Why is it the other side can always find these corrupt judges and go Judge shopping but Trump is always stuck with the D.C. judiciary. Other than the Florida judge who was fair it seems, Trump is stuck with either New York or D.C. New York which can’t wait to nail him still.

America First Legal has uncovered damning evidence that federal Judge Jack McConnell, the Rhode Island judge who halted President Trump’s temporary spending freeze, has been deeply entrenched in a taxpayer-funded nonprofit—receiving over $128 million in government funding during his tenure.

“FEDERAL JUDGE McCONNELL MUST RECUSE HIMSELF IMMEDIATELY. AFL has uncovered a major potential conflict of interest for Judge John McConnell, Chief Judge of the federal district court of Rhode Island, who halted President Trump’s temporary spending freeze,” AFL wrote on X.

Judge McConnell has long been associated with Crossroads Rhode Island, a so-called “nonprofit” organization that rakes in millions in government funds under the guise of social programs.

According to AFL’s investigation, McConnell has served on Crossroads’ Board of Directors since 2006, including a decade-long stint as Chair. Even after taking his seat on the federal bench in 2013, McConnell continued to appear as a Director on the NGO’s IRS Form 990 filings.

It’s pay to play with this fellow and his rocky career.

Biden put in around 275 judges during his term so we can expect more of this.

F.B.I. Raids Homes of 2 of Mayor Adams’ top aides, NYPD phones subpoenaed

What in the world is going down in New York City? Mayor Adams? The chickens are coming home to roost.

NEW YORK (WABC) — The FBI came to the homes of two of New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ closest aides, sources told ABC News, and subpoenaed the cellphones of at least seven people in the NYPD, including one belonging to Commissioner Edward Caban.

The FBI came to the Hamilton Heights home of First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright and the Hollis, Queens home of Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Phil Banks, where agents asked them to surrender their phones, the sources said.

It began Wednesday morning but the news broke on Thursday afternoon. It is likely they both occurred at dawn Wednesday.

 

But then again, as we watch these Blue State cities descend into chaos amid the call for DEI, this is what we get. Perhaps not the cream of the crop.

Mayor Eric Adams shows off his diverse administration: “Have you ever seen this much chocolate leading the city of New York??!! This is why they hating on me!” He then compares himself to Jesus for assembling such a non-White team.

Imagine a white mayor saying, “Have you seen this much vanilla leading the city of NY?” While going on to compare himself to Jesus.

Jim Biden, Americore, Massive Medicare Fraud and 200K for Joe – It’s All About ‘the Brand’

Textbook Biden business model: – Joe Biden meets Americore CEO – Hunter Biden meets with him too – Jim Biden, wife Sara, and son Jamie are on the Americore payroll – Joe’s personal doctor, White House physician Kevin O’Connor, joins Americore meeting with Jim Biden – Bidens make beaucoup $$$$ – Little people get hurt – “Joe knew nothing. He only talked about the weather.”

So goes the tweet by Miranda Devine.

In what has to be a read far better than any “Who dunnit.” No less than Politico lays out the latest scam discovered. So while Trump is hauled before the mast in a “No one dunnit” in a guilty finding of a charge by a judge where no crime occurred, this mockery of justice continues with one Joe Biden.

This explains why Americore sent Jim Biden a $200,000 “loan” in March 2018 that he and his wife Sara used to write this check to Joe Biden.

Jim Biden got much more than 200K from Americore, then later was sued by bankruptcy trustee and compelled to return 300K. Of course, Joe got to keep the 200K phantom loan repayment.

The email, obtained by POLITICO from a person close to the company, documents one of the many ways in which Jim Biden invoked his brother’s name and clout in the course of his work with Americore, which has since gone bankrupt, wreaking havoc in rural communities in the process.

Jim Biden spoke of plans to give his brother equity in Americore, according to one former Americore executive, and install him on its board, according to a second. He also said that if Americore could find a winning business model for rural health care, his brother could promote the company in a future presidential campaign, a third former executive told POLITICO. All were granted anonymity to discuss a company mired in legal and political controversy

In order to fund Americore’s expansion, Jim Biden offered to secure capital from investors in the Middle East, according to the emails and executives. When the expected money did not arrive, it aggravated Americore’s preexisting financial issues. The company collapsed, leaving behind unpaid bills and neglected patients.

As the layers of activity that occurred in and around Americore are peeled back in a federal prosecution in Pennsylvania, a bankruptcy court in Kentucky, and tense witness interviews on Capitol Hill, a POLITICO investigation renders the most detailed picture to date of the ways in which Joe Biden’s relatives leveraged his public stature to advance a private business venture.

…The investigation also reveals that Joe Biden’s name and inner circle were more involved with the company than has been understood: In addition to the accounts provided by former executives, investor materials described Jim Biden as an adviser to his older brother. And on top of Joe Biden’s own previously reported encounter with the firm’s CEO, at least three of Joe Biden’s relatives did work with Americore. They include Jim Biden’s wife, Sara, and his son, Jamie. The president’s son, Hunter Biden also met with its CEO, and his personal doctor — current White House physician Kevin O’Connor — joined a meeting with Jim Biden and the president of a hospital being acquired by Americore, according to a former executive and emails obtained by POLITICO.

So the noose should be tightening. But so far the media has barely shown an interest. Except now as Politico takes a turn at looking at the corruption, one wonders if the white flag has been raised by the Dem insiders and decided it is time to dump the guy. Jim Biden is set to meet with the House on February 21st.

“The Committees seek information you possess regarding your business dealings with both Americore and James Biden, including, but not limited to, the ‘loans’ that James Biden received from the financially struggling company,” the letter, sent Thursday afternoon, reads.

Comer and Jordan have been investigating Americore and James Biden allegedly misleading the company into giving him a $600,000 loan. The committees interviewed Carol Fox, a bankruptcy trustee of the company, earlier this month, and Fox testified that James Biden promised he could leverage his last name to secure funding from the Middle East. GA DA Fani Willis – Just Look At What You Have Done Now!

Oh Fani, now look what you have done. Trump’s nemesis DA Willis just keeps getting into more trouble as more is revealed about her life and loves. First let’s see what February live TV may bring us.

Fani Willis Axed Employee Who Blew Whistle on Misuse of Federal Funds.

Fani Willis may have fired the employee who warned her about mishandling federal funds. But she didn’t deny her allegations.

According to Timpson, the aide, Michael Cuffee, planned to use part of a $488,000 federal grant—earmarked for the creation of a Center of Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention—to pay for “swag,” computers, and travel.

“He wanted to do things with grants that were impossible, and I kept telling him, like, ‘We can’t do that,'” Timpson told Willis in a Nov. 19, 2021, meeting. “He told everybody … ‘We’re going to get MacBooks, we’re going to get swag, we’re going to use it for travel.’ I said, ‘You cannot do that, it’s a very, very specific grant.'”

“I respect that is your assessment,” Willis responded. “And I’m not saying that your assessment is wrong.”

Later in the conversation, Willis apologized to Timpson, and said Cuffee had “failed” her administration.

Less than two months later, Willis abruptly terminated Timpson and had her escorted out of her office by seven armed investigators, according to Timpson. When Timpson filed a whistleblower complaint the following year that alleged wrongful termination, Willis’s office issued a statement describing Timpson as a “holdover from the prior administration” who was terminated because of her “failure to meet the standards of the new administration.”

No need to go into the whole sordid mess of Fani. By now most know of the myriad accusations that have been building regarding the fast cash she and her honey have been using from our dimes apparently.

Isn’t it amazing how naive these attack dogs against Trump are? Did they think there would be not one iota of inspection into their lives? Was the Trump Derangement so complete that they had the delusion that they were totally bullet proof?

No doubt we are just starting to begin looking under the hood at all this corruption. Even better it is reported that a visit to the White House occurred just prior to the charges. That should offer rich terrain as that is ferreted out.

Anyway, thought a bit of a change up in topics for a post today was in order. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Zelensky Associate Was Present at Biden Bribery Meetings

Is Biden being blackmailed by Zelensky? We learn that this associate went on to work for him. Are we to believe that he said nothing to Zelensky about the meetings?

Peter Schweizer and Miranda Devine have been doing the heavy lifting on the Biden corruption. As bad as it’s been, the latest reveal could be devastating for Joe. Will Devon Archer finally make an appearance before congress. If he comes forth, the final chapter to this saga may be written. The House subpoenaed Archer…Now GOP get a backbone and force him to testify. The latest is that he will give a closed door written deposition on Monday. We shall see. We hear that he and his family are receiving death threats, what a surprise.  Here is the latest:

Author Peter Schweizer went on with Jesse Watters on Monday night where he proceeded to drop another bomb on the Biden Crime Family.

According to Schweizer, who wrote a best-seller “Secret Empires” on the Biden Family crimes, told Jesse that one of Vlodomyr Zelensky’s top officials was sitting in the room when they were discussing bribing the Bidens, Joe and Hunter.

Ukrainian President Zelensky has a top official who was sitting in on meetings where they talked about bribing the Bidens.

Schweizer suggests Zelensky is using this as leverage over the Biden regime for weapons and billions in US dollars.

** They initially said there were no foreign deals.
** Then they shifted and said there were. There might have been foreign deals, but the Bidens made no money.
** Then it became Joe Biden didn’t know about any of the deals.
** Then it became Joe Biden didn’t participate in any of the deals.
** And now it’s that he was not in business with his son.

It is also convenient for Zelensky that there is not a team of US auditors in his country tracking where all of this money went.

Turley: Media Does a Victory Lap – No Ties to the Big Guy Yet with Hunter’s Corruption

Hooray! The big guy escapes yesterday’s House Oversight Committee Presser! No ten percent proof or then some. But plenty of stuff to think about. Johnathan Turley offers us a few thoughts. I include a segment from Jesse Watters program last night. He spins down memory lane and is an interesting piece.

One of my favorite writers, whose manner and style can accommodate differing points of view without being a flame thrower. His tweets yesterday were worthy of repeating.

Soon to be followed by “Media Finally Admits That They Have No Journalistic Interest in Democratic Corruption.” As noted earlier, nothing will make the media see the elephant on the stage.

In the interview, Biden declared “My son has done nothing wrong. I trust him. I have faith in him, and it impacts my presidency by making me feel proud of him.”

As with media over the last four years, MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle did not challenge the clearly absurd statement. Instead, she prefaced her question by stressing that there are “no ties to you” in any of his son’s alleged crimes. That is of course ignoring the mounting evidence of influence peddling, repeated references to the involvement of the president, and reports of a whistleblower alleging the President’s involvement in a bribery scheme.

However, it was Ruhle’s shrug to Biden’s claim that was the most glaring part of the low-risk interview. There is, of course, much that Hunter did “wrong.” Let’s just rattle off a few notable examples.

However, the biggest “wrong” is the one that Biden does not want to acknowledge because the President was the object of the wrongful conduct.

Influence Peddling

Both the Bidens and the media are eager to tie off the Hunter Biden controversy, even with the necessity of a narrow criminal indictment or plea. The hope is that a plea could be used to declare the matter closed without having to address millions of dollars reportedly generated in one of the most flagrant influence-peddling operations in history.

Joe Biden says Hunter has done ‘nothing wrong.’ Really? Let’s count the ways

Putting aside any collateral crimes, however, influence peddling is still a form of corruption. Hunter Biden, his uncle James, and other Biden family members are implicated in receiving massive payments from foreign “clients” seeking to influence then–Vice President Joe Biden.

The spin has already begun as pundits and press repeat over and over again that influence peddling is not a crime. It is true that it is not a crime in itself, but it is common for criminal acts to be committed in carrying out or concealing such influence peddling.

It may be the favorite form of corruption in Washington, but it is still corrupt. It is still, in the president’s words, “wrong.”

I do not fault President Biden for defending his son. However, to paraphrase the common statement on sin, you can hate the wrong and love the wrongdoer.

 

I don’t usually watch Jesse Watters on Fox. I did last night just to see the reaction to the hearing. It was a good one with good highlights of the hearing.

House Oversight Committee Reveals Joe Biden Received Foreign Funds From Romania While In Office; UPDATE

House Republicans provide an update on their investigation into the Biden family’s overseas business dealing.

 

 

Now is the day Comer, head of the House Oversight Committee is set to disclose his goods on the Biden Family. 9:00 am. The Live Link here. It is claimed now that Romania of all countries was the country that the latest whistleblower had revealed was the benefactor of one of Biden’s decisions. Comer stated that he will drop the bank records of the Biden’s that show the nefarious behavior. I will add to this post today after the hearing.

Will The Real Bernie Sanders Please Stand Up?

Social Media bas been livid these past days over Bernie’s high charges for appearances and the price of his Anti-Capitalism book “It’s OK to be angry about Capitalism.” In truth? This is just the tip of the iceberg for the Sanders clan. Bernie lets his his wife, son and daughter, in typical Washington style, leave part of the grifting to the family.

$28 bucks for the book, $95 for the book and a ticket.

 

While everyone is looking at Joe Biden’s son Hunter, let us take a look at Bernie and Jane Sanders and their kids and how they are raking in the dough.

Sanders Shuts down Institute Over Pay-To-Play Accusations

The senator’s son was reportedly paid about $100,000 last year for his work at the Sanders Institute. The entire organization raised about $730,000 — and another $459,000 in 2017, according to the Sanders family.

Reflecting on accusations of pay-to-play influence-peddling at The Clinton Foundation, Senator Bernie Sanders told CNN in March of 2016 that:

“It is obscene that Secretary Clinton keeps going to big-money people to fund her campaign…”

All of which makes the news, via AP, that the “nonprofit” think tank founded by Sanders’ wife and son is closing up shop after drawing criticism over the donations it’s been receiving all the more intriguing.

The unexpected move by the institute’s board of directors comes as Bernie Sanders, a leading candidate for the 2020 Democratic nomination, prepares for a wave of intense scrutiny into his political network and his family’s role in its operation.

The institute was founded to promote liberal policies less than two years ago by Sanders’ family with the backing of pro-Sanders celebrities and advocates – though Sanders himself had no formal role. While it operates at a fraction of the scale of the Clinton Foundation, it has accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars during its brief existence and has declined to disclose its donors.

Jane and her son, David Driscoll, founded the Sanders Institute in 2017 under the claim that it would research and promote liberal policies. Instead, people have accused them of using the institute as a way to sell their loyalty to the rich and powerful.

The decision was reportedly made in late February after Sanders launched his campaign.

“I think that was the most important thing to do — to not accept donations,” said Jane Sanders in an interview with the Associated Press.

“Nobody should think that they’re giving money to an organization and that gains them access or favor to anybody elseand anybody running for office.”

You think so? After being under investigation by the FBI?

How did Jane Sanders funnel more than 500k to her daughter’s for-profit woodworking business during her tenure as President of Burlington College and get away with it?

What hasn’t been discussed in all the noise about Burlington College’s closure is how Jane Sanders (supported by the same Board of Trustees who approved the land sale) openly funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars from Burlington College’s operating funds to VT Woodworking School — a for-profit business started by her daughter Carina Driscoll in 2007.

Despite scattered reporting on this story, Jane Sanders has never been asked to explain why Burlington College suddenly needed to start a woodworking program in 2009 – the very same year the VT Woodworking School expanded to its current site in Fairfax, VT taking on considerable expense of a new building and needing to find students to fill its cavernous 15,000 square-foot space.

Nor has anyone asked if the College did what would normally be required in this process by creating a Request For Proposal (RFP) to solicit bids in order to guarantee that the process was fair and open to other entities competing for this business.

This appears not to be the case given that the College was also funding another program at the same time (as reported in the College’s tax returns) that directly benefited the children of Jonathan Leopold, a board member.

According to the College’s now defunct website, Carina Driscoll was listed as Director of the Woodworking Program at Burlington College on the Faculty and Staff Directory in 2016. It is unclear how the College was able to hire her on staff while she remained the owner of VT Woodworking — directly benefitting from the College’s funding of her for-profit business.- a great read-  Read more

America – that gaslight on a hill

Verb — manipulate (someone) by psychological means into questioning their own sanity.

A form of abuse in which the abuser attempts to sow the seed of self-doubt and confusion.  Typically, gas lighters are trying to gain power and control over others by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition.

According to Psychology Today, it is an insidious form of manipulation where victims are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true — often about themselves and what they believe.  Such victims will begin to doubt their perception of what’s real and what isn’t.

Is there also a sociological construct?  Of course.  For example, when there is a sustained effort to convince members of society that the lives of only one race matter, that there are more than two sexes, that there is no corruption in government, or that social inequality is the fault of a population’s majority.

But for gaslighting to be effective, its victim has to hold the gas lighter in high regard, and in matters of politics, to elevate any politician to near god-like esteem is a massive mistake — and so too is the acceptance of any media outlet as a provider of objective truth.

There was a time when news media gave us the facts — the who, what, when, why, where, and how of an event.  And having done this chore, it was up to the reader to figure out how they felt about that event.  This time was a long ago and lasted only a few seconds.  After that, news consumers had to determine how much liberal bias was inserted into the facts.

Today, news reporting has become full-blown gaslighting.  Almost nothing in the news carries any credibility, and it doesn’t matter which source one consults.  This probably began in 1968 when the most trusted man in America, Walter Cronkite, began parroting communist propaganda about the war in Vietnam.  Cronkite’s message was the opposite of the government’s message.

Looking back, we might ask if Daniel Ellsberg was right — was the war unwinnable?  Remember that Democrats were in charge of Congress back then and controlled the budget.  Media gaslighted Congress into thinking the war could not be won, so of course, it couldn’t be won — even though North Vietnam’s top general believed that he’d been beaten.

Over time, gaslighting (as an art form) becomes more complex.  How does one sort out fact from fiction when fact morphs into opinion?  Everyone may be allowed to have their own opinion, but they are not entitled to their own reality.  A fact is a fact, period.

Today’s examples of gaslighting begin with the George Soros organization named Media Matters.  It is an appropriately named organization.  Media definitely matters.  Media Matters is responsible for creating and distributing Democratic Party (communist) talking points to media sources, from newsprint to radio, television, and social media.  This means that media sources don’t matter because the message is always the same: Russia, Russia, Russia.
