Our new article in The Robb Review

Hi everyone,

TIM RASINSKI and I wrote a new article for The Robb Review, a great blog site created by noted educators EVAN ROBB and LAURA ROBB

We’ve written for The Review before and it’s always a honor. This time we chose 40 Poems for 40 Weeks, the anthology we co-edited last year, as our inspiration. We also included information about Poetry from Daily Life Free Video Library, which was part of my project at Missouri’s Poet Laureate. The article appeared yesterday. Here is the link. https://shorturl.at/8M1hT I would be delighted if you will pass the link along to others who might be interested. Thank you.

The story must wait

Hi everyone,

TIM RASINSKI and I just finished a new article on poetry that will appear on The Robb Review, probably from mid-March through April. Here’s a recent article posted there by LESTER LAMINACK, https://therobbreviewblog.com/blog-2/ . We look forward to returning to the site hosted by LAURA ROBB and her educator son, EVAN ROBB. Laura and I are in discussions about a new book that we might do together, but that’s still down the road a bit.

For now, the search for a new story must wait while I work on a series of poems that I’ll present during an upcoming event. More about that soon. Can’t talk about it.

Op-ed article in California Reading Journal

Hi everyone,

The winter issue of California Reading Journal is out and I’m happy to be in it with an article called “Poetry for All.” You have to be a member to see it but for those who are, it starts on page 24. My thanks to editor NANCY ROGERS-ZEGARA, past president of The California Reading Association, for including me in this issue. An earlier version of the piece first appeared in The Robb Review, Education Blog, hosted by EVAN and LAURA ROBB.
