As some might have noticed, my roughly weekly posting of summaries/reviews of Ron Brown’s Non-Electric Lighting series slipped by a week or so. This was not my intent, but Things Happen. This time of year (aka ‘The Holidays’ or better, ‘The Holidaze’) results in an increased workload and this year, like the last, is screwier than what was once the usual. My boss(es), for example, are no longer telling me to “watch your overtime” but are instead saying, “just don’t burn yourself out.” If that ain’t telling, what is?
Thus there will likely be an even longer delay before I get through Book 7 (again). And it’s not just the time of year. I was going to claim that Book 7 (Propane for Preppers) was the thickest, but upon looking, it isn’t. Book 6 (Kerosene Pressure Lanterns) is/was. No wonder it took so dang long!
