Breaking Bad: Waco, Ruby Ridge, Bundy Rancher- What Happens with an out of control government

Ruby Ridge, Waco, Bundy Ranch Dispute.

Let’s get one thing straight: The real issue here is how the FBI and other so-called ‘law enforcement’  entities can infiltrate, instigate unlawful conduct, and even plant false evidence to entrap groups they don’t like. These murders would never had happened if the citizenry were PROTECTED by the law. Protected even to the point of arresting government agents, trying them for entrapment, and punishing them with heavy fines, long jail terms in maximum security facilities, and even execution. The Principles of Liberty should be sacrosanct with those chosen to uphold it held to the highest standard.

Waco

The Waco siege was a siege of a compound belonging to the religious group Branch Davidians by American federal and Texas state law enforcement and military between February 28 and April 19, 1993. The group was suspected of weapons violations and a search and arrest warrant was obtained by the ATF. The incident began when the ATF attempted to raid the ranch. An intense gun battle erupted, resulting in the deaths of four agents and six Branch Davidians. Upon the ATF’s failure to raid the compound, a siege was initiated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the standoff lasting 51 days. Eventually, the FBI launched an assault and initiated a tear gas attack in an attempt to force the Branch Davidians out. During the attack, a fire engulfed Mount Carmel Center and 76 people.

Ruby Ridge:

This same FBI sniper went on to Waco, where spent rounds were found in his position. This denial of justice spurred the actions of Tim McVeigh in Oklahoma City. I’m saying when you sweep governments immoral actions under the carpet without so much as a how do you do, it tends to piss off some of the more unhinged people in society.

Point:

What is going on now must stop now. Pushing people to the end of their string. This will not end well with whats going down. Let these glimpses of past history be a lesson.

The cliff note and ending of the Bundy Grazing Land Dispute. I did many posts on the subject. The final chapter. This js what happen when the government destroys one’s way of making a living and as well as their families for generations. Pushed too far.

Bundy Clan charges dismissed, citing “flagrant prosecutorial misconduct” by FBI, prosecutors

I would be remiss not to post the concluding paragraph to this story of how badly things can get out of hand when the government uses its force for nefarious purposes. That being the FBI and Bureau of Land Management. I have heard nothing in the news about this. What a disgrace. I have done tons of posts on the topic starting back with the story in Bunkerville when we first heard of the Bundys and the ranching debacle that got this whole thing started. For the background first:

Cliven Bundy case declared a mistrial, Misconduct by FBI, BLM

Bunkerville and Bundy – the real story about the fight and timeline

Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro in Las Vegas dismissed a jury seated last month for the long-awaited trial of Cliven Bundy, his sons Ryan and Ammon Bundy and self-styled Montana militia leader Ryan Payne.

The decision is the latest in a string of failed prosecutions in Nevada and Oregon against those who have opposed federal control of vast swaths of land in Western states.

Jurors acquitted the two Bundy sons of taking over a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon for more than a month in early 2016 and amid calls for the U.S. government to turn over public land to local control.

In the Nevada case, Navarro faulted federal prosecutors for failing to turn over all evidence to defense attorneys.

“The government is obligated to disclose all evidence that might be favorable” to the defense, the judge said.[…]

When everything goes as bad as it can. The murder of Lavoy Finicum shooting. When the government choses not to deescalate it breaks bad. When a man loses his livelihood.

Two camera angles of LaVoy Finicum shooting – Video

Finicum was shot three times in the back. He was an Arizona rancher who took part in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge takeover in Oregon.

Finicum was driving the truck that carried Ryan C. Bundy, 43, Ryan W. Payne, 32, Shawna Cox, 59, and Victoria Sharp, 18. In the Jeep behind them was driver Mark McConnell, 37, Brian D. Cavalier, 44, and Ammon Bundy, 40, the public face of the occupation. They were bound for a community meeting 100 miles north of the refuge in John Day.

Here is a video that I bet few have seen. For the first time we see not just the fuzzy unclear overhead police angle, but actually footage and words of those taken inside the Finicum car at the exact time of the police ambush. And really that is what one can only conclude if one watches this side-by-side clip of the two angles. Here tis:

Two camera angles of the LaVoy Finicum shooting demonstrate what tends to happen when people fail to prevent the government from becoming out of control.

(I am surprised that it is still available. WARNING very disturbing.)

In a video shown at a Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office press conference today, the aerial FBI video of the LaVoy Finicum shooting has been synced with a cellphone video Shawna Cox recorded from within Finicum’s truck. Be sure and stop back for the ending. Reid, money and China.

Postscript:  The usual conclusion.  In this case Reid, his offspring, money and China.

It has been reported that there were over 50 ranchers in the Bunkerville area. Now down to one. What is clear is that this story is more than a rancher not paying the BLM grazing fees. What we do know is that Harry Reid has his long dirty fingerprints in this story. While the Bundy family may not be the most articulate, soon we hear from others what the BLM has been doing to ranchers. You betcha. Here we go:

The son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Rory Reid, is the primary representative for ENN Energy Group, a Chinese energy company seeking to build a $5 billion solar panel plant on a 9,000-acre Clark County desert plot in Laughlin, Nevada.

ENN scored big when Clark County commissioners unanimously voted to sell the Chinese company the public land for just $4.5 million, despite the fact that it was appraised at $38.6 million.

Sen. Reid has been one of ENN’s biggest supporters, having recruited the company during a 2011 trip to China. According to Reuters, last month Sen. Reid tried to “pressure Nevada’s largest power company, NV Energy, to sign up as ENN’s first customer.”

This isn’t the first time the Reids have come under fire for alleged cronyism. In 2003, allegations emerged that Nevada industries frequently lobbied Sen. Reid through his well-connected relatives.

In conclusion written in 2010:

Written in 2010, this prescient statement is included for “whatever happened”:

It is again gauche to suggest that the U.S. government is a serious threat to our liberty. While the left at times appropriately condemned Bush’s war making, warrantless wiretapping, violations of habeas corpus and flouting of due process, the left has now become resigned to the precise policies being carried out by their hero Barack Obama. Just as important, they have forgotten what it meant to be more afraid of their government than of their fellow Americans upset about that government. All this Bush-era despotism continues unabated, but now it is seen as unseemly, unpatriotic, hateful, and even criminal to suggest that the U.S. government has authoritarian practices and totalitarian designs.

The Senate leaders coup that blocked public debate on Omnibus budget bill UPDATE

UPDATE: PASSES.

UPDATE: HERE’S THE ROLL CALL VOTE — HOUSE PASSES OMNIBUS SPENDING BILL

Here’s the

There are plenty of blogs out there that will give you the horrendous details that are starting to be revealed in the soon to be passed Ryan budget bill. So let me give you the coup that went down with McConnell at the helm to make sure we will never ever have a recorded vote on any amendments nor hear a word on the Senate floor in debate. That there would be not one Senator available to object. Here we go:. (Just a taste of of it)

ICYMI: In Omnibus, Congress Provides $1.6B to Resettle Illegal Immigrants Arriving at Border Through 2018

With a mere 68 seconds of almost incomprehensible Senate legalese, the two top Republican and Democratic leaders together blocked any budget amendments, televised debate and roll-call votes over the myriad unpopular or popular, effective, dysfunctional or counterproductive measures in the $1.1 trillion 2016 omnibus spending plan.

On Friday morning, likely at 10.00 a.m., $1.1 trillion in spending will be swept through the Senate in only a few minutes, without debate, public observation, record-keeping, cheering and especially without dramatic amendments and unpopular roll-call votes that would be tracked, counted, measured and replayed over and over again in 2016 attack ads.

The leaders’ surprise coup can be seen here, at 1.01 p.m, or 3.02:00 into this C-SPAN video, when Majority Leader Minority Leader, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) jointly, quickly and quietly walked onto the Senate floor while a few other Senators were delivering minor speeches sought by their constituents or lobbyists.

“I see that the [GOP] Majority Leader and the Democratic leader are on the Senate floor and I believe it would be appropriate for me to yield to them,” said Maine Republican, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME)

“I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate receives a message from the House to accompany H.R. 2029, the Majority Leader be recognized to make a motion to concur on the House amendments, further that if a cloture motion is filed on that motion, that notwithstanding Rule 22, the Senate immediately vote on the motion to invoke cloture, that if cloture is invoked, all post-cloture time be yielded back, the Majority Leader or his Designate be recognized to make a motion to table the first House amendment, that following the disposition of that motion, and if a budget point of order is raised, the Majority Leader is designated to be recognized to make a motion to waive the point of order, and that following disposition of that motion and the Senate the vote on motion to concur on the House amendments with no further motions or amendments in order, unless the motion to table is successful, or the budget point of order is sustained, and with two minutes of debate, equally divided, in the usual form, prior to each vote.”

Is there…” asked the Senator presiding over the event, Sen. Deb Fischer (R-NE , Republican from Nebraska.

She was trying to ask if any Senator present objected to McConnell’s plan.

The leaders’ “unanimous consent” no-amendment, no-debate plan would fail if even one determined Senator was on the floor, and ready to withhold consent — perhaps Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), or Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who had earlier promised to extend a debate —  but the two leaders had timed their coup perfectly, and there was no Senator there ready to object or withhold their consent.

“No objection,” quickly responded Reid, off-camera, before Fischer could even finish her sentence, and before any other Senator rushed through the doors to stop the entire process with a single objection.

“No objection, so ordered,” Fischer said.

That was it.

Obama re: Iraq- tells leadership: ‘I don’t need your stinking approval’

Just a photo-op at the WH for our Commander in thief. I wonder if Boehner questioned Obama on his perspective. This from no less than CNN. The truth of the matter, “Clueless” is remaining clueless. So much for equal branches of government. Congress gets the finger once again.

Washington (CNN) — I’ll let you know what’s going on, but I don’t need new congressional authority to act, President Barack Obama told congressional leaders Wednesday about his upcoming decision on possible military intervention in Iraq.
The White House meeting sounded more like a listening session for the top Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate about options for helping Iraq’s embattled Shiite government halt the lightning advance of Sunni Islamist fighters toward Baghdad that Obama is considering.

Obama “did not give us an array of actions he was planning to take,” Pelosi said. “He just talked about his perspective on what was happening there.”
A few hours earlier, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey said they were working out details on possible U.S. steps that could include airstrikes on Sunni militants advancing through northern Iraq.

Reid Jabs Senators: Stupid if you didn’t get your payoff

Cash For Cloture–
Majority Leader Harry Reid today slammed those foolish democratic senators who did not demand goodies for their Obamacare vote

The Politico reported:

“Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) offered a vigorous defense Monday of the deals in the Senate reform bill that benefit individual states, saying ‘it doesn’t speak well’ of senators who didn’t secure such deals …”

You are an evil man, Harry Reid.

And what threat Harry, are you using to keep all of these Senators away from their families for Christmas? Meeting in the dark of the night? 7 in the morning?

It’s all about the payoffs.

Who got what for Healthcare Votes

Nebraska, Vermont and Massachusetts scored $1.2 billion in special Medicaid assistance. Nelson got something for Nebraska the other states didn’t — a permanent exemption on increased state costs for new patients that come into Medicaid through the plan.

Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming secured higher federal reimbursement rates for doctors and hospitals that serve Medicare patients.

Senior citizens in Florida, Pennsylvania and New York will see their Medicare Advantage benefits protected at a time when the program will be trimmed nationwide.

Jim Manley, Reid’s spokesman, defended the special provisions as “a normal part of the legislative process.”

But Republicans, despite their use of similar tools while in the majority, spent Sunday blasting Democrats.

“This process is not legislation. This process is corruption,” Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) said. “And it’s corruption that’s obvious to the average American in this country,” Coburn said. “And it’s a shame that that’s the only way we can come to consensus in this country is to buy votes.”

Coburn also blasted a mystery provision tucked into the bill, $100 million for a university hospital. Reid’s office could not say what senator asked for it but late Sunday night, Sen. Chris Dodd fessed up, saying he’s hoping the money will come to the University of Connecticut. Dodd is facing a difficult re-election battle.

Coburn also said he hoped one of his fellow senators didn’t show up for the pivotal 1 a.m. vote – an admission that Republicans were powerless to stop the procession of votes toward passage.

How does it feel, Nelson, to sell out, and how much did you get?

Feeling like I have pulled  an all nighter, the choice on whether to opine on this ludicrous bill, seems a waste of effort. We all know the drill. In cult like fashion no less sinister than David Koresh, the senate members are deprived of sleep, herded together for weeks at a time, disconnected from their families during this most sacred time of the year, threatened in unmentionable ways, to do the Master’s bidding. And for Nelson? Just another Judas for a bit more than 30 pieces.

As if the god or goddess did not do their best by providing one of the worst snow storms ever, that would not dissuade Reid from literally risking the members lives. We have now seen the ultimate power.

While Nebraskans will get new Medicaid mandates covered by the federal government, most other states will sink under the weight of new unfunded mandates. Here’s how Nebraska’s Governor described the problem before Nelson struck his bargain:

“The State of Nebraska cannot afford an unfunded mandate and uncontrolled spending of this magnitude.”

Will Nebraskans be proud of Nelson’s tactics, or ashamed that Nelson has turned Nebraska into a beggar state relying on others to pay Nebraska’s way?

Will Nebraskans sit back in quiet satisfaction knowing that Nebraska has been saved from further unfunded mandates, while other states crumble, or feel like the proverbial person who lay down with dogs and got up with fleas?

Only time will tell.

Breast Cancer death rate higher in Great Britain than U.S.

Could it have anything to do with the extended waiting and rationing of healthcare? Well done, dems… we’re on the way! All Hail 0bamacare! No Mammograms until 50 in G.B.– U.S. 40 or under DEPENDING on risk. Up to your Physician not some bureaucrat

Well, now  Obama and Pelosi  and Reid will do it to U.S. women. Wait till 50 than every two years, NOT COST EFFECTIVE– its ok to let the women die, and don’t expect the best expensive chemo. Women First. Then Seniors, Then the Premiees, then you!

“The journal Lancet Oncology has reported that American cancer patients live longer than those anywhere else on the globe.

“American women have a 63 percent chance of living at least five years after a cancer diagnosis, compared with 56 percent of women in Europe.

“For American men, the numbers are even more dramatic. Sixty-six percent of American men live five years past a diagnosis of cancer, but only 47 percent of European men do. Of cancers that affect only women, the survival rate for uterine cancer is 5 percentage points higher in the U.S. than the European average, and 14 percent higher for breast cancer. Among cancers that affect only or primarily men, survival rates for prostate cancer are 28 percent higher in the U.S., and for bladder cancer, 15 percent higher.

The British Health Service keeps costs down by rationing care through long waiting lists for service. The Manhattan Institute’s Dr. David Gratzer reports that an estimated 20 percent of British lung cancer patients considered curable when they were first placed on the waiting list for chemotherapy or radiation were incurable by the time they obtained treatment.
