Newcastle United announced a multi-year partnership with digital collectibles platform Quidd in March 2024. Together, they launched digital trading cards for the 23-24 season, that were released on Quidd's platform. They could be collected, traded and optionally minted as NFTs on Ethereum via Quidd's 'Mintables' feature. Unminted cards remained off-chain but fully tradable within the app. Some collectibles unlocked real-world perks such as merchandise, match tickets, and exclusive experiences. The collection was part of Quidd's broader NFT expansion before the platform shut down in January 2025.
