Quality control

Our quality control

You cannot be certain a compound is what the label says until it has been tested. So every powder we use and every solution we ship is verified by an independent laboratory before it reaches your bench.

The standard

Why we test before we trust

Without testing a compound, it is impossible to be fully certain it is exactly what it is supposed to be. We have real confidence in the suppliers we work with — but confidence is not verification, and a research result that depends on the contents of a vial deserves more than a supplier’s word. So we verify every powder for identity and purity, and every solution for concentration, using appropriate analytical techniques rather than assumption.

Chemyo is a US-based supplier of research-grade SARMs, nootropics, and metabolic reference compounds, sold strictly for laboratory research use. The testing is carried out by an accredited ISO/IEC 17025 third-party laboratory we do not own or control, and the results are recorded in a certificate of analysis for each batch. That certificate is the reason we can stand behind what is in the bottle, and the reason you can trace what you receive back to a documented test. You can review the lab’s standing on our lab accreditation and certificates page.

Identity, by FTIRPowders are sent to a third-party lab and identified by FTIR, which reads each compound’s spectral fingerprint to confirm its composition.
Purity, by HPLCThe same lab establishes purity by HPLC. To date, all raw-compound testing data shows chromatographic purity above 99%.
Concentration, by assayFinished solutions are assayed by HPLC against pure reference materials to confirm they match the concentration on the label.
The process

How a batch reaches your bench

Each batch moves through four stages, and a documented test sits behind every one of them.

I

Vetted sourcing

We buy raw powders only from suppliers held to our standards. When a batch needs it, those suppliers recrystallize the material to drive impurities down before it ever ships to us.

II

Independent lab testing

An accredited ISO/IEC 17025 third-party lab checks identity by FTIR and purity by HPLC, then assays each finished solution to confirm its concentration.

III

Certificate of analysis

Every batch is documented in its own certificate of analysis. The results are recorded, kept on file, and available to review — not promised, but shown.

IV

Sealed, coded dispatch

Each solution is induction-sealed and labelled with a batch code, then dispatched from the US within 24–48 hours with tracking provided.

The 99% line

What the >99% purity standard means

Two different tests sit behind a clean certificate — one for the powder, one for the solution — and each is read differently.

Above 99% on the raw powder

Synthesis fixes a compound’s starting purity, and recrystallization can push it higher. Because we hold suppliers to that standard, all of our raw-compound testing data to date has shown a chromatographic purity above 99%.

On-label on the solution

A solution is assayed by comparing it to pure reference materials. Small random errors in weighing, volumes, injection, and peak integration mean a single measurement carries roughly ±10% precision, so a report may read marginally above or below the label figure.

Made in a clean facility

Solutions are prepared in a modern professional clean contract manufacturing facility by trained personnel using the appropriate equipment, then sent for the assay that confirms they match the label.

What is tested is what you get

Powders are sent for testing through the manufacturing facility; solutions are sent for testing through our third-party logistics provider, who also ships every order. Each step is documented by an outside party. More about how we work

Traceability

From batch code to certificate

Every solution is assigned a batch code — a unique series of numbers specific to that batch. It is the thread that ties a bottle in your hand back to the test that cleared it. If a question ever arises, the code shows us exactly when a batch was made and which products it covers; for you, it points to the test reports that belong to your order.

Batch codeUnique to each batch, printed on the induction-sealed 50 ml label.
Test reportsIdentity, purity, and concentration results recorded for that batch.
Certificate of analysisThe documented record behind the batch, available to review.

Our 50 ml solutions hold roughly 70% more than a standard 30 ml bottle, and each ships induction-sealed and batch-coded so the seal and the code arrive intact. You can see the documentation itself on the lab accreditation and certificates page, browse the science behind each compound in the research library, or meet the people who run this process on the team page.
