1443: Cory Mills

Cory Mills

Cory Mills is a Republican Congressman from Florida. He founded an international arms supplier making him a literal international arms dealer, like most of the villains in spy movies. He is embroiled in controversies over alleged lying about his military service, potential self-dealing with the millions in government contracts his company has gotten since he went to Congress, and potential ethics violations by misrepresenting his income in mandatory disclosures. He’s also been accused of violence, harassment, sextortion, and making threats by several women.

In February, 2025, his girlfriend called police alleging he assaulted her, pushing her violently out a door. Bruises were observed and an arrest warrant was prepared but not signed. The woman later said the bruises were from a medical condition and retracted her claim that he violently pushed her. He denied any violence and with her retracting her claims, no arrest was made.

While the woman was still telling police about the attack, she played a message from Mills telling her to lie about the source of the bruises. Initially Mills admitted their disagreement became physical. It was all recanted by both of them. Instead the DC police are investigating their investigation.

In August, his former girlfriend who is Miss United States filed for a restraining order and made a criminal complaint against Mills for harassment, stalking, and threatening to release intimate photos and videos, and threatening violence against any future boyfriends, etc. She had been his girlfriend for a few years but broke it off after she learned of his affair with the women who called the police in February. Since then he has sent dozens of threatening messages, even one that seemed to threat her mother.

Three other women affirmed they had similar experiences with Mills.

1442: Linda McMahon

Linda McMahon is Trump’s Secretary of Education who considers her job is to eliminate the Department of Education. Perhaps he thought she was well-suited for the job as she has been sued for negligence that allowed children to be sexually abused by an employee of World Wrestling Entertainment when she was the CEO. Notably, one of her responses to the suit is to claim she had no “duty of care” for the minor children employed as ring boys.

In October 2024, five men who worked as ring boys at several WWE events sued the organization and Vince and Linda McMahon. It is Maryland Case Number C-03-CV-24-004019. They were sexually abused by the WWE ring announcer Mel Phillips. They allege that the McMahons were negligent allowing Phillips to openly take ring boys to his hotel room, for example. This suit did not come out of thin air. The FBI investigated and found at least ten children abused by Phillips. They allege the McMahons must have known and did nothing to stop the abuse.

The McMahons have claimed that they can’t sue in Maryland and that it was unconstitutional to sue because of a change in the statute of limitations. In February, 2025, the Maryland Supreme Court ruled that the change in the statute of limitations was constitutional and the lawsuit was allowed to go forward.

1441: Ryan Walters

Ryan Walters

Ryan Walters is Oklahoma’s Superintendent of Public Instruction. He has courted controversy by requesting $3 million to buy Trump Bibles to put in every classroom in the state. Oklahoma is dead last in education, but rather than focus on education, he’s neck deep in the culture war. He has led efforts to ban books in public schools, calling books like “The Kite Runner” of someone overcoming childhood sexual abuse pornographic.

Give that Walters presents himself as an anti-pornography crusader, it is ironic that he is now being investigated for exposing the people attending a State Board of Education meeting to the video of a naked woman that was being played on his television screen. This was done without their consent.

Local police were contacted in May 2025 and they began their own investigation, confirming Taylor was the suspect by tracing his IP to his home. The Sheriff said that when they told Taylor the charges, he admitted it and expressed remorse.

Before he resigned, Governor DeSantis suspended him from office. He resigned while in jail. He was in jail four weeks, but after a hearing, his bond was cut from $15,000 for each of 24 charges to $7,500 for each of 22 charges. Two charges were dismissed.
