Jerry Nadler: ‘ Taking babies to the hospital who survive the abortion procedure “endangers” the baby’

The Dems voted 210 against a bill to save the life of an aborted baby. Democrats said the bill would interfere with families’ medical decisions. UPDATE ADDED AT BOTTOM OF PAGE.

The respect for life is diminishing and can be seen in the latest House vote taken on saving the life of an aborted baby. No one speaks more eloquently for the evil than Representative Jerry Nadler. The U.S. birth rate has fallen by 20% since 2007. No one knows the reason. One thing is for sure, there is a lack of respect for life.

The bill does not ban abortions. It just makes sure that babies who survive abortions receive proper medical care. Dozens, perhaps hundreds, of babies survive abortions every year in the United States, but protections for these infants are limited. We know babies survive. Reports from other countries prove that babies survive abortions, too, and legal protections for them are needed. In Canada, the Canadian Institute of Health Information recorded 766 late-term, live-birth abortions over a five-year period in published in 2018.

The Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would require that babies who survive abortions receive the same medical attention that would be given to any other baby born at the same gestational age. The bill also would punish doctors who allow newborns to die or intentionally kill them after a failed abortion.

 

Nearly every House Democrat on Wednesday voted against legislation that would require immediate medical attention for babies who are born alive after an attempt was made to abort them.

The House passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which says any infant born alive after an attempted abortion is a “legal person for all purposes under the laws of the United States.” Doctors would be required to care for those infants as a “reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive.”

The bill passed 220-210, and all 210 of the “no” votes came from Democrats. Only one Democrat voted for the bill — Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas — and one other Democrat, Rep. Vicente Gonzalez of Texas, voted “present.” (Source)

DOJ Suing Idaho Over Abortion Law Using Medicare Hospital Funding

The federal government is determined to attack the recent Supreme Court’s decision on abortion in any conceivable way. The latest attack using Medicare reimbursement as the basis has a certain irony. Medicare was suppose to be for the old folks. But it has long gone past that particular demographic. Medicare is gong broke. The Social Security “Lock Box” has long been raided as a piggy bank. Seniors have been told to get to the back of the bus for funds that they and their employer have contributed to all of their working lives. When was the last time a senior needed an abortion? Just asking. Here goes the latest:

The Justice Department claims the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act requires hospitals receiving federal Medicare funding to perform emergency services, which can include abortion.

The Idaho abortion ban allows for exceptions only in the case of rape, incest or to save the patient’s life.

The Biden administration announced last month it was notifying health care facilities of the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act as a way to protect access to abortion in states that have moved to curtail the procedure following the high court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 case that established abortion as a right nationally.

The Biden administration on Tuesday sued Idaho over its law banning abortions in most circumstances, arguing the state’s move conflicts with federal law.

“The Idaho law would make it a criminal offense for doctors to comply with EMTALA’s requirement to provide stabilizing treatment, even where a doctor determines that abortion is the medical treatment necessary to prevent a patient from suffering severe health risks or even death,” the lawsuit read.

It asks the court to rule that the state’s law, which is set to take effect later this month, runs afoul of the Constitution and federal law.

“On the day Roe and Casey were overturned, we promised that the Justice Department would work tirelessly to protect and advance reproductive freedom,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said Tuesday in announcing the lawsuit.

Texas sued the Biden administration days after it made the announcement, arguing it can’t force doctors in the state to perform the procedure in violation of state laws. That lawsuit is pending in a federal court in Texas.

President Biden recently signed an executive order aimed at ensuring access to reproductive health care after the Supreme Court in June upended abortion jurisprudence in the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which upheld a 15-week ban on abortion in Mississippi and overruled Roe.

What is this thing called “inalienable rights”?

Dr. Tribe is an intellectual.  He is degreed in both mathematics and the law, and in the law, a long-acknowledged Constitutional scholar at Harvard Law and one of several responsible for teaching law to such as Barack Obama, Elena Kagan, John Roberts, Merrick Garland, and Ted Cruz.

He is also full of malarky.

The Supreme Court’s decision in the matter of Dobbs v. Mississippi took away no rights at all.  Let us examine carefully what Dr. Tribe said.  “… Americans went to bed with fewer inalienable rights than they had when they woke up.”

What is an inalienable right? 

It is an entitlement incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred.  Some would argue, a right accorded to mankind by God; freedom beyond other men’s power (or right) to strip away.  In Dr. Tribe’s context, one might question his claim that God ever gave human beings the right to kill their unborn child.

Any time someone on the political left argues the merits of inalienable rights, they present themselves with something of a dilemma: since few on the left believe in God, how can a non-entity offer an inalienable right?  And if an inalienable right isn’t one given to us by the Creator, then where did it come from — and what underlying principle makes it sacrosanct?

Perhaps our confusion comes from the use of the word “rights.” There is a vast difference between human behavior and human rights.  A person may offend society — and many do — but that doesn’t make anyone entitled to offend society.  If someone does “offend” the community, that person should anticipate that if outraged, society will punish them for that offense.  Murder, rape, incest, or torture are some things offensive to society.  Murder, as an example, is NOT an inalienable right.  No one is entitled to murder anyone else.  God’s law tells us that.

Competing interests 

Then we enter the world of competing interests.  Given “an entitlement,” our lawyers and judges often struggle with this question: Who among us is more entitled?  One popular refrain is that a woman has the inalienable right to choose what to do or not to do with her own body.  This argument states that if a woman carries a child, she has the inalienable right to dispose of it before full-term delivery.  There are three camps: those who believe this is true, those who don’t, and those who don’t care one way or the other.

We have another point of view, although it isn’t popular.  A woman would not have a child to deliver were it not for a man’s sperm.  No sperm, no child.  Does this give a woman’s male partner a greater say in the unborn child’s rights?  Can the law consign a woman to full-term pregnancy if her male partner demands it?  I now hear angry voices; what is the matter with me?  And yet, if a woman consents to accept a man’s sperm, does she not commit herself to the possibility of pregnancy?  It’s a complex issue — it is why we have jurists and a system of courts to entertain such questions.

But Dr. Tribe is wrong to suggest that the Dobb v. Mississippi decision was an assault on anyone’s inalienable rights or that it was the first time in history that such a thing happened.  Both arguments offer a profound stretch — and it’s either political or intellectually dishonest.  I would think that an example of a breach of our inalienable rights might include intentionally infecting unsuspecting black men with syphilis

In any case, Dobbs was not a question of civil rights.  The high court’s decision (6-3) only reaffirmed that the federal government has certain enumerated powers; the high court granting constitutional rights to people where none exist isn’t one of them.

Whether or not there shall be a “lawful murder” of an unborn child isn’t a federal matter; it is an issue that belongs to the states.  This was the challenge in Dobbs v. Mississippi.  And, just because Dr. Tribe didn’t like that decision doesn’t invalidate it.

And by the way, Roe v. Wade is just the tip of that iceberg.  What about the right of Mormons to polygamous marriage?  What about the right to pray in school?  What about the right to keep and bear arms? We might wonder where Dr. Tribes’ objections were when the American left began to argue that there is no right to free speech if it hurts someone’s feelings. What was it that the founder of the American Civil Liberties Union once told us?  Ah, right — The struggle for liberty never stays won.

Laurence Henry Tribe is a progressive/communist hack.  By this, I mean that he is dishonest and un-American — a pox on him.

Millions of Federal Funds Go to Harvesting Fetal Organs Including Viable and Full Term Babies

Will Planned Parenthood and other institutions finally be held responsible for the harvesting of baby organs? The issue of abortion is receiving attention front and center and now is the time for this practice to stop.

Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch has spent years getting to the bottom of this scandal. With the change in the abortion laws one wonder if this “cash cow” will be able to continue to feed the coffers of this death cult. It is time Planned Parenthood as well as other institutions who profit off of these deaths are revealed for who they are and what they do. We will look also at the DHHS and their callus disregard and lack of respect for human life.

Judicial Watch: New HHS Documents Reveal Millions in Federal Funding for University of Pittsburgh Human Fetal Organ Harvesting Project Including Viable and Full-Term Babies

 

Pitt advertises several points to NIH for why Pitt will be the best location for a “distribution hub” for supplying large numbers of aborted fetal body parts to NIH researchers, focusing on Pitt’s “over 18 years of experience” collecting body parts from aborted babies. Chillingly, Pitt announces under point number 5, “Ischemia time is minimized”: “We record the warm ischemic time on our samples and take steps to keep it at a minimum to ensure the highest quality biological specimens. We get feedback from our users and utilize this feedback to tailor our collection processes on a case-by-case basis to maximize the needs of investigators.” (pg. 62). Later in the application, Pitt describes “labor induction” as a “procedure that will be used to obtain the tissue” (pg. 73).

According to the NIH, warm ischemia time is “the time a tissue, organ, or body part remains at body temperature after its blood supply has been reduced or cut off but before it is cooled or reconnected to a blood supply.” If the fetus’ heartbeat and blood circulation continue in a labor induction abortion for harvesting organs, it means the fetus is being delivered while still alive and the cause of death is the removal of the organs.

Planned Parenthood has escaped any accountability for years. It is time they are held to whatever laws are applicable. They have received millions of federal dollars. It is time for this to stop.

Earlier, a federal court ordered the Department of Health and Human Services to release additional information about its purchases of organs harvested from aborted babies to be used to create “humanized mice” for HIV research.

The ruling follows an initial 2019 lawsuit filed by the advocacy group Judicial Watch after its Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was not adequately addressed by HHS. President of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, joins to discuss the case further.

As mentioned, Judicial Watch originally filed a FOIA request in 2018. One of the things they asked for, at the time, was all documentation and contracts between the FDA and Advanced Biosciences Resources (ABR).

Fitton tells us about the relationship between the two, what they found and what information was ordered to be released. The government apparently demanded that the organs of aborted babies be “fresh and never frozen.” Fitton shares more about that comment.

In addition to the FDA, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) also bought aborted baby parts from ABR. Fitton gives his insight on where ABR got those aborted baby parts from. DOJ indicts 15 in ‘Chop Shop’ for eagles, fails to charge against sale of baby parts

The Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) has yet to respond to letters from the chairs of congressional committees that made criminal referrals regarding allegations that Planned Parenthood and its partners in the biomedical procurement industry profited from the sale of the body parts of aborted babies.

In a stunning contrast, however, the DOJ has indicted 15 individuals for illegally trafficking the body parts of eagles and other migratory birds.

In April, following a two-year undercover operation known as Project Dakota Flyer, the U.S. Attorney’s office in South Dakota announced the indictments of 15 individuals for illegally trafficking eagle body parts.

The indictments in the eagle body parts trafficking cases are based on “the sale and purchase of wildlife with a market value in excess of $350,” while the CMP videos and the congressional committees showed StemExpress to be selling the body parts of aborted babies from Planned Parenthood for prices in excess of $500.

“The records subpoenaed by Congress show Planned Parenthood making ten times more money off of baby body parts than the amounts that got the eagle traffickers indicted, and companies like StemExpress sell aborted baby body parts from Planned Parenthood at prices far higher than the eagle body parts traffickers are charged with,” Daleiden explains to Breitbart News.

In the illegal eagle trafficking cases, U.S. Attorney Seiler accused the defendants of a lack of reverence for the eagles – a national symbol.

‘‘There was no cultural sensitivity,” he said. “There was no spirituality.’’

Maximum Pain – Custer’s Last Stand at the Supreme Court

The irony of it all. Pelosi and company putting the screws to the Supreme Court Justices by not bringing up the bill to provide the Justices security. The bill having passed by unanimous consent by the Senate.

We tumble down the rabbit hole as a third world dictatorship, determined to find Trump guilty of most anything to complete the process of denying him any further office. Making sure maximum pain is applied to him as well as those who supported him. Not so much those who create a violent atmosphere for the Supreme Court members.

We know it is against the law to protest the Supremes at their homes, yet our “almost” Supreme in the name of Merritt Garland does nothing. We dodged that bullet. No, Pelosi will drag it out waiting for the ruling so the maelstrom can occur first. If the judiciary thinks for a nanosecond they can remain untouched by the madness of the fevered mob, they are to think no more. Let that be the lesson.

They say today may be the day for the ruling on abortion to come down. One wonders why Roberts has chosen to delay releasing it. Meanwhile whoever leaked the draft ruling appears to be unscathed up to now. One can wonder if there are any doubts with Shumer’s threats and Pelosi holding up additional security funding for SCOTUS members that they wouldn’t mind one bit if something happened that will alter the courts numbers. This is what true predictability, causation & responsibility looks like.

 

 

 

The MSM remains mute. Twitter as of this posting finds no problem with this tweet below organizing threats to Justice Barrett and her children. Earlier they had posted the name and addresses of the court’s members.

They wrote, “Falls Church is a People of Praise stronghold. She sends her seven kids to a People of Praise school that she sat on the Board of Directors for. She attends church DAILY.”

The tweet was posted on the morning of June 8 – after the early morning arrest of Nicholas John Roske but before the arrest was first reported.

A Department of Homeland Security report said the Supreme Court draft opinion has unleashed a wave of threats against officials and others and increased the likelihood of extremist violence.

The Washington Stand has found that there have been at least 41 separate incidents of violent attacks against churches, pro-life organizations, and pro-life property across the country since the May 2 leak of a draft Supreme Court decision in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case that indicated the overturning of Roe v. Wade. These attacks include arson, vandalism, property theft, and property destruction.

These incidents do not include at least nine other occurrences of physical violence against pro-life advocates, threats of violence against churches, and illegal disruptions of church services that have unfolded within the same time frame.

In the same 40-day time period, there has been a single instance of violence against pro-abortion advocacy groups, in which a woman is suspected of committing arson at an abortion facility under construction on May 25 in Wyoming.

Despite the wide disparity in violent incidents between the two groups, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a “Terrorism Threat” advisory bulletin on June 7 that appeared to equate the amount of violent incidents from activists on both sides of the abortion issue. It stated, in part, “…individuals who advocate both for and against abortion have, on public forums, encouraged violence…”

The recent spike in attacks against churches and pro-life organizations is part of a wider pattern of violence that has seen a marked uptick in the last two years. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops released a report in early June that catalogued “at least 139 incidents … across 35 states and the District of Columbia since May 2020” against Catholic churches and organizations, including “arson, statues beheaded, limbs cut, smashed, and painted, gravestones defaced with swastikas and anti-Catholic language and American flags next to them burned, and other destruction and vandalism.”

The Supreme Court – Abortion and the Left’s Agenda

Let me clarify before you watch. The bill does not limit the abortion at time of birth to babies physically challenged. Basically any reason at all. The mental state of the Mother can decide it. The provision of two Physicians approval was removed. In fact, one does not even have to be a Physician to perform abortions. You will hear that in the full clip of Ms Tran.

 

HB 2491 – Recognizing that women have the constitutional right to make healthcare decisions about their own bodies, this bill aligns with the US Supreme Court decision Whole Women’s Health v. Hellerstedt and eliminates medically unnecessary and unduly burdensome requirements that make it difficult for women to access abortions.

Since cannibalism is found throughout the animal kingdom and therefore is something natural, perhaps it is time for humans to rethink the “ultimate taboo” against eating human flesh, Newsweek proposes in an article this week.

Poor people eating more meat means it is ‘bad news for the environment.’ That means they will live longer, healthier lives. More global warming. Poor people. They need to start thinking of the environment instead of survival and what not.

The Genetic Dead Ends Who Rule Europe is the title to an insightful and deliciously written piece about the fertility of the heads of European States. I have often pondered why Europe and many here in the States seem hellbent on losing our culture and identity ultimately giving away the very nature of the governance with the so-called open borders. Perhaps because many have no skin in the game for their offspring. Written in 2017, it is even more relevant in today’s world. Here we go:

When France decided to slit its own throat last week and elect the childless Emmanuel Macron as its president over the bustier and more fecund Marine Le Pen, it made him the ninth current European leader whose loins have borne no fruit.

In addition to France, childless men and barren women currently rule Italy, Germany, the UK, Scotland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.  Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, has likewise never fathered nor raised a seedlin’. (And it’s not as if he has a face that inspires female lubrication, so it’d be an uphill climb for him under any circumstances.)

At this point, the 39-year-old Macron will likely never become a father, seeing as his 64-year-old wife’s vagina stands a high statistical chance of having fossilized by now. Macron has described colonialism as a “crime against humanity,” although he apparently has no qualms about France being colonized by Muslims. He has also stated that there is no such thing as “French culture.” He is also persistently dogged by rumors that he’s had a long-lasting, rump-wrangling, man-on-man relationship with Radio France chief executive Mathieu Gallet.

During the campaign, Marine Le Pen accused Macron of being the lapdog of Angela Merkel, the former communist and nude sunbatherwho has never given birth, but has handed Europe over to be killed.  Under Merkel’s frumpy rule, Germany can currently claim the dubious bragging right of being the nation with the highest quotient of childless women in the world.

Current UK Prime Minister Theresa May also has a womb that might as well be a tomb, but at least it’s not from a lack of trying.  Same goes for Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon—she gave up after suffering a miscarriage. Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, who looks like Merkel with maybe a half-shot of testosterone and without the Grecian Formula, has likewise never used his genitals to generate a child. According to the latest results from a highly unscientific online poll, 100% of respondents think he’s gay.

When it comes to Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel(pictured to right of his partner), there’s no denying it—he’s as gay as a fresh sprig of mistletoe pinned to a red-velvet winter’s vest. He currently bears the distinction of being the “only openly gay world leader” at the moment. And we can all safely assume that his life partner isn’t going to start poppin’ babies out of his rectum anytime soon.

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven has never seen a boy or girl call him “daddy.” The only thing mentioned in the “Personal life” section of his Wikipedia page is that he “enjoys sports.” I cannot confirm whether or not Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is gay or not, but look at this picture and tell me he isn’t. What I can confirm is that a woman has never carried his sperm to term.

In stark contrast to the gaggle of fruits and the unfruitful who currently rule Western Europe, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Viktor Orban—who form a Triumvirate of Evil for anyone dumb enough to believe globalism’s a good thing—have graced the planet with a dozen children between them, which will undoubtedly lead to climate change and starvation in Africa, which will then force 100 million or so African refugees northward in search of freedom, social justice, and a better life.

The cobwebbed wombs and the blank-shooting scrotums that currently rule Europe obviously have no personal genetic stake in what happens to Europe after they die. To them, the Europeans of the future will be “all future generations” that inhabit Europe, not the biological descendants of those who’ve inhabited Europe for dozens of millennia.

A continent ruled by the sterile and inhabited by those who’ve been brainwashed or demoralized into choosing sterility themselves will have no posterity in the classical sense. Instead, they will be overrun by people from alien cultures who may not have developed much in the way of technology or philosophy but who at least possess the genetic wisdom to be fertile.”

Bernie Sanders: Abortion Rights Help Curb Population Growth to Combat Climate Change

Wow. Poor countries need to have more abortions to combat climate change. So says Bernie Sanders. The Marxists going back to their old ways. Bernie takes abortion one step beyond the other candidates. Conflates it with climate change, so anyone who has a little bitty doubt about killing off one’s offspring can glom on to the concept they are helping saving the planet. I include a couple of earlier stories just so we are all clear where the Left plans on taking us.

Since cannibalism is found throughout the animal kingdom and therefore is something natural, perhaps it is time for humans to rethink the “ultimate taboo” against eating human flesh, Newsweek proposes in an article this week.

Poor people eating more meat means it is ‘bad news for the environment.’ That means they will live longer, healthier lives. More global warming. Poor people. They need to start thinking of the environment instead of survival and what not.

 So humans next on the Bill of Fare?

Parents suing for “Wrongful birth” – Child has Down Syndrome

If we thought legally killing a baby up to an including birth wasn’t bad enough try this one on for size…”wrongful birth.” You see, we must desensitize ourselves that life has meaning. Anyone who doesn’t get it, needs to pay a price. In this case a law suit. This level of madness goes along with euthanasia. Assisted suicide. How soon before it is mandatory lights out for those who are no longer productive?

…. An Australian couple’s daughter – now a little girl of four years old – has Down syndrome. The couple had not been expecting this, as both a doctor and a sonographer had told them during an appointment in August of 2014 that the risk of a chromosomal abnormality was in the “low range” and that further testing was unnecessary. They turned out to have been mistaken, and the child had to spend several weeks in intensive care with a feeding tube following her birth.

While most parents would simply have felt overwhelming relief that their daughter turned out to be okay, one suspects that these particular parents did not: They are now suing both the clinic and the attending doctor for “wrongful birth,” claiming that the failure of the medical staff to alert them to their daughter’s condition was a mistake that allowed her to be born. If they had known she had Down syndrome, they would have ensured that she did not make it out of the womb alive by procuring an abortion. The “damages” that the couple are seeking include the cost of raising their unwanted little girl.

They are also suing for “maintenance costs” and the loss of future earnings that they anticipate as a result of being the parents of a child with a disability. In short: Their daughter is an inconvenience, and they would like the medical professionals who failed to let them know she had Down syndrome so that they could have her killed to pay for their daughter’s upbringing. After all, if they’d had their way, she would be dead, and they would be free. But because she ended up in their arms rather than in a dumpster, they are suing a clinic.

Bonus: California solves Medi-Cal deficit by using $5400 Euthanasia drug

So, by NOT allowing people on Medi-Cal cancer doctors, you assure their death—and by using the $5400 lethal dose, taxpayers save money.  Is this unethical, immoral or just good business by government?  This is the same government that spends tens of millions of dollars to keep murderers alive on death row.  Confused?

From the California Catholic Conference story:

Without fanfare or announcement, Governor Brown’s proposed 2016 Budget recommends $2.3 million dollars to allow California to purchase lethal drugs for Medi-Cal patients who want their physician to help them commit suicide. California would pay an estimated $5,400 per patient just for the drugs yet Medi-Cal patients still have no access to palliative care (designed to improve the quality of life for patients and their family facing serious illnesses.) Even more incredibly, a recent study has shown that Medi-Cal recipients have only a one in three chance of even getting cancer treatments under the system and often cannot obtain second opinions.
