The task-ls cached benchmark regressed from 278ms to 724ms (-61%) due to commit ad32f27 which added TaskFetcher to task-ls. Fixes: 1. Add short-circuit in TaskFetcher to skip local files early - most tasks don't have remote file sources, so checking for git::/http:// prefixes avoids expensive provider resolution 2. Use lazy static regexes in RemoteTaskGit instead of compiling them on every match check 3. Refactor to use Option-based parsing to avoid creating expensive eyre errors in the hot path Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
