Navigate to:
Cleanly → Chatbox

Here you can manage all chatbox-related options.


⚙️ Chatbox Settings Overview


1. Join Staff to Chat

Option: Toggle ON / OFF
Purpose: When enabled, staff members automatically join customer chats.

What it does:

  • Allows staff to respond to customers immediately
  • Ensures faster support and better communication
  • Useful for service-based businesses where updates or clarifications are needed

2. Chat Auto Delete

This setting lets you control how long chat messages will be stored.

Available options:

  • Never
  • After 7 days
  • After 14 days
  • After 30 days
  • After 2 months
  • After 6 months

Why this is useful:

  • Helps manage database size
  • Ensures old chats are removed automatically
  • Keeps the chat system clean and fast

3. Display Name in Chatbox

Option: Toggle ON / OFF
Purpose: Shows the Staff or Admin name to the customer during chat.

When ON:

  • Customers can see who they are talking to
  • Adds trust and transparency
  • Recommended for professional service providers

When OFF:

  • Staff/admin identity stays hidden
  • Useful if you prefer anonymous support style
