Unlocking Potential Through Movement and Motivation
At IM ABLE, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to move, grow, and thrive, regardless of physical or cognitive challenges. Our adaptive programs are designed to meet individuals where they are and support them on their unique journeys to health and confidence. From inclusive fitness training and recreational activities to empowering mentorship and community events, we create opportunities for people of all abilities to push boundaries, build strength, and discover what they’re truly capable of. Because here, it’s not about what you can’t do, it’s about finding what you can.
Adaptive Equipment Demo Days
Choosing adaptive equipment can be overwhelming, especially without the chance to try it first. That’s why the Foundation offers free Demo Days, where participants can test from a fleet of equipment designed for a wide range of abilities.
Adaptive Personal Training
Our adaptive fitness trainers develop personalized programs tailored to individuals and small groups, helping them reach their goals, and then aim even higher.
Grant Program
Through IM ABLE Adaptive Equipment Grants, we provide adaptive sports equipment and group fitness opportunities to individuals with physical, cognitive, or behavioral challenges living in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Group Fitness Classes
The IM ABLE Foundation’s Group Fitness Classes focus on adaptive fitness, ensuring that participants with physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges can fully engage in safe, effective, and enjoyable workouts. Led by experienced and supportive instructors, each session is tailored to accommodate diverse needs while promoting strength, endurance, mobility, and confidence.
Indoor Rock Climbing
IM ABLE Foundation’s adaptive rock climbing sessions give people with disabilities the chance to climb safely and confidently, with certified instructors and adaptive equipment supporting every participant to reach the top.
Rally Point Cycling Club
Coming Spring 2026: Join IM ABLE’s Rally Point Cycling Club for scenic rides, including adaptive cycling on the Union Canal Trail, with handcycles and recumbent bikes available at the new Berks County Heritage Center shed opening this spring.
Track & Field
As a proud member of Move United, IM ABLE is launching an Adaptive Track & Field program to connect athletes with both recreational and competitive opportunities. Athletes with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities can train and compete in running, throwing, and jumping, whether trying the sport for the first time or aiming for higher levels.
Veteran Programs/Support
Recognizing the physical and mental challenges faced by those who have served, our Operation Lead from the Front (OLFTF) program provides adaptive fitness training, peer support, and leadership opportunities to help participants regain strength, confidence, and a sense of mission.
Wheelchair Rugby
IM ABLE Foundation’s wheelchair rugby program empowers athletes with physical disabilities to build strength, confidence, and teamwork. Participants learn the fast-paced, full-contact game with skilled coaching, adaptive equipment, and a supportive community that celebrates ability, resilience, and high-level competition.
