Community Nights (Pay-What-You-Will)

Where Community Takes Center Stage

Capital Stage welcomes local community groups and organizations into our theatre, patron lounge, and patio to connect, collaborate, and celebrate our communities. Join us for an evening where theatre meets community! We proudly open our doors for Community Nights, a vibrant celebration of local organizations, changemakers, and neighbors. On the second Saturday of each production schedule, our theatre lounge and patio transform into a welcoming hub for connection and collaboration.

2025/26 Season Community Night Schedule:

  • EUREKA DAY – Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, Doors open at 7:00 PM, Curtain at 8:00 PM
  • I AND YOU – Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, Doors open at 7:00 PM, Curtain at 8:00 PM
    • Join us with Special Guests & Presentations from 916 Ink starting at 7:15pm
  • THE SOUND INSIDE – Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, Doors open at 7:00 PM, Curtain at 8:00 PM
  • FAT HAM – Saturday, March 28, 2026, Doors open at 7:00 PM, Curtain at 8:00 PM
  • ESPEJOS: CLEAN – Saturday, May 16, 2026, Doors open at 7:00 PM, Curtain at 8:00 PM

What to Expect:

  • Local Spotlights & Theme Nights: Meet local community groups who have been invited to share their missions and stories at hosted tables, or participate in a themed evening with your fellow patrons and community members.
  • Affordable Access: Enjoy the show with our Pay-What-You-Will ticketing—starting at just $5.
  • Shared Space: Whether you’re here to mingle, learn, or be inspired, this is your night to engage with Sacramento’s diverse and passionate community.

Come early, grab a drink, explore the tables, and stay for the performance. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or a curious newcomer, Community Nights are your invitation to celebrate what makes our city extraordinary.
