. The child sometimes stayed a few days in his home. The abuse allegedly occurred over a several months.

In 2024, he pleaded no contest to child endangerment and the other, more serious, charges were dropped. He was sentenced to five years probation.

Jesse Hockenbury is an attorney and a member of the Highland Heights, Kentucky City Council. Highland Heights is a city that crosses the Ohio and Kentucky state lines and is included in greater Cincinnati.

He remains a member after his arrest, though his picture and bio have been removed. The minutes of February’s post-arrest council meeting have not been posted. He did not attend.

He is also treasurer of the Campbell County Republican Party. He was arrested on February 1, 2026 for sexual abuse in the third degree – sexual contact without consent. The complaint was brought by a client who alleged unwanted sexual contact and inappropriate comments.

William (Bill) Carns was the former Chair of the Nye County Republican Party. He was arrested on January 31, 2026. He was charged with He faces creating or distributing child sexual abuse material and using the internet to control explicit images of someone under the age of 16. In addition, he had three gun charges, including possessing a sawed-off shotgun, possession of a dangerous weapon, and having a firearm without a serial number.

Carns was released on bail the same day he was arrested. He said he had no idea what evidence there was to charge him and suggested it was a strategy by his ex-wife in a custody battle.

Manuel Joseph Barraza was the former El Paso Criminal District Court Judge. He was elected in 2008 and even before being sworn in, he began soliciting bribes to use his position to influence cases.

In the case involving Jane Doe 1, he solicited a bribe of sex, promising to influence the outcome of her case.

He was sentenced to five years in prison. Upon release, he began practicing law despite being disbarred and was again arrested.

His federal case number is 3:2009cr00978.

Robert Sacco was a Nassau County police officer until his arrest for attempted sexual exploitation of a child. He tried to talk a father into raping his ten-year-old daughter. The father was an undercover investigator trawling a site focusing on nudism in the home hoping to catch predators.

Sacco and the undercover officer had a few conversations. (blech) and Sacco repeatedly made suggestions and asked for pictures. The complaint is below. Content warning: it’s full of triggering language about a prepubescent child’s body, child sexual abuse material, and child rape.

1514: Jason Christopher Davis

Jason Christopher Davis was a supervisory Border Patrol agent in New Mexico.

Google informed the National Missing and Exploited Children that an account holder had uploaded two video files of girls somewhere from 11 to 14 masturbating and performing oral sex on each other. They passed the tip on to the authorities who seized his phone and laptop. There they found a recording he had made of a 5-year-old child.

He pleaded guilty to producing child sexual abuse material. He was sentenced to fifteen years in prison and 20 years supervised release.

He will have register as a child sexual offender.
