We bring to you Tiny Grand – a pink 30-note toy piano with more personality than a truckload of recycled grand pianos… and, as far as we know, the deepest virtual instrument of its kind. It’s a simple little instrument at heart, but we gave it the royal treatment: over 3,000 discrete samples, 9 velocity layers, 10 round robins, and a convolution reverb engine packed with custom-crafted impulse responses. Tiny Grand was made with a whole lot of hand-sampled love, resulting in a quirky yet dynamic sound that’s perfect for everything from lo-fi lullabies to your next cinematic masterpiece.
Yes, it’s a toy piano – but we treated it like a concert grand. Each key recorded at 9 dynamic levels for a surprisingly expressive (and delightfully quirky) performance.
We recorded 10 variations per note to avoid robotic repeats and keep your playing human. Combined with 9 dynamic layers, that’s 90 samples per key. Not bad for a toy!
Included is a slew of custom impulse responses to place this tiny titan in unique, natural spaces – adding characterful ambience from cozy rooms to cavernous halls.
