Summary

Widens CodeSplittingMode with an Advanced(ManualCodeSplittingOptions) variant so the raw codeSplitting option can carry chunk-grouping config inline, mirroring the public codeSplitting: boolean | CodeSplittingOptions API.

During normalization the object form is decomposed into the gate (code_splitting) plus manual_code_splitting, leaving downstream chunking unchanged.

Notes

  • Additive / non-breaking — the existing manualCodeSplitting field keeps working.
  • Dropping Copy / PartialEq / Eq from CodeSplittingMode rippled to two call sites (the binding getter and config_variant), both updated.
  • _config.schema.json regenerated: codeSplitting now accepts boolean | ManualCodeSplittingOptions.

Part of a 2-PR stack — followed by #9805, which migrates fixtures and removes the redundant manualCodeSplitting field.

…Mode (#9804)

## Summary

Widens `CodeSplittingMode` with an `Advanced(ManualCodeSplittingOptions)` variant so the raw `codeSplitting` option can carry chunk-grouping config inline, mirroring the public `codeSplitting: boolean | CodeSplittingOptions` API.

During normalization the object form is decomposed into the gate (`code_splitting`) plus `manual_code_splitting`, leaving downstream chunking unchanged.

## Notes

- **Additive / non-breaking** — the existing `manualCodeSplitting` field keeps working.
- Dropping `Copy` / `PartialEq` / `Eq` from `CodeSplittingMode` rippled to two call sites (the binding getter and `config_variant`), both updated.
- `_config.schema.json` regenerated: `codeSplitting` now accepts `boolean | ManualCodeSplittingOptions`.

Part of a 2-PR stack — followed by #9805, which migrates fixtures and removes the redundant `manualCodeSplitting` field.

## Summary

Follow-up to #9804 (now merged). Removes the now-redundant raw `BundlerOptions.manual_code_splitting` field — chunk grouping is carried solely by the merged `codeSplitting` object form (`CodeSplittingMode::Advanced`).

- The napi binding folds the two still-separate inputs — `inlineDynamicImports` and the grouping config (`advancedChunks` / `manualChunks`) — into a single `codeSplitting` value; the object form (`Advanced`) carries the groups.
- All integration fixtures migrate from `manualCodeSplitting` to `codeSplitting: { groups, ... }` (42 `_config.json` files).
- The normalized layer (`prepare_build_context`) still decomposes the merged option back into `code_splitting` (the gate) + `manual_code_splitting` (the grouping), so downstream chunking is unchanged.

## Removed Rust integration test — and why the diagnostic isn't lost

The fixture `errors/invalid_option/inline_dynamic_imports_with_advanced_chunks` asserted the `CodeSplittingDisabledWithManualCodeSplitting` build error, which fired when `codeSplitting: false` was combined with a separate `manualCodeSplitting: { groups }`.

After merging the two into a single field, that raw `BundlerOptions` state is **unrepresentable** — `codeSplitting` is either `false` or an object, never both — so the validation (and its fixture) are removed.

The same conflict is still expressible through the **deprecated** JS options (`inlineDynamicImports: true` + `advancedChunks`). Originally that combo reached the core as `code_splitting: false` + `manual_code_splitting: Some(..)` and tripped the very same error; after the merge the binding would instead fold it into `codeSplitting` and **silently drop** the groups. To avoid regressing that diagnostic, the JS layer (`bindingifyCodeSplitting`) now treats `inlineDynamicImports: true` exactly like `codeSplitting: false` — it **warns and drops** the grouping config (and `manualChunks` keeps throwing), mirroring the existing `codeSplitting: false` + `advancedChunks` handling, rather than forwarding it to the binding.

- Warning: `` `advancedChunks` option is ignored because `inlineDynamicImports: true` disables code splitting. ``
- New JS test `inlineDynamicImports: true with advancedChunks warns and ignores` in `packages/rolldown/tests/utils/bindingify-code-splitting.test.ts` covers the warning and the single-chunk output.

Net: the Rust fixture is gone, but diagnostic coverage for the user-facing scenario moves to the JS layer (with a dedicated test) — no silent loss of behavior.

## [1.1.2] - 2026-06-18

### 📝 Notable tsconfig behavior changes

These ship via the `oxc_resolver` 11.21.3 bump (#9841) and affect `resolve.tsconfigPaths` (Vite 8 resolves through oxc-resolver):

- **Honor explicit non-TS extensions in `include`** (oxc-project/oxc-resolver#1213). `compilerOptions.paths` now resolve for importers whose extension is explicitly listed in a tsconfig's `include` (e.g. `src/**/*.vue`, `src/**/*.svelte`). Previously oxc-resolver filtered importers by extension before evaluating the `include` globs, so a `.vue`/`.svelte` file listed in `include` never matched its project and its `paths` were skipped. This unblocks the default create-vite Vue + TS layout (a solution-style root plus a referenced `tsconfig.app.json` that declares `paths` and `include: ["src/**/*.ts", "src/**/*.vue"]`). Matches vue-tsc and svelte-check, which register these extensions via TypeScript's `extraFileExtensions`.
- **No fallback to the outermost tsconfig in auto-discovery** (oxc-project/oxc-resolver#1220). Auto-discovery no longer attaches the topmost ancestor `tsconfig.json` to a file that no project actually owns (via `files` / `include` / project references). Previously such a file inherited the outermost ancestor's `paths` / `baseUrl`, leaking aliases into files that project does not own. oxc-resolver now returns no config in that case, matching tsserver / typescript-go, which route such files to an inferred project with no aliases.
