  • Today has been a lot. There’s a specific kind of tired that hits when you’re not just physically drained, but emotionally exhausted from trying to process a betrayal.

It’s hard when you’ve been holding space for others, only to find out someone you trusted wasn't holding that same space for the truth.

Discovering a lie from a friend doesn't just hurt; it makes you question your own judgment and the safety of the connection. It’s okay to feel stung. It’s okay to feel weary from the weight of it all.

Tonight, the choice is to step back and breathe. Letting go of the need to "fix" it or understand "why" right this second is the priority. Peace is worth more than a forced explanation.
To anyone else navigating a heavy heart and a long day: give yourself permission to just be. Having it all figured out isn't a requirement for being worthy of rest ,be still , Shalom.

    I've come to find out
Love isn't a movie scene; it’s the quiet decision to stay when you’re tired, frustrated, or just plain human.
We treat love like a feeling that comes and goes, but the Bible describes it as a lifelong workout.

1 Corinthians 13:7 tells us love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. That "always" covers the days you don't feel like it, the days you’re annoyed, and the days you’d rather just be right than be kind.

1 Peter 4:8 says love "covers a multitude of sins." It’s not about finding someone perfect; it’s about choosing to see past the mess and loving them anyway.

1 John 4:19 gives us the secret: "We love because He first loved us." We aren't naturally great at this! We are selfish, moody, and human. We only get better at loving because God keeps loving us through our own disasters.

Real love is just choosing to show up. It’s the apology, the patience, and the grace you offer when you’d rather hold a grudge. It’s not about being flawless; it’s about being faithful.

Think about those moments in life when you’ve hit a wall where you’ve tried every plan, talked to everyone you know, and nothing has moved the needle. You’re just exhausted. That’s usually when people start looking for something bigger than themselves.
That’s where the idea of "God Almighty" comes in, and honestly, it’s not meant to be some distant, scary power. It’s meant to be the opposite. It’s like saying, I can’t do this, but I know who can.

When everything feels chaotic, calling on God as "Almighty" is basically hitting the reset button on your anxiety. It’s taking a long, deep breath and deciding, Okay, I don't have to carry the weight of the entire world today because the One who built the world is watching over me.

It’s the ultimate comfort that you aren’t just wandering through life alone. It’s knowing that if you’re heading into a "big mountain" situation like a major job change, a difficult relationship, or a health scare you’ve got the biggest strength in the universe on your team. It’s not about magic; it’s about having a sense of peace that you’re going to be okay.
It turns the idea of God into a home base.No matter where you are or how lonely you feel, you’re never truly out of reach. It’s the confidence that comes from knowing the person in charge of everything actually cares about the tiny, messy, beautiful details of your day.

It’s less about a formal title and more about a feeling it’s like having a giant, unshakeable safety net beneath you when you're walking a high wire.

It’s really just a reminder that you don’t have to be the one to hold the whole sky up. You can just be you, and let that Almighty love do the heavy lifting.

  • Thinking out loud

Sometimes, when the world gets way too loud and my own head feels like a mess, I just stop and think about what He must actually look like.

If you try to picture what God looks like, you’ll likely find that your mind eventually runs out of colors and shapes. That’s because trying to fit the Infinite into a human image feels like trying to pour the ocean into a small, fragile cup.

But if we look at it through a human lens through our own experiences of love, hope, and healing we can maybe catch a glimpse.
    I think God looks like:

The face of the person who actually listens. You know that look someone gives you when they aren’t just hearing your words, but they are feeling what you’re feeling? That intense, undivided, compassionate attention. That’s a fraction of what His gaze is like.
Think about the expression on someone’s face when they finally get the news they’ve been praying for that pure, unadulterated joy and peace. I imagine God’s face holds that same kind of radiance, just without any shadow of worry.

The quiet strength in a storm. It’s the look of someone who is unshakable. It’s not a face that is cold or distant; it’s a face that says, "I’ve got you," even when the ground is shaking beneath your feet. It’s the calm, steady assurance that makes you feel safe enough to finally stop running.

The "I know you" gaze. It’s the most vulnerable, yet safest look imaginable. It’s a face that has seen every single one of your mistakes the ones you hide from everyone else and still looks at you with absolute, non-negotiable love. It’s the kind of face that tells you, "You are still mine, and you are still beautiful."

If you could really see Him, I don't think you'd be looking for a specific set of features. I think you'd just be overwhelmed by the feeling of finally being known, completely understood, and perfectly, relentlessly loved.
It wouldn't be a beauty that makes you feel small; it would be a beauty that makes you feel found.

  • Thinking out loud

For a long time, I thought love was just about being the nice one the person who always said yes, stayed quiet to keep the peace, and absorbed everything without a word.

But honestly? That’s not sustainable, and it’s definitely not the kind of love described in scripture.

I’ve learned that true, Christ-centered love is actually a lot more rugged than that. It’s not just a soft, fluffy feeling; it’s a disciplined practice.
Here is what I’ve realized love really looks like:

It’s the grace to forgive, but the wisdom to set boundaries.

I used to think keeping no record of wrongs meant I had to ignore bad behavior. I was wrong. Love gives you the grace to move past a mistake, but it also gives you the wisdom to set a boundary so that the same hurt doesn't keep happening. Loving someone doesn't mean letting them trample your peace or your values.

    It’s being kind, not "nice."
Nice is often just a mask we wear because we’re afraid of conflict. But kindness? That’s different. Kindness is having the guts to have the hard, honest conversations even when they feel uncomfortable because you care enough about the other person to want them to grow.

It’s the "Always" that requires work.
When the Bible says love "always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, it’s not saying it’s easy. It’s saying it’s a commitment. It’s choosing to show up on the days when the spark is gone, and choosing to believe the best in someone even when they’re acting like their worst self.

    It’s protecting the house.

You can't pour from an empty cup. Real love requires you to protect your own mental and emotional space so that you have something healthy to offer. Sometimes, the most loving thing you can do for a relationship is to step back, pray, and ask for the wisdom to lead with both heart and head.

At the end of the day, it’s just two imperfect humans trying to mirror the way we’ve been loved. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being consistent.

It’s deciding that the relationship is worth more than being right, and trusting that if you build it on truth and grace, it’ll actually hold up.

  • It’s okay to be tired. It’s okay to have days where you don't feel like a "boss," a "consultant," or a "leader." Sometimes, you just need to be a human being, not a human doing.
Your worth isn't tied to your output or your to-do list. It’s in the quiet spaces, the messy tears, the random doubts, and the gentle hope you hold onto when things get loud. You don't always have to hold it all together for everyone else. Let yourself be soft, let yourself breathe, and let yourself just be.
You are enough, exactly as you are today.

  • Happy Sunday!
I hope today feels like the deep breath you’ve been needing all week.

Some Sundays, you have the energy to conquer the world; other Sundays, the most "spiritual" thing you can do is just sit, exist, and let yourself recharge. There is no prize for being the most exhausted person in the room.

Whether your day involves a church service, a long nap, or just staring out the window with a good cup of coffee let today be the day you actually stop. Let the pressure to "be productive" go, and just be present.

You’ve done enough. You are enough. Soak in the grace, keep things simple, and have a beautiful, peaceful Sunday.

  • Thinking out loud

I was looking at this picture, and I immediately thought of God and our journey.

There’s something about that open road that feels exactly like walking with Him.

We spend so much of our lives obsessing over the "destination" the big goals, the answers we haven't gotten yet, and where exactly this path is leading. We want the map , we want to know what’s around the next curve.

But look at this she’s not running. She’s not stressed. She’s just walking, hat in hand, soaking in the light.
That’s the grace of it, isn't it?

See how she’s holding her hat instead of wearing it? So often, we carry our shields our need to control, our need to look perfect, our need to protect ourselves from the unknown like they’re lifesavers. But God is basically saying, “Put it down. Let the wind hit your face. Trust Me with the elements.” It’s a posture of pure surrender.

The road bends out of sight, and we don’t know what’s over that hill. Usually, that makes us want to slam on the brakes. But with God, the unknown isn't a dead end it’s just the next part of the adventure. You don’t need to see the whole route to take the next step. You just need to know who’s walking the road with you.

Even when the landscape looks a little dry or the way feels long, there’s this beautiful, golden light over everything. That’s His presence. He isn't just waiting for us at the finish line; He’s right here in the middle of the "walking," making the journey holy just by being there.

You don’t have to have it all figured out today. You don’t have to have arrived.
Sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is just keep walking, breathe in the air, and trust that the road beneath your feet is exactly where He wants you to be.

  • Ever walked into a room, cracked a perfectly timed joke, and felt every Christian in a 5-mile radius hit you with the "Holy Side-Eye"?

It’s like there’s an unwritten rule that the moment you follow Jesus, you have to trade your personality for a beige linen robe and a voice that sounds like a sleepy flute.

We’ve all seen the "Christian Aesthetic"—the soft nodding, the "hmmm" of agreement, and a vocabulary that sounds like it was copied from a 16th-century funeral.

It’s like we think being "spiritual" requires a personality bypass. 🫧
But let’s be real: God didn’t save a robot; He redeemed a human.

If you think God is totally strict , you haven't looked at a giraffe lately. Or a penguin trying to walk on ice or even a toddler trying to eat spaghetti .

God is the Author of joy ! He wired your brain to catch the absurdity in a stressful Tuesday. When you suppress your wit because you think it’s "un-Christian," you’re hiding the very spark He put in you.

He isn't waiting to smack you with a ruler for being funny ok

Nobody actually wants to talk to a robot. People are looking for a hope that is real, not scripted. When you show up to your WhatsApp groups or your job with a genuine laugh and a quick wit, you’re showing the world that the Gospel doesn't suck the life out of you it actually gives it back.

Being "serious" is just a mood; Joy is a fruit of the Spirit. If God made you funny, be funny! Your wit isn't a distraction from your walk with Christ; it’s the vehicle He uses to reach people that a "strict" Christian could never get close to.

Stop trying to program yourself into a version of Christianity that God never asked for. Just be the joyful, Spirit-filled human He designed you to be.

  • We’ve all had that person.

Maybe it’s a coworker, a friend, or even a family member who says something like, “Actually, if you did it this way…” or “I think you missed a spot here.”

Suddenly, your mood shifts. You feel that heat rise in your chest, and you immediately start listing all the reasons why you just don’t like them.

But if we’re being brutally honest in the quiet moments, is it actually their personality… or is it that they just poked a hole in the "perfect" image we’ve worked so hard to build?

Let’s be real: correction feels like an attack when our identity is tied to being right. If I have to be the smartest or the most "together" person in the room, then you telling me I’m wrong isn’t just advice—it’s a threat to my whole foundation.

We label people as "annoying" or "condescending" because it’s a lot easier than admitting, "Ouch, they’re right, and I’m embarrassed I didn't see it first." We use dislike as a shield to protect our ego from the sting of growth.

The Bible is actually pretty hilarious about this because it doesn't sugarcoat it at all. Proverbs 12:1 basically says if you hate being corrected, you’re being... well, "stupid." (Yikes, right?)

But Proverbs 27:17 reminds us that "iron sharpens iron." Have you ever seen iron being sharpened? There are sparks, there’s friction, and it’s loud. It’s not a comfortable process, but it’s the only way to get a dull blade ready for battle.

Next time you feel that defensive wall going up, try asking yourself:

Is it the message or the messenger? If a person you actually liked said the exact same thing, would you still be this upset?

What am I afraid of losing? Am I afraid that if I’m wrong, I’m less valuable? (Reminder: Your value is already settled at the Cross. A mistake doesn't change your worth. )

Sometimes God sends people who rub us the wrong way specifically to smooth out our rough edges.

Don't let your ego cheat you out of your growth It’s okay to not be the expert. It’s okay to have room to grow.

It is far better to walk away with a bruised ego and a sharpened soul than to keep your pride intact while staying exactly the same.

Let’s stop protecting our "rightness" and start protecting our growth.

You feel that heat rise in your chest, and you immediately start listing all the reasons why you just don’t like them. 🙅‍♀️ But if we’re being brutally honest in the quiet moments, is it actually their personality… or is it that they just poked a hole in the "perfect" image we’ve worked so hard to build? 🎈📌 Let’s be real: correction feels like an attack when our identity is tied to being right. 🏆 If I have to be the smartest or the most "together" person in the room, then you telling me I’m wrong isn’t just advice—it’s a threat to my whole foundation. 🧱🔨 We label people as "annoying" or "condescending" because it’s a lot easier than admitting, "Ouch, they’re right, and I’m embarrassed I didn't see it first." 📉 We use dislike as a shield to protect our ego from the sting of growth. 🛡️🥀 The Bible is actually pretty hilarious about this because it doesn't sugarcoat it at all. Proverbs 12:1 basically says if you hate being corrected, you’re being... well, "stupid." 📕🔥 (Yikes, right?)😂 But Proverbs 27:17 reminds us that "iron sharpens iron." ⚔️ Have you ever seen iron being sharpened? There are sparks, there’s friction, and it’s loud. 💥 It’s not a comfortable process, but it’s the only way to get a dull blade ready for battle. ⚔️🔥 Next time you feel that defensive wall going up, try asking yourself: Is it the message or the messenger? 🗣️ If a person you actually liked said the exact same thing, would you still be this upset? 🧐 What am I afraid of losing? 📉 Am I afraid that if I’m wrong, I’m less valuable? (Reminder: Your value is already settled at the Cross. A mistake doesn't change your worth. ✝️👑) Sometimes God sends people who rub us the wrong way specifically to smooth out our rough edges. 🎁✨ Don't let your ego cheat you out of your growth 🚀 It’s okay to not be the expert. It’s okay to have room to grow. 🌳 It is far better to walk away with a bruised ego and a sharpened soul than to keep your pride intact while staying exactly the same. 🩹🌟 Let’s stop protecting our "rightness" and start protecting our growth. 🕊️🙌

  • STOP. BREATHE. SIT WITH HIM.

I have a wild testimony, but first, a confession: I’m currently in the "Transition Gap" !

After months of silence on a job I applied for late last year, an email finally hit my inbox yesterday! They asked me to reach out for the interview link... and here we are on interview day, and the link is still "in transit."

As a professional Assistant and customer service specialist ,my brain is hardwired to "fix it," "follow up," and "optimize the workflow."

But as a Christian? My heart is mastering a different skill: The Art of the Holy Pause.

If you are hunting for an opportunity and all you see is a tiny glimpse or worse, a digital delay don’t spiral.

The Corporate World says: Panic, over-analyze, and hustle until you’re burnt out.

    Jesus says: "Peace, be still."
Whether navigating my own career "glitches," I’ve learned that He is the Source of Peace

    My Weekend Prayer for You:
Stop the scrolling. Sit with Jesus. Let Him be your anchor while the logistics of your breakthrough align.

Happy Weekend! The door is opening, but His peace is already here.
