Chemyo publishes research guides, compound comparisons, and scientific content to support the laboratory research community. This page explains our editorial process, how our content is created and reviewed, the sources we rely on, and how we maintain accuracy over time.

Our Mission for Content

Our content exists for one purpose: to help qualified researchers understand the pharmacological properties, mechanisms, and research context of the compounds we supply. We do not publish content to encourage, promote, or advise on human use of any compound. Every article, product description, and guide on this site is written with a research audience in mind and is explicitly scoped to laboratory contexts.

Who Creates Our Content

All research guides and blog articles published on chemyo.us.com are written by individuals with formal training in life sciences, biochemistry, pharmacology, or related fields. Our content team includes writers with undergraduate and postgraduate education in relevant scientific disciplines who are familiar with reading, interpreting, and accurately summarizing peer-reviewed literature.

Content is not written by AI without human oversight. Where AI tools are used to assist drafting, all content undergoes substantive human review for scientific accuracy, appropriate framing, and completeness before publication.

Our Research Sources

We rely on peer-reviewed scientific literature as our primary source for all factual claims. The databases and sources we consult include:

  • PubMed / MEDLINE — the primary database for biomedical and life sciences literature, maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
  • ClinicalTrials.gov — for human clinical trial data, protocols, and outcomes.
  • ChemSpider and PubChem — for chemical structure, CAS number, and physicochemical data verification.
  • FDA.gov and EMA.europa.eu — for regulatory status, drug scheduling, and official agency communications.
  • WADA Prohibited List — for anti-doping status of compounds.
  • Published pharmacology textbooks and review articles from recognized academic sources.

We do not cite non-peer-reviewed blogs, forums, or anecdotal reports as sources for any scientific claims. When we reference a specific study, we verify the study was published in a recognized, indexed journal and that our summary of its findings accurately reflects the original data.

Review Process

Before any research guide or product content is published, it goes through the following steps:

  1. Research and drafting: The writer researches the compound using the sources listed above and drafts the content.
  2. Scientific accuracy review: A second team member with relevant scientific knowledge reviews the draft for accuracy, appropriate framing, and compliance with our editorial standards — particularly that no claims of human safety or efficacy are made.
  3. Legal and compliance check: Content is reviewed to ensure all product descriptions include the required “for laboratory research use only” designation and that no content could be construed as promoting human use.
  4. Publication: The article is published with a date stamp. For significant factual claims, inline references or footnotes may be included where appropriate.

What We Will and Will Not Claim

Our content accurately describes what published preclinical and clinical research has demonstrated about specific compounds. We are clear about the distinction between what has been shown in cell culture, animal models, and human clinical trials. We do not extrapolate beyond what the evidence supports.

We will never:

  • Make claims that any compound is safe for human use.
  • Provide dosing recommendations for human administration.
  • Suggest that our products can treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
  • Present preclinical (cell or animal) data as proof of human efficacy.
  • Cite unpublished or anecdotal data as scientific evidence.

Corrections and Updates

Science evolves. If we become aware that a factual claim in any of our content is inaccurate, outdated, or has been superseded by more recent evidence, we will update the affected content promptly. Significant corrections are noted at the top of the affected page with an updated “Last reviewed” date.

If you identify an error or inaccuracy in any of our content, we welcome corrections. Please contact us at [email protected] with the page URL and the specific claim in question, along with any supporting references.

Advertising and Conflicts of Interest

Chemyo’s content is produced entirely by our own team. We do not accept sponsored content, paid insertions, or advertiser-influenced editorial. Our blog content and research guides are not influenced by any third party. The compounds we discuss in our research content may be available for purchase in our store, but this commercial relationship does not influence our editorial judgments about the scientific accuracy of what we publish.
