Today, it is with sadness, yet great comfort in knowing that JD, Joel Williams has joined His and our Savior in Glory. We lift up and pray for his wonderful bride Anita Williams.
He spent all his working hours, and his whole heart occupying for the Kingdom on his mission field called Last Christian, Last Christian Media.
It has been my honor, and a true blessing to run this last few years with him. I watched him be excited for the Lord, and grow ever faster as he aged. He truly became a watchman, trumpeting the sound of Jesus' soon return. And now he is home.
I am certain, the first words Jesus spoke to him were "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" ... What a joy that must be.
We miss you Joel, and will see you when we get home too..

  • In 1786, Thomas Jefferson sat across from an envoy from Tripoli in London and asked a simple question…why are you attacking our ships, we’ve done nothing to you.

The answer he got became one of the most important, and most ignored diplomatic records in American history.

The envoy told him it was written in the Quran. Any nation who hadn’t acknowledged their authority were sinners and it was their right and duty to make war on them wherever they found them. And they could enslave any prisoners they took.

Jefferson wrote it down and sent it to Congress. He spent the next fifteen years trying to get somebody to take it seriously.

That conversation in London didn’t just start the First Barbary War. It was the first recorded moment an American official came face to face with the argument that would later drive the Muslim Brotherhood, Sayyid Qutb, and al-Qaeda.

The ideology didn’t change. The battlefield sure did.

This history goes from that London drawing room in 1786 all the way to a conservative dry town in Colorado in 1949 where the man who became the intellectual architect of modern jihadist movements spent two years studying at an American teachers college and came home ready to burn the whole Western world down.

I think this one is worth your time. Link in the comments.

  • Course 4 A wise man feareth

    Prov 14:16-17
16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

    Big Idea
Wisdom fears God enough to slow down; folly trusts self and erupts in sinful anger.

    1. Observe the Text
    1. Verse 16 contrasts *wise* vs. *fool*.
    • “Cautious / turns away from evil” – lit. *fears* (Hb. yārē’), the reflex of reverence.
    • “Arrogant and careless” – self-confident, heedless of consequence.
    2. Verse 17 focuses on anger’s fruit.
    • “Quick-tempered” – short-nostriled; reacts before thinking.
    • Outcome: “acts foolishly” (same root as *fool* above) → sin in motion.
    • Schemer (“man of evil devices”) ends up *hated*—even sinners tire of manipulators.

    2. Truths to Emphasize
    1. Anger is not first an *emotion* problem but a *wisdom* problem.
    2. Speed is the enemy of righteousness (cf. James 1 : 19-20).
    3. Pride fuels both recklessness and rage; humility (fear of the LORD) defuses them.

    3. Gospel Connection
Jesus, the embodiment of Wisdom (1 Cor 1 : 30), displayed measured, holy anger (Mark 3 : 5) yet “committed no sin” (1 Pet 2 : 22). At the cross He bore God’s wrath for our foolish eruptions so we can receive His Spirit of self-control (Gal 5 : 23).

    4. Application in 30 Seconds
    • Pause & pray before you speak—literally count to ten while surrendering the moment to Christ.
    • Plan a righteous response: “soft answer” (Prov 15 : 1) or silent withdrawal.
    • Repent quickly when you blow it; ask the offended person’s forgiveness and God’s cleansing.
    • Memorize these two verses as a guardrail; quote them when heat rises.

“Lord, teach me the wisdom that fears You and turns from evil. Rule my reactions so my temper serves Your glory, not my pride. Amen.”

  • f God is all-powerful and all-knowing… did He allow Satan to cause the fall?

This episode explores one of the most challenging and important questions in Scripture. We walk carefully through the Bible to examine angelic rebellion, human free will, divine foreknowledge, and whether redemption was always part of God’s eternal design.

Was the fall an unexpected tragedy — or part of a greater redemptive plan declared from the beginning?

This discussion is presented thoughtfully and respectfully, focusing on biblical teaching and careful analysis. The goal is understanding and clarity, not controversy.

We also briefly reference the recent outbreak of war in Iran and rising tensions in the Middle East as part of broader global awareness. We do not go in depth here, but we plan to address that subject more thoroughly in our next program from a biblical and informational perspective.

Governments are shifting. Culture is redefining itself. And Christians everywhere are feeling the pressure.

In this episode of The State of the World Today: Faith Under Pressure, UK political expert and commentator Mark Sutherland joins Evangelical Press Association member JD Williams for a wide-angle look at global developments affecting believers in government, politics, and public life.

    This is not about panic.

  • Genesis 22 is often taught as a lesson on obedience, but Scripture reveals a much deeper foundation.

This clip comes from The Akedah: Covenant on Trial, Resurrection on Record, a faith-based teaching that explores the biblical account of the binding of Isaac and how covenant, substitution, and resurrection are consistently revealed throughout Scripture. Rather than speculation, this program focuses on careful biblical study and the continuity of God’s covenant promises from Genesis through the work of Jesus Christ.

This content is presented as faith-centered biblical analysis, intended to encourage thoughtful study, spiritual growth, and respectful discussion within the Christian community.

  • Join us on your choice of (5) HD Video Platforms of your Choice tonight at 9:00pm ET/8:00pm CT for the full video presentation of "Examining the Atheist Case Against the Bible" at https://www.lastchristian.net

You will find a serious, disciplined, and intellectually honest examination of the most common arguments raised against Scripture in the modern world. Rather than relying on slogans, emotional appeals, or shallow debates, this program carefully analyzes atheistic claims using history, logic, philosophy, prophecy, and, most importantly, the Bible itself.
In an age where atheism often presents itself as the final authority of reason, science, and enlightenment, this program pauses the noise and asks a more important question: Do the arguments against the Bible actually withstand careful examination? From claims that Scripture is mythical or contradictory, to assertions that science has disproven God, to the moral challenge of evil and suffering, each issue is examined calmly, thoroughly, and without caricature.

This show does not shout. It does not mock. And it does not retreat. Instead, it invites skeptics, believers, and seekers alike to step back and examine the foundations beneath the atheist worldview—and to compare them honestly with the historical, philosophical, and prophetic claims of the Bible.
Through a methodical four-segment structure, the program explores whether atheism truly offers a coherent explanation for truth, morality, reason, and existence, or whether it ultimately borrows from the very biblical worldview it seeks to dismantle. The result is a compelling, thoughtful, and challenging examination that respects the intelligence of the audience while remaining unapologetically grounded in Scripture.

Examining the Atheist Case Against the Bible is not about winning arguments. It is about pursuing truth, exposing assumptions, and asking the questions modern culture often avoids. Whether you approach the topic as a committed Christian, a questioning skeptic, or someone simply seeking clarity, this program invites you to examine the case for yourself.
