Sustainability Action Plan
The Sustainability Action Plan will join the City's Zero Waste Plan, Bike Friendly Bexley Plan, and other plans as part of the cannon of Master Plans, which aim to address the city's mission and vision including "Protect, preserve, and enhance Bexley's natural and developed environment" and valuing "safety and sustainability" as well as "economic and environmental health".
The plan will incorporate the traditional aspects of a Climate Action Plan, which is specifically focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating the climate change impacts, as well as a broader environmental issues. It will be a comprehensive, detailed plan consisting of goals, methods for reaching them via initiatives that constitute programs and policies, priorities, and indicators for success via programs, projects, and actions.
