For every class or interface declaration, the rule iterated all bindings of the enclosing scope, resolving each symbol to its declaring AST node, only for the subsequent name check to discard every entry whose name differed from the declaration's own. `Bindings` is a name-keyed map holding at most one symbol per name, so the only entry that can ever pass that check is the one keyed by the declaration's own name. Replace the scan with the equivalent `Scoping::get_binding(scope_id, name)` lookup in both match arms, taking the rule from O(declarations x scope bindings) to O(declarations) per file. Diagnostics are unchanged.

…ing lookup (#23894) ## What `typescript/no-unsafe-declaration-merging` is a default-enabled correctness rule that runs once per class/interface declaration in every TS/TSX file. For each such node, it iterated **all bindings of the enclosing scope**, resolved every symbol to its declaring AST node (two data-dependent IndexVec loads each), and then discarded every result whose name differed from the declaration's own name. This makes the rule O(declarations × scope bindings) per file — effectively quadratic on declaration-heavy files. `.d.ts` files are the real-world worst case: `lib.dom.d.ts` has ~1,520 class/interface declarations sharing one scope with ~2,800 bindings, so the rule performed ~4.3M redundant symbol→node lookups on that single file. ## Change `Bindings` is a name-keyed map holding at most one symbol per name, so the only entry that can ever pass the name check is the one keyed by the declaration's own name. Both match arms now do the equivalent O(1) lookup instead: ```rust ctx.scoping().get_binding(node.scope_id(), ident.name) ``` What that's worth end-to-end depends on how declaration-dense the input is. ## Performance impact On `lib.dom.d.ts` (the DOM typings shipped with every TypeScript install), the fix removes **~99.7%** of the rule's instructions (2,530,773,252 → 6,633,176). Release `oxlint` binaries differing only in this commit, default config, single-threaded wall time (hyperfine, 20 runs): | Input | Before | After | Delta | Delta % | |---|---|---|---|---| | **`lib.dom.d.ts`** | 21.8 ms | 14.3 ms | **–7.5ms** | **–34.4%** | ## Verification - All existing rule tests pass with unchanged snapshots (both declaration orderings covered). - Full `oxc_linter` lib suite: 1162 passed, 0 failed.
