Katy ISD is helping students stay energized and ready for summer activities through its Summer Food Service Program, which provides free breakfast and lunch meals to children 18 years old and younger, regardless of enrollment status. Children must be present to obtain a free meal and are not required to show identification or be Katy ISD students. Parents are welcome to purchase a meal to enjoy with their children.

Hundreds of community members including, educators and elected officials gathered tonight to dedicate Alfred and Ann Boudny Elementary, celebrating the Boudny family’s decades of service and the opening of one of Katy ISD’s newest elementary campuses.

Katy ISD is opening the doors to learning’s first big milestone as kindergarten enrollment opens today, Feb. 2, inviting families to begin an exciting and seamless start to their child’s educational journey. Enrollment is open through June 26.

Families, students and staff filled Katy Heritage Park for Katy ISD’s annual Brick Unveiling Ceremony, where the District honored its 2024-25 Campus Teachers of the Year with commemorative bricks installed as permanent tributes to their service.
