Meet Your PitCrew

Bryan Jeffries
ODVA | Army Veteran
Paperwork Specialist (Whether He Likes It or Not)
Army-trained, which means he understands structure, systems, and how to make things work the way they’re supposed to.
Bryan may not move fast, but that’s because he’s making sure your claim doesn’t come back broken. He knows the forms, the rules, and how to sling paperwork with surgical precision — which is exactly what you want when benefits are on the line.
If there’s a right way to do it, Bryan knows it.
If there’s a wrong way to do it, he’s seen that too.

SHEP / EAGLE OPS
Eagle OPS Executive Director | USMC Veteran
Pit Crew Lead | Controlled Chaos Division
Marine Corps taught him to attack problems head-on.
The VA taught him patience.
Eagle OPS lets him do both at the same time.
Shep approaches helping veterans like a bull in a china closet — he’ll break through barriers, knock over obstacles, and occasionally rearrange the furniture if that’s what it takes to get things moving.
It’s not always pretty.
It is always effective.

MICHAEL MERIT
ODVA | USMC Veteran
Benefits Specialist | Voice of Reason
Also a Marine — but the calm one.
Michael is the steady hand in the pit crew. While others are kicking doors and flipping switches, he’s making sure the paperwork is right, the details are covered, and nothing falls through the cracks.
He’s seen it all, fixed most of it, and has zero interest in making things more complicated than they already are.

Chief – CARMINE CAPPARELLO
VBA | Navy Veteran
Benefits Pit Crew | Heavyweight Division
Looks like a giant teddy bear.
Fights like a warship.
Carmine served in the Navy, so he understands patience, procedure, and how to stay steady when things get rough. But don’t let the big smile fool you — when it comes to veteran benefits, he’s relentless.
He’ll listen. He’ll explain it clearly.
And then he’ll go to work.
Claims stuck? He’s seen worse.
Confusing paperwork? He’ll straighten it out.
Not sure where to start? He’ll chart the course.
Calm presence. Big heart. Zero tolerance for veterans getting left behind.
