BEXLEY POOL
The David H. Madison Community Pool complex is for the enjoyment of Bexley residents, members and their guests. The facility is composed of 6 different features, including a zero-depth entry leisure pool, an 8-lane competition pool, a diving well, two (2) water slides, a toddler pool, and a splash pad. A handicapped lift is available for entering and exiting the pool for those with physical limitations.

2026 Pool Season Information
The David H. Madison Bexley Pool opening day will be Saturday, May 23, 2026.
To make the pool more affordable and accessible to all families and individuals in Bexley, we are now offering individual memberships at $55/person. There will be no family membership option, and there will be no early-bird rates.

Non-Resident Sponsored Individual Memberships
Applications available online starting April 1.*
*Applications for Non-Resident Pool Memberships are located under Programs, not Memberships.
Non-residents must be sponsored by a 2026 active Bexley Pool Member (18+). The Non-Resident must complete a two-step process online (see details below). A maximum of 350 non-resident individual memberships will be available for the summer. Limit one non-resident household sponsorship per 2026 Bexley Pool Member Household.
Returning Non-resident Members:
All approved non-resident members from the previous summer will receive a direct link to renew their pool membership for 2025. This link will only be active from March 1-31.
New Non-Resident Member Application Process:
Applications will be available online starting April 1 at 12:00 pm (under Programs, not Memberships). The Non-Resident must complete a two-step process online and there will be limited spaces depending on returning members. During this process, only one adult of the household needs to apply and you will be required to provide the name and contact info of your sponsoring resident pool member. Residents may only sponsor one non-resident household per year.

Swim Lesson Information
This program, developed by the American Red Cross, helps you learn how to swim or improve your swimming strokes, learn personal water safety skills, feel comfortable and relaxed in and around the water, and have fun! Swimmer instructor ratio averages at 6:1.

Private Swim Lesson Opportunities
We offer 1 to 1 private lessons at the Bexley Pool, which take place during open swim hours. Swim instructors' availability may be limited throughout the summer, but we will do our best to fulfill all inquiries in the order received. Availability is based solely on the number of instructors available to teach and what fits into their schedules.
Pricing is based on one child per private lesson. If you have more than one child interested in lessons, you will select a pack and pay per child. Semi-private lessons are not available.
