Custom Fields Pro

Custom Fields let you add extra questions or input fields to your booking form beyond the standard details.

This is useful for collecting additional information specific to your services — such as special instructions, preferences, or consent confirmations.

Navigate to Radius Booking → Configuration → Custom Fields.

All Custom Fields #

The All Custom Fields page gives you a full overview of every custom field added to your booking form.

Search & Filter

  • Search: Type in the search bar to filter fields by label name (e.g., ‘Special Instruction’).
  • Sort Order: Use the sort dropdown to order the list (e.g., Sort Order Ascending) to match the display sequence on your booking form.

Field List Columns

  • Label: The name of the custom field as shown to customers on the booking form.
  • Type: The input type of the field (e.g., Select, Text, Checkbox).
  • Required: Indicates whether the field is mandatory — shown as a Yes (red) or No badge.
  • Status: Shows whether the field is currently Active (green) or inactive.
  • Services: Displays which services the field applies to — shows All if assigned to every service, or lists specific ones.
  • Edit: Hit the edit icon to open and modify the field’s settings.
  • Delete: Click the delete icon to permanently remove the custom field.

Click ‘+ Add Custom Field’ in the top right corner to create a new custom field.

Add Custom Field #

1. Create New Custom Field #

Fill in the details below to add a new custom field to your booking form.

  • Label*: The name of the field as displayed to customers on the booking form (e.g., ‘Special Instructions’). Required.
  • Type*: The input type for the field. Select from available options such as text, dropdown, checkbox, etc. Required.
  • Placeholder: Optional hint text displayed inside the field before the customer types (e.g., ‘Enter your special instructions…’).
  • Sort Order: Set the display order of this field relative to other custom fields. Enter a number. Lower numbers appear first (e.g., 0).

2. Service Assignment  (Optional) #

Choose which services this custom field applies to. If no services are selected, the field will appear for all services.

  • Services: Check the boxes next to the specific services you want this field to appear for. Services are grouped by category (e.g., Fitness & Wellness, Education & Coaching). Leave all unchecked to apply the field globally to every service.

3. Status #

  • Active: Toggle on to make the custom field visible on your booking page. Toggle off to hide it without deleting it.

4. Settings #

  • Required: Toggle on to make this field mandatory — customers will not be able to complete their booking without filling it in.

Tip: Click Save to create the custom field, or Cancel to discard changes. Fields can be edited or deactivated at any time from the Custom Fields list.
