Trump Prosecutor Fani Willis Must Turn Over All Communication With Jack Smith to Judicial Watch

Our gal Fani Willis is in a whole heap of trouble. Will she try and pull a Hillary and delete delete delete her communication with the White House?

Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch: “We’ve been doing this work for 30 years, and this is the first time in our experience a government official has been found in default for not showing up in court to answer an open records lawsuit.,”

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said. “Judicial Watch looks forward to getting any documents from the Fani Willis operation about collusion with the Biden administration and Nancy Pelosi’s Congress on her unprecedented and compromised ‘get-Trump’ prosecution.”

New York Post:

Embattled Atlanta District Attorney Fani Willis must turn over all communications with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6 committee to a conservative watchdog group, a judge ruled Tuesday.

Fulton County, Ga., Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney ruled that Willis – the last person still prosecuting President-elect Donald Trump – violated open-records laws when she failed to respond to an August 2023 request filed in Fulton County by Judicial Watch, the group said.

The accountability group had filed a lawsuit in March after it sought the communications between the Democratic prosecutor’s office and the special counsel, as well as the House panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riots and was rebuffed. (End) It looks like she will also have to pony up Tom Fitton’s legal expenses as well/

This is not her only legal problem. Fani has more problems with a different ongoing court case now.

Dec 3, 2024

A judge will decide whether a state Senate committee can order Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to testify. The committee is investigating allegations of wrongdoing by Willis in the Georgia election interference case. The entire trial is on Youtube.

As the lady says, fasten your seatbelts.

Bye Bye Christopher Wray

What may be lost in the kerfuffle over Kash Patel’s nomination to the FBI directorship, its so long Mr. Wray.  I have no intention of going through a laundry list of his failings.

But it is worth noting that last Friday, another J6er was arrested. Like a dog on a bone they won’t give up. So of all Wray’s failures, the deployment of human assets should go down as one of his worst failings. Churches, schools, clinics, there never were enough targets to go after as long as they were conservative.

The Washington Times picks it up:

In 2020, the FBI director dispatched no fewer than 15 special agents to Talladega Superspeedway to investigate a garage door pull-down after NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace suggested it might be evidence of a hate crime. That’s almost as many detectives as the Los Angeles Police Department assigned to investigate the Manson Family murder spree in the late 1960s.

The bureau hasn’t let up on its unprecedented nationwide dragnet, indicting 1,243 conservatives for trespassing at the U.S. Capitol nearly four years ago. Last Friday, a Florida man was charged with using “a deadly or dangerous weapon” on the west front of the Capitol. The lethal implement wasn’t a gun or a knife, as the terms imply. It was a large Trump 2020 banner.

While rambunctious sign bearers are being identified and captured using high-tech spy tools, the same FBI asserts it has no idea who planted pipe bombs outside the Democratic and Republican Party headquarters on Jan. 6.

We likewise know little about the men who attempted to assassinate Mr. Trump. The FBI brass seem willing to talk only when the discussion advances a political narrative favored by the current administration.

The most potent bullet point on Mr. Patel’s resume is the one outlining his service as chief investigator for then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes. The committee’s work ultimately exposed the Russia hoax that Hillary Clinton created and the FBI perpetuated — including on Mr. Wray’s watch.

Bunk here had to go to the Hindustan Times to find a video of Kash Patel without a lengthy liberal commentary. All claiming retribution was in the works. Says it all. There is a difference between retribution and accountability.

..

The nominee summed up his intentions at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February: “We are going to look back and say, we helped destroy the two-tiered system of justice that is targeting Americans illegally. We helped destroy and identify an intelligence community that has gone rogue to seize our right to vote with their lies and fake disinformation campaigns.”

The Deep State Revolts – Kash Patel ‘To Serve’ as FBI Director

If anyone thought that the Gaetz nomination for AG brought out the fire in the Democrats, try Kash Patel for FBI. Gaetz bowed out over allegations, Kash may not be as easy to dispatch. Though with all the time he spent with Steve Bannon and his War Room radio programs, there is a wealth of attack material to be found.

There is the issue of Christopher Wray who has two years left on his ten year term. He will not go gently into that dark night. He holds the key to much of the evidence that is damning to those in the administration and elsewhere. As AG Garland’s puppy dog, he is up to his elbows in the corruption.

As Sundance writes over at the Conservative Tree House:

…Several people are wondering if current FBI Director Chris Wray will resign.  It’s a very unusual dynamic and the internal pressure will likely be on Director Wray to force President Trump to fire him, especially if the House and Senate are in session and there’s no possibility at the time for President Trump to appoint an “acting” replacement.

A lot can happen with President Trump announcing Kash Patel “will serve as” FBI Director, while a current FBI Director is still in place.  Without the ability to appoint an “acting” replacement, the Deputy FBI director would take Wray’s place even if Wray was fired. (End)

It looks like some razzle dazzle in a recess appointment could be required. With the Supreme court ruling in 2014, it won’t be as easy. It could wind up in years of litigation.

It’s a move that could result in a fight that lands at the Supreme Court, which could put Trump at odds with conservative justices. In its 234 years, the Supreme Court has decided only one case involving recess appointments. If the conservative justices had their way in 2014, they would have made it virtually impossible for any future president to make them. (Source)

How likely is a Senate confirmation of Patel? It sounds like at least the GOPer that follows may have cold feet. After all, the FBI knows everything about all of them, down to their phone calls probably and the FBI are no doubt is in high gear already sifting through the dirt.

There is the “slush fund.” Since 1997, the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights has paid out $18.2 million to settle 291 cases of workplace disputes for Congress, the Capitol Police, the Architect of the Capitol, and the Library of Congress. When news first broke of the settlement account, Congress was accused of having a veritable #MeToo slush fund to secretly pay off victims of sexual harassment. (Source)

GOP Senator Mike Rounds expresses full confidence in Chris Wray during this interview it seems after expressing Trump has a right to bring forth his candidates. Then we have Senators Murkowski and Senator Collins I suspect would be a “no” vote on general principles.

The first couple of minutes are about Wray with Rounds comments:

Here we go with the howls from the media with their indignation. This should get them out of their depression. A “Cause Celeb”

The Tree House reposted a refresher lest we forget all that went down. It is a terrific recap and I encourage all to read it. We can hope that all the Senators do as well.

Contemplating the Next FBI Director

In order to appropriately discuss leadership of the FBI silo as an institution of DC influence, it becomes very important for everyone to understand the current status of the FBI as the organization has self-identified.

For those who followed the 2016 campaign of President Trump and then watched the 2017 attacks organized by the DOJ and FBI toward the incoming Trump administration, you may agree with me that a complete disassembly of the FBI is now warranted. However, first it is important to understand just how bad the corruption has become:

It goes down the list… Read More

The deepest of the deep state is prepared for battle.

When asked if Democrat Senator Chris Murphy knows how he will vote on Kash Patel, if nominated, Senator Murphy says not only is he a “no,” but he will also organize and lead the upper chamber effort against President Trump’s nominees.

The battle begins. The Deep State raises its ugly head. Trump no doubt is enjoying the ride. He still has his cards to play.

A New Sheriff in Town – So Much Winning!

There is a new sheriff in town. Just waiting for the squatters to vacate. So much winning. The Democrats are wandering in the wilderness trying to to figure out where the fault for their loss should land. Safe inside their bubble.

Happy Thanksgiving – ‘Over the Meadow and Through the Woods’

Another year rolls by and time for the big turkey day. It seems only yesterday we had the big family get togethers with much laughter and enjoying a fine time.

Now the kids are cast to the four winds. No longer within a day’s drive. Making their own happy memories.

Over the River and through the Wood (Thanksgiving Version) – The Tabernacle Choir.

Be sure and watch it in full screen.

Around Thanksgiving time was the time we always went up to the attic and hauled out all the tree decorations. Ornaments we had stored for decades. We were still using  the light strings that when one bulb went out the whole string went out. What fun!

We have so much to be thankful for this year especially. For many of us, we were given the gift of prayers answered.

Anyway, I will close out with a nice way to start out the season. I play the music on my smart TV for background music. Full screen at the least!

Best wishes to all for a wonderful day wherever you are and with those you are with.

Harris Does the Walk of Shame – The Apology Tour

Fortunately few on the Dem side of the aisle have figured out and remain clueless as to why Harris lost her race. With that said, let us hope they remain so for the next two years at least. Kamala returns from her walk into the woods, with probably a lot more than Chardonnay, to greet her upset fans.

Many of you are on the way or preparing for the big day tomorrow. A little on the lighter side for today,

So Jesse Waters with a “who dunnit” take on the whole matter.

Harris is on the requisite tour since she still needs to shill for bucks to cover her underwater campaign obligations. The Billion didn’t do it. First here is Chris Cuomo with a summary of one Democrat.

I think Chris Cuomo has it nailed down. Stop asking for money!

Jesse waters takes it away.

Have a great holiday tomorrow if I don’t catch you then. Happy Thanksgiving. Safe travels.

Is the Biden Considering Sending Nuclear Weapons to Ukraine?

Last week’s report in the New York Times that the West was considering sending nuclear weapons to Ukraine was enough to get a headline from Reuters this morning: “Kremlin says discussion in West about giving Ukraine nuclear weapons is irresponsible”

Earlier, senior Russian security official Dmitry Medvedev said that if the West supplied nuclear weapons to Ukraine then Moscow could consider such a transfer to be tantamount to an attack on Russia, providing grounds for a nuclear response.
We should argue that it is irresponsible for the Times to post the story from so called anonymous sources, nevertheless we are stuck with the result. No denial has come form Washington as it would be wise to do.
One thing is for sure, Biden doesn’t have a full deck, and ramping up this war talk does nothing to help in cooling things down.

The chair of NATO’s military committee, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, said in Brussels on Monday that businesses must be prepared for the worst as tensions with Russia continue to escalate.

“If we can make sure that all crucial services and goods can be delivered no matter what, then that is a key part of our deterrence,” Bauer said.

He continued:

We’re seeing that with the growing number of sabotage acts, and Europe has seen that with energy supply. We thought we had a deal with Gazprom, but we actually had a deal with Mr Putin. And the same goes for Chinese-owned infrastructure and goods. We actually have a deal with (Chinese President) Xi (Jinping).

We are naive if we think the Communist Party will never use that power. Business leaders in Europe and America need to realise that the commercial decisions they make have strategic consequences for the security of their nation,” Bauer stressed.

Businesses need to be prepared for a wartime scenario and adjust their production and distribution lines accordingly. Because while it may be the military who wins battles, it’s the economies that win wars.

Bauer’s comments come as the risk of all-out war with Moscow continues to rise after the Biden regime approved the use of U.S. long-range missiles striking the Russian mainland.

Meanwhile the BBC reports:

Miscalculations are the seeds of many wars…..While the U.S. focuses on Trump and his picks for the government, the war keeps escalating. It would be wise to keep our eye on it.

The worst of the swamp today.

McConnell Takes Control of Two Most Powerful Committees as he Steps Down as Leader

Thune kissed the ring of McConnell as we now learn, in order to take over as Senate Leader.

Thune AKA Paul Ryan 2.0. Trading one master for another. While we celebrated the GOP taking control of the Senate this past election, one has to wonder how far did we come in ridding ourselves of the worst elements that stymied Trump his last go around. It turns out that the old fool McConnell has cut himself a sweet deal in keeping his cold almost dead hands on control of the Senate.

While he may have turned leadership over the Senator Thune, McConnell instead will be in control of the two most powerful committees in the Senate. Maine’s Senator Collins will be right there along side of him taking control of the full Appropriations Committee, another one who with her side kick Murkosksi from Alaska, are thorns in the GOP side.

As an ardent anti Trumper, it has McConnwll who refused to recess the Senate during the last Trump term to make sure he couldn’t make any recess appointments. This was the time the GOP controlled the Senate.

WASHINGTON — Kentucky Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell announced Thursday he’ll become chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and the Rules Committee when the new Congress convenes in January.

“America’s national security interests face the gravest array of threats since the Second World War,” McConnell wrote in the announcement. “At this critical moment, a new Senate Republican majority has a responsibility to secure the future of U.S. leadership and primacy.”

Maine Sen. Susan Collins currently holds the top Republican slot on the Defense Subcommittee, which drafts the Pentagon’s annual spending bill, worth $825 billion.

Collins is expected to become chairwoman of the full Appropriations Committee next year and McConnell said in the statement he looks forward to working with her “to accomplish our shared goal.”

It wasn’t immediately clear Thursday if Collins would become chairwoman of one of the Appropriations Committee’s other 11 subcommittees.

McConnell will also take over the Senate Rules Committee, one of the oldest panels in the chamber that holds a broad jurisdiction.

“Defending the Senate as an institution and protecting the right to political speech in our elections remain among my longest-standing priorities,” McConnell wrote in his statement. “Ranking Member Deb Fischer has done an outstanding job advancing these causes, and I know she will remain a key partner in the committee’s ongoing work.”

Thune steps in:

The GOP Senate members elected Thune by secret ballot just 24 hours after they got into town.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who backed Scott on the first ballot, tried to convince his colleagues Tuesday to postpone the leadership election until later in November to give Trump and his team more time to weigh in on the race.

“We’re not even in town for 24 hours. I told them, ‘I’m offended by that.’ I think quite honestly that’s outrageous. They’re just trying to jam this down everybody’s throat,” Johnson said of the decision to hold the Senate election less than 24 hours after senators convened again in Washington after the Nov. 5 nationwide election.

The Hill

These people are everything wrong with America Yet somehow Mitch McConnell has just been handed one of the highest position in Government where he can block Donald Trump’s agenda I honestly don’t even have words to describe this.

And a hush falls upon the noisy city. The worst of the swamp.
