Orban Govt Blasts Ukraine Over Attack On Russian Pipeline Bringing Oil To Hungary

Budapest voiced its opposition to Ukrainian attacks on Russian pipelines that bring oil to Hungary. A Ukrainian attack on a pipeline briefly paused oil deliveries to the neighboring country.

On Tuesday, Ukraine conducted its largest-ever attack on Russia, firing over 300 drones into Russian territory. While Moscow claimed success in downing the UAVs, some reached their targets, killing at least three people. A measuring station on the Druzhba oil pipeline between Russia and Hungary was also hit. 

In response, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó urged Kiev to halt attacks on infrastructure bringing oil into Hungary, which imports most of its crude through the Druzhba pipeline. Despite the damage, the pipeline was operational by Tuesday afternoon.

“We consider the attacks directed against the energy structure of Hungary unacceptable,” Szijjártó said.

While Kiev and Budapest came to an agreement last year that allowed oil to continue to flow through the Ukrainian section of the Druzhba line, Ukraine’s Sanctions Minister Vladyslav Vlasiuk accused Hungary of using the “Druzhba pipeline problem as an argument to block the continuation of sanctions.”

There is concern within the European Union that Hungary will impede the bloc’s sanctions on Russia, as the measures are set to expire next week and must be reapproved with unanimous consent from all member states.

Vlasiuk, the Ukrainian sanctions chief, claimed that Budapest was undermining “the unity of the EU.“

Protecting people and our land. It’s not easy for us to accept fighting such an enemy. This is understandable. But today we are fighting for our independence. Therefore we will not recognize any occupied territories by the Russian Federation.

This is a fact. Our people fought for it. Our heroes died for it. How many wounded. How much has passed. That’s why no one will forget about it. And when I say no one will forget about it, this is the most important red line. We will not let anyone forget about this crime against Ukraine.

Is Zelensky getting his second wind? The European Summit that begins today is his best shot for keeping it going, so he apparently thinks. Reports unconfirmed are that Zelensky has changed his mind for the fourth time about the mineral deal back to a NO. Update at bottom of post.

PARIS ― The European Union is used to crises. This could be the one to beat them all.

As the bloc’s 27 leaders gather in Brussels on Thursday, they know the entire post-1945 security architecture ― one that depends on being buttressed by the United States ― could crumble any day.

Since Donald Trump’s return to the White House, leaders have talked a lot about sovereignty and defense. Officials from European governments told POLITICO that they acknowledge that the moment has come to translate words into action, yet some already fear it could go horribly wrong.

French President Emmanuel Macron said a peace agreement in Ukraine cannot be achieved “under Russian diktat,” speaking in a televised address on Wednesday ahead of a major European summit. “Peace cannot be Ukraine’s capitulation. It cannot be its collapse. Nor can it mean a fragile ceasefire,” Macron said.

While French President Emmanuel Macron has talked of the need for “an incredible awakening” and German Chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz described Europe as being “five minutes to midnight,” the worry from those close to the discussion is that events are happening more quickly than they can cope with.

“The nightmare scenario is that the U.S. announces a deal soon that accepts most of Russia’s demands and then tells Ukraine and Europe to take it or leave it,” said Malcolm Chalmers, deputy director general at the Royal United Services Institute in London.

And they’re not only scared of the United States. They’re also wary of some of their own. While Thursday’s hastily arranged summit, just days after less formal gatherings in Paris and London, signals an intention to come up with solutions, diplomats are already bracing for a pro-Russia group of leaders led by Hungary’s Viktor Orbán derailing the whole thing.

Andriy Yermak and Mike Waltz have spoken, and there’s positive movement. We hope to see some results next week”.

In the end for Ukraine, it will be all about the minerals. Yesterday’s post was with the war of words between Zelensky and Trump. What is becoming clear, that in the end, follow the money. It reminds me of the film “Lawrence of Arabia” when in the end, the only thing left to debate among the original Arab players was whose flag flew above the water tower if memory serves me. Otherwise the lines in the sand over territory were drawn by others.

Zelensky now is starting to realize his future may not be residing on top of some mountain in Ukraine, but rather trying to save his life in some Arab country. The USAID Media is now reporting – which means the CIA

And so, we came to the point where US President Donald J. Trump, on his way to make historical peace with the Russian Federation, had to put Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky in his place, and call him a ‘dictator without elections’, a man ruling via martial law – so much for ‘Ze’ being the ‘defender of democracy’.

What Trump knows, and we know – but the mainstream public is only slowly finding out – is that Zelensky needs the war to continue, needs the martial law to continue in power.

Because, if elections are held, he will NOT be reelected.

“Amid the public fallout, The Economist reported Wednesday that it had obtained internal polling indicating that General Valery Zaluzhny—who was a key figure in the war against Russia—would beat Zelensky should a wartime election be held.

We can expect Zelensky to be dispatched rather quickly. The poor fellow really thought he would be around after the spoils of war were divided and he would have his “ten for the big guy.” Look to see Zaluzhny be more agreeable with the west.

We don’t hear much here in the U.S. about the deal being cooked up since we have our own “gold bars” to dig up and find retribution for those who threw them overboard.

But Zelensky must have forgotten who he was toying with: Trump is the true Harry Bolz. And so, a scorching response soon happened. Zelensky is left with his head spinning.

“Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and “TRUMP,” will never be able to settle.

The United States has spent $200 Billion Dollars more than Europe, and Europe’s money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden “like a fiddle.” A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left.

In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only “TRUMP,” and the Trump Administration, can do. Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the “gravy train” going.

I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues…”

Is the Biden Considering Sending Nuclear Weapons to Ukraine?

Last week’s report in the New York Times that the West was considering sending nuclear weapons to Ukraine was enough to get a headline from Reuters this morning: “Kremlin says discussion in West about giving Ukraine nuclear weapons is irresponsible”

Earlier, senior Russian security official Dmitry Medvedev said that if the West supplied nuclear weapons to Ukraine then Moscow could consider such a transfer to be tantamount to an attack on Russia, providing grounds for a nuclear response.
We should argue that it is irresponsible for the Times to post the story from so called anonymous sources, nevertheless we are stuck with the result. No denial has come form Washington as it would be wise to do.
One thing is for sure, Biden doesn’t have a full deck, and ramping up this war talk does nothing to help in cooling things down.

The chair of NATO’s military committee, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, said in Brussels on Monday that businesses must be prepared for the worst as tensions with Russia continue to escalate.

“If we can make sure that all crucial services and goods can be delivered no matter what, then that is a key part of our deterrence,” Bauer said.

He continued:

We’re seeing that with the growing number of sabotage acts, and Europe has seen that with energy supply. We thought we had a deal with Gazprom, but we actually had a deal with Mr Putin. And the same goes for Chinese-owned infrastructure and goods. We actually have a deal with (Chinese President) Xi (Jinping).

We are naive if we think the Communist Party will never use that power. Business leaders in Europe and America need to realise that the commercial decisions they make have strategic consequences for the security of their nation,” Bauer stressed.

Businesses need to be prepared for a wartime scenario and adjust their production and distribution lines accordingly. Because while it may be the military who wins battles, it’s the economies that win wars.

Bauer’s comments come as the risk of all-out war with Moscow continues to rise after the Biden regime approved the use of U.S. long-range missiles striking the Russian mainland.

U.S Involvement in Ukraine War Expansion – Gives Far More Than ‘Permission’

The Press proclaims “U.S. gives permission for the use of Long Range Missiles.” The hitch? It is U.S technology being used, the U.S. and/or NATO involvement in setting the destination and coordinates of the missile. Ukraine does not have the technology as Putin points out. Now as Putin has always said, the use of these weapons is a red line.

Permission? Rather it is the U.S./NATO that is complicit in the expansion of the war. Meanwhile Putin lowers the threshold for the use of Nukes. Biden isn’t done ramping up the tension. Just now the Washington post reports:

This latest turn of events so far appears to raise little concerns in the U.S., but it sure does in Europe. Sweden has begun a series of emergency notifications to its citizens to prepare for general war.

It is called a major escalation. It would be wise to consider where this could lead. Mustang, who wrote yesterday’s post About Ukraine Using U.S. Long Range Missiles – A Risky Gambleleft this comment:

Russia correctly views the latest events as NATO’s direct engagement in attacking Russia.  The truth of this is bad enough, but ultimately, the truth doesn’t matter.  If Putin perceives that his country is being attacked by NATO (and I believe that would be a correct assessment), then Putin is likely to counterattack; I would not expect Russia to use Wal-Mart-grade missiles to respond.

He goes on with something more to consider:

We should anticipate that if Putin chooses not to act, the Russian military may remove him from office and put someone in place who will. We should also be worried about any mutual defense pacts Russia may have signed with other NATO adversaries. NATO is driving this bus, and it is headed toward a precipice.(end)

An embarassing phone conversation about Ukraine politics between two high profile US diplomats has surfaced online. The audio clip of a woman and man is purportedly between US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt.

The two people are heard discussing strategies to work with the three main opposition figures. She is heard telling him that she doesn’t think boxer-turned-politician Vitaly Klitschko should be in a new government and also saying “f**k the EU.” This episode will be embarassing for the US as President Barack Obama has denied the administration is manipulating the Ukrainian opposition.

About Ukraine Using U.S. Long Range Missiles – A Risky Gamble

President Joe Biden now authorizes Ukraine to use the U.S. Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) inside Russia, a decision that follows months of lobbying by Ukrainian officials and is seen by anyone with an ounce of common sense as a United States/NATO escalation in the Russo-Ukrainian War.

When asked for a comment on Biden’s decision, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said simply that Russian President Vladimir Putin “has already spoken on this matter.” Indeed, he has. On September 12, 2024, Putin stated to Russian media, saying, “It is not a question of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It is about deciding whether NATO countries become directly involved in the military conflict or not.” He added, “Moscow will make appropriate decisions in response to threats that are imposed on us.”

Developed in 1991, the missile is a supersonic tactical ballistic missile designed and manufactured by Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV) and Lockheed Martin. It uses a solid propellant, measures 13 feet long and 24 inches in diameter, and has a range of 190 miles. The missile is launched from the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) and the M142 High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS). 

The system was upgraded beginning in 2015 when the Obama administration signed a contract with Lockheed Martin to develop new hardware; the first modernized system was delivered in September 2016.  Additional work commenced almost immediately to enable ATACMS to strike moving targets on land and at sea.  This project was terminated in December 2020 after considerable expenditures had already been made to the developer.

The ship-launched version of this system is called NATACMS.

Beginning in late 2023, Ukraine started to use the earliest (short-range) version of the missile system to threaten the Russian-occupied land corridor to Crimea in southern Ukraine, as well as the Russian air bases in northern Crimea.

Despite recent information about President Biden authorizing these missiles for use in Ukraine, the fact is that Ukraine already used them in February 2024 against the Russian-occupied Dzhankoi Air Base. Presumably, Biden now allows Ukraine to send the missiles into Russia proper, along with the possible use of a NATO system called Storm Shadow (SCALPEG), a cruise missile system.

As Ukraine faces its most devastating winter, President Biden’s decision to allow ATACMS strikes within Russian territory has worsened the situation. this big shift in u.s policy, coming just months before Trump’s return to power, threatens to transform a proxy war into a direct confrontation between nuclear powers.

Although most people are not paying attention to these events or consider them potential threats to the peace and security of the United States, the few who are paying attention correctly note that this exemplifies the true nature of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

In exchange for access to European markets and industries and influence on certain European Union policies and programs, the United States will fight most of NATO’s battles and fund the costs of lethal conflict in both blood and materials.  Sweden, meanwhile, has begun a series of emergency notifications to its citizens to prepare for general war.Image

Biden Humiliated in Peru as he OK’s Ukraine Use of Long Range Missiles in Russia

Nothing like the dementia-ridden, deep state puppet in the White House green lighting a little World War 3 on his way out to the glue factory. Putin warned in September that U.S. approving the use of long range missiles would mean that the U.S. was at war with Russia. Putin stated that using these missiles would require the use of U.S. satellite  technology that Ukraine does not have.

Zero Hedge continues:

In a move straight out of Louis “After me, the flood” XV, the outgoing BIden admin, in a seemingly desperate move to destabilize the global geopolitical picture, has authorized the lifting of some restrictions on Ukraine’s use of western-made weapons to strike military targets inside Russia, according to reports from Bloomberg and the AP. The decision was reportedly shaped by North Korea ramping up support for President Vladimir Putin’s army and an increase in Russian missile and drone attacks on its neighbor. Read more

Zero Hedge does an excellent analysis of the Ukraine situation that is not getting the attention it deserves. Now with North Korea entering the fray with 3000 troops and the potential for 100,000 more, we would be wise to do so.

The Biden administration is planning to rush the last of over $6 billion remaining in Ukraine security assistance out the door by Inauguration Day, as the outgoing team prepares for the weapons flow to end once President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

The plan, described by two administration officials who were granted anonymity to discuss internal matters, is the only option the White House has to keep sending equipment to Ukraine to fight off continued Russian offensives. But the problems are immense. It normally takes months for munitions and equipment to get to Ukraine after an aid package is announced, so anything rolled out in the coming weeks would likely not fully arrive until well into the Trump administration, and the next commander in chief could halt the shipments before they’re on the ground.

As if this doesn’t punctuate the precariousness of the world’s peace,  Biden goes down and allows himself to be a fool. He met with Xi, for what purpose one can only guess.

LIMA, Peru (AP) — President Joe Biden arrived Thursday in Peru to start his six-day visit to Latin America for the final major international summits of his presidency, even as world leaders turn their attention to what Donald Trump’s return to the White House means for their countries.

Biden made other world leaders wait more than five minutes to take the group photo at the APEC Summit in Peru — then stuck him in the back corner when he finally showed up. Xi Jinping was front and center. Although some may claim that standing is alphabetical, prior photos show Trump muscling his way front and center.

His face is doing that weird thing again.

Nurse Biden Drags Joe Around NATO Ceremony

No big surprise that Joe didn’t exactly equate himself hoofing it around with Macron at the Normandy gathering honoring D-Day. Still it was a beautiful ceremony blessed with good weather.

US President Joe Biden has been mocked online after appearing to make a series of gaffes during the D-Day anniversary in Normandy on Thursday. During the event, Biden seemed unsure whether to stand or sit, awkwardly half-squatting as he searched for a chair.  First Lady Jill Biden, with her hand over her mouth, appeared to be mouthing words of guidance to him. Jill Biden later led him away while French President Emmanuel Macron stayed to greet veterans, some over 100 years old. “The vets look more with it than Biden,” one user wrote on X.

Biden spoke later in the event, pledging “we will not walk away” from Ukraine, drawing a direct line from the fight to liberate Europe from Nazi domination to today’s war against Russian aggression. He called D-Day a “powerful illustration of how alliances, real alliances make us stronger.”

We won’t walk away from Ukraine Joe? Of course not.

A sad commentary to what the day was all about.

‘40 Explosions In 15 Minutes…’: Ukraine Fires U.S.-Supplied HIMARS At Russia For First Time Amid War

Kyiv has used US weapons inside Russia just days after President Biden approved the tactic for defending Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, officials said.

Yehor Chernev – the deputy chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament’s committee on national security, defense and intelligence – said Kyiv used the weapons to destroy Russian missile launchers in the Belgorod region, The New York Times reports. 

It is only fitting on a day we remember D-Day we remind ourselves how war starts. This one is with Russia. Biden has escalated the U.S. involvement by approving Ukraine using our weaponry into Russian territory.

As we concern ourselves with Hunter Biden, this foolishness goes on unchecked with Joe Biden and his reckless behavior. Stumbling and bungling along with his foreign policy.

Now that Biden has pushed Russia and China together, Katie bar the door.

Meanwhile NATO makes plan on how U.S. military men and women could once again save Europe.

At a NATO meeting in Vilnius last year, NATO leaders agreed to develop new plans to ensure the alliance could provide “300,000 troops at high readiness.”

According to The Telegraph, U.S. troops and armor would land at one of five ports in the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Turkey or Norway from where they would travel through land corridors to NATO countries bordering Ukraine.

These land corridors would be free of bureaucratic local restrictions which in the past have held up the movement of troops and armor, leaving them stuck at borders.

Previous NATO plans only allowed for U.S. troops to land at Rotterdam in the Netherlands, but Ukraine’s experience of long-range missile attacks since the launch of the full-scale invasion has prompted a rethink.

Expanding the number of ports and having multiple land corridors would mean if one was hit, others would still be available to use.

“Everything is created in a way so the necessary resilience exists – robustness, reserves and also redundancies,” Lt Gen Alexander Sollfrank, the chief of NATO’s Joint Support Enabling Command, told The Telegraph.

But concerns remain about NATO’s air defense capabilities that would be needed to protect troops as they move across Europe.

More than two years into Russia’s full-scale war on Ukraine, the air defense capabilities of NATO’s eastern flank are only at 5% of the amount seen as necessary to deter an attack, the Financial Times (FT) reported on May 29, citing sources.

NATO members located in Central and Eastern Europe have publicized plans in recent weeks to improve their collective air defense in response to the Russian threat.

According to unnamed sources who spoke to the FT, the current air defense capabilities of NATO’s eastern flank are far from sufficient.

Air defense is a “major part of the plan to defend eastern Europe from invasion,” a NATO diplomat told the FT.

“And right now, we don’t have that.”
