The Availability tab controls when the service can be booked, how long appointments last, and what booking rules apply. These settings can override global availability rules if needed.
1.1 Service Duration #
Define how long a single booking for this service lasts.
- Set the duration using hours and minutes
- This duration determines the length of each bookable time slot
1.2 Buffer Time #
Set a buffer time that is automatically added between bookings. Buffer time helps prevent back-to-back sessions and is useful for:
- Preparation
- Cleaning
- Travel time between appointments
The buffer time is added after each booking.
1.3 Notice Time Before Booking #
Specify the minimum time required before a booking can be made.
This setting ensures customers must book in advance (for example, “must book at least 3 hours before the appointment”).
1.4 Number of people limitation for the same slot (Available in the PLUS or higher plan) #
You can set the maximum and minimum number of people/unit or group booking for the same time slot here.

1.5 Override Global Availability #
Enable this option if the service requires its own working hours, separate from the global availability settings.
When disabled, the service will follow the working hours defined in Global Availability Settings, which can be found in Settings -> Global Availability & Holidays.
1.6 Set custom availability #
Use Custom Availability to define the exact days and time intervals when this service can be booked.
This allows you to override the default working hours and create a service-specific schedule.
- Each day of the week (Monday–Sunday) can be enabled or disabled using the toggle. Disabled days are not available for booking.
- For enabled days, you can define one or more time slots by selecting a start time and an end time.
- Only the configured time slots will be available for booking.
- Click Add Time Slot to create multiple time ranges on the same day (for example, morning and afternoon sessions).
- Use Apply to all days to copy the same time slots to every day of the week.
- Click the trashcan icon to remove a time slot from a specific day.

1.7 Override Global Availability for Specific Days Only (Available in the PLUS or higher plan) #
Use this option to define special availability rules for specific dates. This is ideal for:
- Holidays
- Special events
- Temporary schedule changes
Only the selected dates will use the overridden availability.
1.8 Limit Availability to Specific Date Range (Available in the START or higher plan) #
Restrict the service so it can only be booked within a specific date range. This is useful for:
- Seasonal services
- Limited-time offerings
- Temporary services
Customers will not be able to book the service outside the selected range.
1.9 Override global timeslot intervals (step) #
Enable this option to override the global time slot interval setting for this service. To add a global timeslot, go to Settings > Advanced Booking Rules > Booking Form > Global timeslot interval (step).
1.10 Time slot interval (step) #
Here you can enter the default time interval for time slots, which helps organize business hours and appointment durations. Please note that the custom duration of Service is part of the PLUS or higher plan.

1.11 Require Customers to Book Several Time Slots (Available in the PLUS plan or higher) #
Enable this option if customers must book more than one time slot for this service. This is useful for services that:
- Require longer sessions
- Are billed or scheduled in fixed time blocks
- Need multiple consecutive slots instead of a single one
When enabled, customers will not be able to complete a booking with only one slot.
1.12 Minimum Slots per Booking #
Set the minimum number of time slots a customer must select in order to make a booking. For example:
- If the minimum is set to 2, customers must book at least two time slots.
1.13 Maximum Slots per Booking #
Set the maximum number of time slots a customer can book in a single booking. This helps limit excessively long bookings while still allowing flexible durations.
1.14 Require Consecutive Time Slots (available in the PLUS plan or higher) #
When enabled, customers must select continuous, back-to-back time slots.
This ensures:
- No gaps between booked slots
- Longer sessions are scheduled as one uninterrupted block
This option is recommended when multiple time slots represent a single extended appointment.
