• Infinite Strength – Provides Rrcurring Monthly Basic Needs Financial Grants to underserved single mothers living with metastatic breast cancer in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island or Vermont
• Living Beyond Breast Cancer Metastatic Breast Cancer Grant – Provides one-time grant to help people in active treatment for early-stage breast cancer or living with metastatic breast cancer pay vital expenses such as rent, utility bills, car payments, and car insurance. Grant amounts range from $500 – $1,000 depending on need.
• Medicine Assistance Tool – Patients complete a questionnaire that directs them to personalized resources and assistance
• Patient Advocate Foundation – Provides direct payment for co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles for patients who need financial assistance; determined by zip code
• Pink Fund – Provides 90-day non-medical cost-of-living expenses to breast cancer patients in active treatment
• Social Security – Compassionate Allowance expedites the SSDI claim process. Certain disabling conditions, including metastatic breast cancer, receive a decision within three weeks. Funds are distributed in the same manner as regular SSDI (6 months from date of determination).
• Triage Cancer® is a national, nonprofit organization that provides free education on legal and practical issues that may impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers, through events, materials, and resources. The Legal & Financial Navigation Program offers one-on-one help with issues such as work, health and disability insurance, finances, and estate planning. CancerFinances.org is an online toolkit to help people manage finances after a cancer diagnosis.
