This cleanup should be moved inside the loop. Remove the explicit dispatching_ = false; inside the loop.

If we did that we'd end up ctor and dtoring the cleanup object every iteration of this loop instead of every call to this function. Thoughts?

I guess construction/destruction of the callback and the indirection through the callback is far from free. I guess this could be something to hope for in a future C++ standard.
It would be good to have a ScopedSetter class that we could use to set the members to the new value and restore the old value when exiting the scope. Something like:

Consider doing a single string compare with the full contents of the expected dump including spaces and indentation.
Part of the request is because I think that the indentation of "Number of active streams" is incorrect.

Done. I worry that it might be a little brittle, but at least it's just this one test (and not the entire suite of dump tests).
I broke it out into 3 string cmp of the entire buffer to account for addr values changing.

Done, the "," was due to using the macro, instead I use a string instead if current slice is null.

Good catch, will use std::string_literal where \0 isn't considered end of style like it is for C strings.

UserSpaceFileEventImpl provides 3 functions setEnabled(events) declared by FileEvent. The events are registered for callback. Each call detects fired events once, and IO handle will notify the new events in the long run. activate(events). Explicitly activate the events. The above enabling events are not honored. poll(events). It should only be used by IO handle. Unlike activate, poll honors the setEnabled. Will schedule callback if there is no pending callback. The new library provides new functionality (support for testing the fuzz test locally) and simplifies existing fuzzing tasks. This is the first PR in the series. See envoyproxy#14675 for the detailed rollout plan. Risk Level: Low (new dependencies and major change to the existing envoy_cc_fuzz_test macro, but does not affect Envoy binary) Testing: The changes consist of either (a) code that should be a drop-in replacement to the existing functionality, or (b) new targets marked as "manual". For (a), the Envoy regression tests should catch deviations from the original behavior. The new functionality in (b) is either tested manually, or through the OSS-Fuzz integration (changes coming in future PR). Docs Changes: None (this is test-only functionality). Clarify that NACKs should be detected via the presence of the error_details field, rather than by looking at nonce and version; the latter approach does not work for APIs other than LDS or CDS, where the client can change the set of resources it is subscribing to independently of the resource type instance version changing on the server. …fix (envoyproxy#14896) ListenSocketFactoryImpl stores a const std::string& to the first Listener, which is destructed upon LDS update. When reuse_port is enabled, ListenSocketFactoryImpl reads the stale reference which may be a huge garbage string depending on where std::string::size() is aligned to the garbage memory region. This test sends a large number of metadata frames in order to trigger a disconnect. However, it was possible for the disconnect to happen and the connection to be torn down before all the metadata frames had been sent. If that happened, ASAN detected a UAF:

When building the jni dylib for android, we previously stripped all debug info to decrease the artifact size. With this change we now produce the same stripped binary as before, but before stripping it we create a dump of the debug info suitable for crash reporting. This is made overly difficult for a few reasons: 1. Bazel doesn't support fission for Android bazelbuild/bazel#14765 2. Extra outputs from rules are not propagated up the dependency tree, so just building `android_dist` at the top level, isn't enough to get the extra outputs built as well 3. Building the library manually alongside the android artifact on the command line results in 2 separate builds, one for android as a transitive dependency of `android_dist` and one for the host platform This change avoids #1 fission for now, but the same approach could be used once that change makes its way to a bazel release. This change fixes #2 by using a separate output group that can be depended on by the genrule that writes to dist while avoiding #3 because the custom rule producing these uses the android transition. …voyproxy#42554) ## Description Today, when a filesystem watch callback returns a non-OK status or throws an exception, the error gets propagated to `FileEventImpl` which uses `THROW_IF_NOT_OK`. watchers handle callback errors gracefully by catching any exceptions using `TRY_ASSERT_MAIN_THREAD`, logging errors instead of propagating them and always returning the `OkStatus` to the event loop.
