Whether you like to help with fundraising events, organize materials in our office, or organize a fundraiser in your community, we value your donation of time and talent in fulfilling our mission. Student community service hour opportunities are often available as well.
Volunteer at a Signature Fundraising Event
Be a part of our four signature fundraising events. Event volunteers assist with event set up, sponsorship and raffle drives, and event marketing.

Host a Care Box Building Volunteer Event
Your team can make a significant impact on your local the community by funding and building care boxes for those affected by breast and ovarian cancers. Care box builds are a great team-building activity for organizations of all sizes.
Staff assistance, materials, and marketing and communications support provided.
Host a Sock Drive
Donate a pair of cozy socks to support our program members affected by breast and ovarian cancers. Socks will be included in Unite for HER care boxes. Donate new, packaged socks, or wrap a ribbon around a pair of socks, add a tag and print “Packed with Love” and your first name.
Staff assistance, materials, and marketing and communications support provided.

Host a Student Event
Organize an educational outreach or fundraising event in your community, school, or local sports club. Plus, student volunteers are eligible to receive service hours.
Create an Online Fundraiser
Online fundraisers are an easy way to raise funds to support the patients of Unite for HER. You can create a fundraiser through Facebook, Instagram, or our online donation processor.
100% of the donations benefit our Wellness Programs and outreach services.
Raise HER future through the Capital Campaign
Join us in making a lasting impact by supporting Unite for HER’s capital campaign. Your contribution will help us reduce operational costs, expand our outreach, and provide vital services to an additional 2,000 breast and ovarian cancer patients over the next 20 years.
Together, we can ensure more patients receive the care they need while securing a valuable asset for our mission.
Donate Retirement Assets
Indivdiuals age 70 ½ or older can contribute up to $108,000 from their IRA per year directly to a charity, excluding donor-advised funds, through qualified charitable distributions (QCD). IRA assets go directly to the charity, and donors will not owe any taxes on the QCD, even if they do not itemize deductions.
Retirement assets can also be donated to a charity as a part of an estate plan. 100% of estate gifts directly benefit Unite for HER’s programs due to Unite for HER’s charitable income tax exemption.

We accept donations of publicly traded stock and gifts from donor-advised funds.

Plan a Legacy Gift
Help ensure that those with breast or ovarian cancer will be surrounded with a community of resources and support by including Unite for HER in your will, or as a beneficiary of your retirement or other estate plan. These impactful gifts give you the opportunity to make Unite for HER a piece of your legacy, and cost you nothing today. Planned gifts can be modified at any time at your discretion.
